The Silent Witch of Hogwarts

Chapter 675 Conspiracy

Chapter 675 Conspiracy

"What's wrong, Loila?"

Inside the cabin in the woods, Nagini raised an eyebrow as she looked at Loila's face: "Are you feeling unwell?"

"No—no." Loila shook her head slightly, then looked down at the coffee cup on the table, where she could see her own face reflected in the cup.

Although the cup was slightly distorted due to its shape, Loila could still tell that her complexion wasn't very good.

"Could it be because of Dumbledore?"

Nagini's sudden words made Loila flinch, and she immediately turned her head away, saying, "How—how could this be!"

"I—I—I could never possibly care about Dumbledore or anything like that—"

"Oh dear, oh dear—" Nagini leaned against the table, resting her head on her arm, a slightly melancholy expression on her face.

"If what Lupin and the others said is true—then Dumbledore's situation is indeed not good." She paused, then added, "However, Dumbledore has been quite good to us."

"They gave you a job and took good care of you at work, didn't they?" Nagini's words left Loila speechless, her lips pursed.

"But—the thought that your most beloved Grindelwald was defeated by Dumbledore—makes my gratitude seem to diminish considerably."

'

'

Loila's face showed a slight struggle, then she shook her head and said, "No need—no need to worry about him."

"He'll be fine soon, right?" Loila said, looking at Nagini. "Dumbledore and all that—"

Very cunning.

"He probably just wanted to lower Voldemort's guard, right? That must be it."

"Maybe?" Nagini shook her head slightly, then changed the subject: "By the way, what should we do next?"

"Destroyed yet another Horcrux, and then—handed over the captured prisoners to the Order of the Phoenix." Nagini shrugged. "Don't you want to take a break?"

"Rest...?"

Haven't I been resting the whole time?

Loila pursed her lips and shook her head slightly: "I think... I think we don't need to."

"Should we keep searching—for the Horcruxes?" Loila said, taking out a compass. "If we haven't made any mistakes—"

Voldemort should only have one Horcrux left.

"If we find that Horcrux—Voldemort will have no chance of being resurrected or anything like that." Royla said this, but Nagini still shook her head slightly.

She sensed that Loila seemed a little distracted.

It seems Dumbledore has a really big influence on Loira — although she says she hates him and doesn't care, she's been like this ever since she learned about Dumbledore from Lupin.

Several days have passed now — Nagini sighed softly as he watched Loyla begin to drift off into her own thoughts again.

Never mind—no matter what, I will support her, no matter what she wants to do, no matter what she wants to do—

"Alright—alright!" Loila patted her face to stop her overthinking, and nodded seriously, saying, "Let's think about the location of the Horcruxes now!"

"Speak up—aren't you usually quite talkative?" Voldemort sneered as he sat in his chair, looking at the Death Eaters.

Everyone lowered their heads, and for a moment no one dared to speak.

"Master—Master—" After a long silence, the Carol siblings, sitting beside Voldemort, thought for a moment and then spoke: "Please—"

Calm down————

"Calm down?" Voldemort said with a sneer. "Am I angry?"

'

'

The Death Eaters instinctively looked up at the corpse lying on the ground, then simultaneously lowered their heads.

Is this what you call not getting angry?

"Master—Master—" another Death Eater mustered his courage and looked earnestly at Voldemort, saying, "We—"

"We still have a chance to rescue Miss Lestrange, don't we?"

"Although she's been captured by the Order of the Phoenix—they certainly won't kill Miss Lestrange immediately," the Death Eater said slowly. "We might have a chance—a chance to rescue her, don't we?"

"So how should we save them?" Voldemort asked calmly, "Is this task your responsibility?"

'

""

Upon hearing this, the Death Eater immediately lowered his head.

"Heh." Voldemort continued with a cold laugh, "If this matter were entrusted to Bella—she would carry it out without uttering a word."

'

'

His words were met with a moment of silence.

In the silence, Voldemort shook his head and said, "A bunch of trash."

"Lucius—you stay." He looked at Lucius, who was sitting silently in the corner, and said slowly, "Everyone else, leave."

'

'

In the somewhat oppressive atmosphere, the other Death Eaters slowly walked out of the room.

"Master—Master—" Lucius, looking at Voldemort's unpredictable expression, lowered his head, his face pale, and said, "What—what are your orders?"

"Hesitating, are you Hamilton?"

"No—no!" Lucius quickly said, "I am your loyal servant, not that damned half-breed freak."

"This mixed-race freak could take you all down by himself."

"————"

Lucius lowered his head, his lips twitching.

"Never mind." Voldemort shook his head indifferently and said, "I heard that your son is still studying at Hogwarts, right?"

""

"Owner?"

"He must be incredibly passionate about our cause, right?" Voldemort said, looking quietly at Lucius, making Lucius seem unable to utter the words he wanted to say.

He hesitated for a few seconds, then lowered his head and said, "You—you're right."

"Being able to fight for your cause is the proudest thing in his life."

"That's good," Voldemort said slowly. "That's why I kept you here."

"Because you are smart, Lucius," he said, "not because you are obedient—but because you know why you should be obedient."

Voldemort's every word made Lucius's face grow even paler.

"Clatter".

Voldemort slowly placed a letter on the table. Upon seeing the letter, Lucius's expression immediately turned to surprise.

"A letter from our old friend," Voldemort scoffed. "Severus Snape—a man who betrayed us long ago, isn't he?"

"He—he is—"

"He gave us some information," Voldemort said slowly, "about Miss Lestrange."

"The details are all in this letter," Voldemort said. "Read this letter carefully."

"Then tell your son," Voldemort slowly rose and walked to the window. "This is his best chance to fight for a great cause."

"And then Voldemort paused, "Not just Dumbledore—but Hamilton too—she can't escape either."
