Hogwarts wizards who signed in to Middle-earth...

Chapter 6, Next Stop: Tucker Territory

Five days passed in the blink of an eye.

These days, Dui has mostly stayed in his guest room at the inn, constantly practicing the staffless casting of the Firefly Spell.

And the results were also very remarkable.

He can now quickly unleash a dazzling white light from his hand, enough to blind the enemy instantly.

Moreover, it can condense a ball of light at the fingertip and remain detached from the finger for a period of time.

This is the result of his combination of glow spells and the ability to control objects with magic.

The anniversary was celebrated with a joyful atmosphere in Dadong Town.

Everywhere was filled with flowers and cheerful music. The men carried out barrels of beer and ale from the storage tunnels, while the women prepared their best dishes.

As night fell, everyone gathered in the spacious main hall to celebrate together.

The banquet hall was bustling with people, with a dazzling array of delicious food and wine. Children frolicked among the crowd, while adults danced together to cheerful country music.

Dui was invited to sit next to the mayor, flanking him on either side of Chief Robin.

The mayor, who was highly respected in Dadong Town, rose to deliver a lengthy speech and then introduced Dui, who was standing next to him.

"Welcome! Let us welcome Wizard Duir to our banquet; this is equally something to celebrate!"

Under the gaze of thousands of curious eyes, Dui smiled and rose to greet them.

This was the first time he had ever seen so many hobbits at once.

The hall was tall enough for him to stand up straight, so when he stood up and looked at the group of hobbits who only reached his waist, he had a strange feeling of having wandered into a land of little people.

As the banquet reached its climax, the mayor, his cheeks flushed from drinking, made a request to Dui.

"Wizard Duir, would you have the honor of demonstrating the wonders of magic to us during this joyous season?"

Sheriff Robin, standing to the side, winked, clearly indicating that he had already spoken with the mayor.

Seeing everyone's sparkling eyes, Dui smiled and nodded.

"sure."

As he spoke, he clasped his hands together, and amidst the expectant gazes of the crowd, a dazzling light emanated from his palms.

Just as everyone was about to be blinded by the light, he clapped his hands together forcefully, and the light exploded and scattered in all directions, turning into countless points of light that darted around the banquet hall.

"Wow!"

Everyone stared wide-eyed in shock at what they saw.

The bolder children even reached out and grabbed a spot of light, dancing with joy.

"What amazing magic!" the mayor exclaimed.

The other hobbits also looked up in amazement at the wizard above.

Seeing this, Dui took the opportunity to ask to buy the Masatsuya chainmail vest.

The mayor immediately asked the people at the banquet for their opinions.

As expected, no one objected.

After all, the things in Mapletree's House were things that the hobbits would neither keep nor discard.

No one objected to giving it to the wizard Dui.

So the mayor decided to give the chainmail vest to Dui for free as a reward for demonstrating magic.

Thus, both sides were happy.

Dui was overjoyed to receive the chainmail vest, freeing himself from its constraints and fully immersing himself in the banquet atmosphere. During a toast with the mayor, Sheriff Robin, and others, Dui successfully got drunk for the first time.

"Wizard Duir, are you really not staying a little longer? The Midsummer Feast is just around the corner; it would be a shame if you didn't attend!"

On the second day of the banquet, Sheriff Robin tried to persuade her to stay.

Dui shook his head. "I'm sorry, Sheriff Robin, the warmth of Big Hole Town is truly captivating, but I must continue my journey."

He has obtained the chainmail vest he wanted and is now wearing it, so there is no need for him to stay here any longer.

Speaking of chainmail vests, Dui couldn't help but feel a surge of joy.

This chainmail vest is extremely defensive. Dui wielded two bonecrushers and slashed at it with all his might, but he couldn't leave a single mark on it. Instead, the bonecrusher blades were left with large nicks.

Now that he wears it, he feels his safety is greatly guaranteed.

After failing to persuade him to stay, Inspector Robin had no choice but to give up.

"In that case, I can only wish you a safe journey!"

"Thank you, goodbye, Inspector Robin!"

After bidding farewell to Sheriff Robin, Dui left Big Hole Town and headed south.

His next destination was Tak Town, also known as Tak Territory.

Dui remembers Tuckertown because it's the hometown of Pippin, one of the four hobbits in the future Fellowship of the Ring.

Tucker Town wasn't too far; Dui arrived in half a day's walk.

Unlike most hobbit towns, which are built in valleys and beside rivers, Tucker Town is built on a hilltop, offering a panoramic view of the entire Shire.

The entire town of Tucker looked more like a fortress, with militia patrolling and guarding the town.

Dui was questioned by the militia as soon as he arrived.

"Who are you? What brings you to Tak Town?"

Dui paid no attention to the wary and vigilant Hobbit militia.

"I am the wizard Duir, and I have just arrived from Great Cave Town to pay a visit here."

Upon hearing this, the militiaman looked at him with surprise and doubt, said "Please wait a moment!", and then quickly went into the city to report.

After a while, a hobbit with blond, curly hair and a dignified face came out with the militia.

He gave Dui a subtle look, then stepped forward to greet him warmly.

"Welcome, Wizard Duir, I am Paladin-Tuk."

"I received a letter from Bilbo a few days ago saying that you would come to Tuckertown, but I didn't expect you to come so late."

Dui was somewhat surprised to hear this; he hadn't expected Bilbo to write to this man.

"Hello, Mr. Tuk, what is your relationship with Bilbo?"

"Bilbo's mother, Belladonna Tuk, is my aunt, so he and I are cousins."

Paladin-Tuk gave a brief explanation and then invited him into the city.

"Alright, Wizard Duir, please allow me to properly entertain you, my guest who has traveled from afar!"

At Paladin-Tuk's warm invitation, Dui came to his home.

The Tuk family lived in Great Smeo, a giant version of Bilbo's Bag End.

The interior of Great Smeo contains numerous tunnels and rooms, resembling a sprawling underground kingdom inhabited by many members of the Tuk family.

The Paladin-Tuk family home was the largest and most luxurious among them.

Because he was the patriarch of the Tuk family and the hereditary lord of Tuk Town and the surrounding territory.

The Tuk family has been prominent and wealthy for generations, serving as members of the Shire Council, and its members have held the position of Shire governor for generations.

Moreover, unlike other hobbits, the Took family is quick-tempered and adventurous, making them arguably the most warlike of the hobbits.

This is why Bilbo Baggins was chosen by Gandalf to be part of the expedition to Lonely Mountain.

Because he has half Tuk family blood in his body, he also has the gene for adventure.

[Hogwarts Check-in System: Location: Shire-Tucker Town, Check-in required?]

As soon as Dui entered the Great Smio of the Tuk family, the system entry appeared in front of him.
