"Were we ambushed?" Karl's voice rang out slowly, tinged with a hint of doubt.

"That's right," Devourer replied, "but according to reports from my subordinates Gale and Stag, the Super God Academy currently does not have any War God-level beings. It's possible that other cosmic forces are also eyeing Earth."

Karl nodded slightly, pondered for a moment, and then said, "Let the outpost continue their reconnaissance."
