The Silent Witch of Hogwarts

Chapter 674 Prisoner of War Transfer

Chapter 674 Prisoner of War Transfer

As the first rays of sunlight rose in the early morning, Loila and Nagini were already seated in a café in the corner of Diagon Alley.

Loila was slumped over the table, looking like she hadn't had much rest, stirring her coffee with one hand.

"What did you do last night?" Nagini asked slowly. "Why do you look so tired?"

"No—I didn't do anything." Loila turned her face away slightly, looking a little embarrassed. Of course, she wouldn't tell Miss Nagini that she hadn't slept well because she dreamed about Dumbledore.

Yes, Royla dreamt last night that Dumbledore died, and everyone was very sad, with Voldemort launching a massive invasion and stuff like that —

Why should I be sad? A dream is just a dream!

Even so, Loila still couldn't fall asleep, which is why she was so tired.

"Are you working on magic arrays again?" Nagini asked casually. "But I didn't hear any noise."

"Could it be that you had a nightmare?"

Upon seeing Miss Nagini's smiling expression, Roy quickly lowered his face and said, "This is—impossible!"

.

"Really?" Nagini chuckled softly, then shook her head. "Are you really going to give Bella to them?"

But Loila waved her hand dismissively: "She doesn't know the location of the other Horcrux—I've already looked through all her recent memories."

Since there's no location for the Horcrux, it seems there's no point in interrogating her—besides, her memories are full of terrifying and particularly oppressive fragments.

I feel like watching her for too long will affect my mood — so after thinking about it, Roy thinks it would be better to hand her over to the Order of the Phoenix.

Just then, the coffee shop door was pushed open, and Lupin walked in with a slightly wary look on his face, along with Miss Tonks beside him.

The two walked into the coffee shop and glanced around. When they saw Loila and Nagini in the corner, they both smiled slightly.

"Loila." Lupin nodded slightly and sat down, a gentle smile on his face. "I'm glad to see you're alright."

"I—I'm happy too—" Roy pursed her lips slightly and nodded to Mr. Lupin and Miss Tonks.

As the two sat down, Tonks couldn't help but ask, "So, Miss Hamilton, you—you really have something to say about her?" Nagini seemed a little regretful.

"Is Bella here?" Although she tried her best to keep her voice down, it was still quite loud.

"Calm down, Tonks," Lupin patted her shoulder gently, then said, "Keep your voice down."

"Sorry! Sorry!" Tonks nodded quickly, as if snapping out of his daze, and then said, "So it's true?"

""

"Hmm." Loila nodded gently, then whispered, "She—she's right now in my—Space Extension Book."

"But I—I didn't get anything out of you." She paused, then continued, "So I think leaving it to you—maybe that's a good idea?"

"Leave it to us?" Tonks looked somewhat confused. "Miss Hamilton, aren't you also a member of our Order of the Phoenix?"

Am I still like that after all?

Loila was taken aback. She had thought that she had nothing to do with the Order of the Phoenix anymore. After all, Dumbledore wouldn't keep a member of the Mughal Party around, would he?

So, Mr. Lupin and Miss Tonks didn't know about this?

Seeing Loila pause, Tonks asked in a low voice, "Miss Hamilton—there's something I'm particularly curious about, so I'd like to ask—"

"Tonks," Lupin placed a hand on her shoulder, "This matter—Headmaster Dumbledore reminded us of it."

"Ah—" Tonks gave a slightly strange look, gritted her teeth, and looked at Lupin, saying, "Remus, do you also think that Miss Hamilton shouldn't be told about this?"

"Aren't you friends?"

"I—" Lupin showed a somewhat struggling expression, but in the end he gritted his teeth and said, "Since it has come to this—then it must continue like this."

"Tonks————"

"?" Loila looked at the two of them with a puzzled expression and didn't know what to say.

And when did you two become such good friends?

With his arm around her shoulder and Remus-like gestures, Loila sensed something strange.

"Ahem—Anyway, thank you, Loira." Lupin then steered the conversation back on track, saying, "But how long will your secret operation last?"

"Ah—" Loila paused when she heard the words "secret operation." She knew this was probably Dumbledore's explanation to everyone—but because of that, she didn't know how long it would last.

Dumbledore didn't mention a time either.

"I—I'm not quite sure either," Loila could only say.

"Maybe—maybe it will take a few more months?" Loila said, then suddenly remembered something and quickly corrected herself, "Yes—"

Oh, right.

"I have something to ask you—it's not very important—and it's not something I want to ask—it's something Miss Nagini wants to ask."

"Um?

'

"It's okay if you don't want to tell me, since I don't really care about this issue—I just found out by chance and wanted to ask about it."

Really not concerned? Lupin felt that whatever the question was, Roy would be extremely concerned—he had never seen Roy like this before, babbling on and on—

However, she seemed oblivious to her own rambling, continuing to speak haltingly until finally, as if exhausted, she slowly said, "So—so do you understand?"

"?"

Lupin and Tonks both watched Loila in silence.

It was obvious they didn't quite understand—but it didn't matter—I just asked casually.

Loila coughed and said, "Dumbledore—how—how has he been lately?"

'

As soon as she asked the question, Lupin and Tonks both stiffened slightly.

Is there a problem?!

Loila immediately leaned closer to the two of them and asked again, "Is he—is he injured?"

"————" Lupin was silent for a few seconds. He and Miss Tonks exchanged a glance and nodded at the same time. Then he coughed slightly and spoke.

"Loila—this must never be told to anyone else—absolutely not."

"Huh?!" Loila's ears twitched.

"It's like this—Loila." He pursed his lips and recounted the recent events.
