Chapter 293 Superman: Something's Wrong with Me

Bruce arrived at the rehearsal venue with Xiao Xian and Selena, where all the other staff members were already in place. The entire venue was brightly lit and beautifully decorated, fully prepared for the upcoming rehearsal.

Bruce walked onto the field and saw a tall figure standing in the center, wearing a red and blue bodysuit with the iconic "S" logo printed on the chest. He paused for a moment, then exclaimed in surprise, "Superman, what are you doing here?"

Superman turned around, revealing a friendly smile: "Bruce, this is a great opportunity to show off, and I'd like to participate too. Besides, I can give you some support here, can't I? The Atlanteans aren't so easy to talk to; I'm Wayne Enterprises' top combatant."

Bruce thought for a moment and reluctantly agreed with Superman's statement, but then said, "Showing my face is fine, but I will lead the negotiations."

Superman nodded in agreement: "No problem, I'm just here to get some exposure." After saying that, he looked at Selena and nodded with a smile.

Superman turned to Xiao Xian: "You're Ah Bin? You do look a lot like Xiao Xian, the one who signed with Osborne."

Bruce added, "Although Ah Bin looks like Xiao Xian, Ah Bin is very capable."

Superman looked at Bruce and smiled: "Boss, of course you decide on your personal assistant. I have no intention of interfering; I was just making a comment because he looks like Xiao Xian."

Superman looked at Bruce and asked thoughtfully, "By the way, Bruce, you didn't actually let Bin sleep with your wife, did you?"

Upon hearing this, Bruce immediately shook his head angrily in denial: "Of course not, where did you hear this rumor from!" Despite his outward anger, Bruce felt an extremely exciting thrill inside.

Superman shrugged and gave an innocent smile: "I was just curious, after all, this kind of thing is all over the news."

Backstage, Xiao Xian watched Bruce and Selena's performance on the television screen, observing their every move during the rehearsal.

Xiao Xian was startled by these words, but quickly composed himself and calmly looked at the screen. Superman continued, "How exactly did you get Bruce to agree to do this?"

Xiao Xian smiled slightly, turned to look at Superman, and calmly replied, "It's probably because I'm good at it. Plus, Bruce has rather unusual hobbies, so we hit it off immediately."

After listening, Superman gave Xiao Xian an approving smile and a thumbs-up: "Well done. I've disliked Bruce for a long time. Although you look like that jerk Xiao Xian, you did a really good job."

Xiao Xian nodded, maintaining his smile: "Thank you for your recognition, Superman."

Superman stood next to Xiao Xian, looking at Bruce, who appeared to be a successful man on television, filled with doubt. Finally, he turned to Xiao Xian beside him and asked:

"Bin, what's wrong with Bruce? How can he have such a bizarre hobby? I saw him in the car, he was even more excited than the two of you."

Xiao Xian shrugged and said calmly, "It's hard to say what a person's hobbies are. Sometimes you might not even be aware of a hobby before, but something can suddenly inspire you to pursue it."

Superman, upon hearing this, fell into deep thought. He recalled his childhood and his current hobbies, slowly nodded, then shook his head and said...

"That's true. But Bruce's hobby is a bit too unusual. If it were me..." Before he could finish speaking, Superman suddenly imagined a scene: his wife Louise and Abin playing cards in the back seat, while he drove in the front.

The thought stunned him. The next second, the mocking smile on Superman's face vanished, replaced by shock and confusion. He was surprised to find that he wasn't angry at all; on the contrary, he felt a strong stimulation from the situation.

"No way..." Superman muttered to himself, trying to clear his mind.

Xiao Xian noticed the change in Superman's expression and asked in surprise, "What's wrong, Superman?"

Xiao Xian's surprise at this moment was genuine; Superman's mental resistance was lower than he had imagined. With the same magical intensity, Bruce only showed some tendency, while Superman was directly triggered to have that tendency.

It seems that the superhero of this world has extremely serious psychological problems, much like Azu from The Boys.

The conversation he had just had made him realize that deep within him lay hidden emotions and desires he had never been aware of before. This discovery left him feeling more lost and confused than ever before.

High in the sky, Superman hovered, took out his phone, and opened Bruce's Twitter account. His gaze focused on Bruce's latest update, a short video.

In the video, Bruce, holding his phone, walks up to Xiao Xian and Selena, his tone a mix of joking and accusation: "Bin, a lot of people online are saying you secretly cheated on me. Today, in front of everyone, tell us whether you secretly cheated on me or not."

Xiao Xian looked at the camera calmly, raised his hand and swore, "I swear, I absolutely did not secretly cheat on Bruce."

So it wasn't done secretly, but openly, right? Superman looked at Bin's barely suppressed smile and his meaningful gaze on the screen, and understood that both Bin and Bruce were saying things with hidden meanings.

Superman then continued to look at Bruce's past activities. Superman thought he might be overthinking it. The Bruce he knew was petty and jealous. The last person who cheated on him, Rachel, was locked in the basement and tortured by him for several years.

But looking at these tweets now, Superman feels they are quite meaningful, and can't help but admire Bruce's shrewdness.

At the same time, Superman couldn't help but think, if even someone as petty and jealous as Bruce is like this, does it mean that this is really a happy thing?
