Mera walked out of Bruce Wayne's office, her coldness and disdain unable to conceal her inner rage.

Mera took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and began to chant an ancient incantation softly. Her hands danced in the air, her fingertips emitting a soft glow. As her incantation quickened, the surrounding scenery began to distort, as if a thin mist were dissipating before her eyes.

When she opened her eyes, everything had changed drastically. Xiao Xian, who had been lying in a pool of blood, was now calmly sitting on the sofa, still holding the glass of wine in his hand, leisurely taking a sip. Selena leaned against Xiao Xian's chest, her eyes showing no worry, but rather a hint of mockery and amusement as she looked at Mera with a smile.

Mera's gaze was icy as she coldly swept her eyes over the two people before her, knowing in her heart that everything that had just happened was nothing more than an illusion cast by the other party.

Mera glared angrily at Xiao Xian, her eyes filled with coldness and fury. She said coldly, "Despicable human, how dare a third-rate mage use magic to toy with me." Her voice was as icy and chilling as the winter wind.

Mera took a deep breath and stared coldly at Xiao Xian. She raised her hands, and water elements gathered around her, forming a powerful current that rushed towards Xiao Xian. However, Xiao Xian simply smiled calmly, and with a flick of his finger, a shimmering protective shield appeared in front of him, easily blocking Mera's attack.

Xiao Xian smiled at Mera, a hint of mockery and disdain in his eyes. "This magic is not bad. But isn't it necromancy? You're an Atlantean, why didn't you study water magic properly? How did you learn necromancy?"

Upon hearing this, Mera's expression changed slightly, and she stammered, "This is my secret, I will absolutely not tell."
