Douluo Continent: Starting by controlling the Holy Maiden of the Holy Spirit Cult

Chapter 1 Prologue: Gentlemen, listen to the dragon's roar!

Chapter 1 Prologue: Gentlemen, listen to the dragon's roar!

Douluo Continent, Star Luo Empire.

A huge palace-like building, with golden glazed tiles, shimmered with a scarlet light in the setting sun.

It was dusk, and the remaining sunlight shone on the golden glazed tiles, casting a somber, blood-red hue over the entire Duke's mansion, a sight that could be faintly seen even from the top of Xingluo City.

The back door on the south side of the Duke's mansion opened silently, and a slender figure walked out slowly.

It was a boy who looked only eight or nine years old. He was thin and held a paper tinderbox in his hand. His short black hair was a little messy, and his pale face showed a deathly stillness that was completely out of place for his age.

The boy's name is Huo Yuhao, not the original Huo Yuhao from Douluo Continent, but Huo Yuhao who transmigrated from Earth.

In her previous life, her beloved girl offended a group of beasts online. Those wolves in sheep's clothing spread her photos indiscriminately under the guise of searching for tea, and bombarded her with telecommunications attacks day and night. Under pressure from public opinion, the girl could no longer bear the behavior of those beasts and jumped off a high building.

Those beasts used their superb skills to erase the traces of their violence, and everything eventually came to nothing. However, Huo Yuhao could feel the girl's gaze every night when he fell asleep, and an extremely torturous and heart-wrenching feeling welled up in his heart.

In the end, Huo Yuhao spent several months using a false name to find out the addresses of those beasts through various contacts. In a very short time, he traveled to various places and crushed those animals one by one, finally going to prison.

On the night of his execution, Huo Yuhao laughed wildly, his eyes bloodshot, roaring at the injustice of the world. He had no regrets about everything he had done!

"The world has inflicted pain on me and those I cherish, so I will make the world feel pain in return!"

"Let those scum feel the pain!"

When he woke up again, he was in the Duke's mansion of the Star Luo Empire in the Douluo Continent. He had transmigrated.

His first scene before transmigrating was being kicked hard by a guard in the mansion.

Just like in the original story, facing the seasoned guards under his half-brother Dai Huabin, the weak Huo Yuhao was powerless to fight back. Hearing the commotion outside, his biological mother Huo Yun'er ran out of the courtyard, shielding her young son with her own body and pleading desperately.

In the end, the mother and son were both beaten to the point of near death before the two guards finally stopped.

The original memories of this body flashed through Huo Yuhao's mind one after another.

Huo Yun'er was the personal maid of the White Tiger Duke. She grew up with the Duke since childhood. In the nobility, personal maids existed to serve their masters. One night twelve years ago, Huo Yuhao was quietly born in his mother's womb.

Huo Yun'er grew up with the Duke from a young age and was greatly favored by him, which made her the target of jealousy from the Duke's first wife.

While the Duke of White Tiger was away on campaign, the Duchess forced Huo Yun'er and her son to live a hard life in the woodshed behind the servants' quarters, which gradually caused Huo Yun'er's health to collapse. Coupled with the constant oppression from the Duchess and the servants, Huo Yun'er eventually fell ill and died suddenly.

Huo Yuhao was younger and had a stronger ability to recover, so he managed to pull through. However, Huo Yun'er's health deteriorated due to years of overwork, leaving her with severe internal injuries.

Two years later, Huo Yun'er left this world forever with endless reluctance.

Huo Yuhao's eyes gradually turned red. He clearly remembered those extraordinary pupils—the symbol of direct blood ties to the Duke's mansion. And he was the Duchess's youngest son, his half-brother, the one who had killed his mother, Dai Huabin…

Huo Yuhao spent several months, combining his expertise in chemical experiments from his previous life, to plant nearly a ton of explosives around the entire Duke's mansion under the guise of cleaning.

"Finally finished." Huo Yuhao was so excited that he could hardly contain himself. His whole body trembled. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and grinned cruelly.

"My mother in this life, watch over me from heaven, I can finally begin to avenge you!"

Huo Yuhao lit the tinderbox, casually tossing it to the ground. The fuse, barely protruding from the ground, instantly ignited, carrying with it the violent emotions of Huo Yuhao's two lifetimes, sweeping towards the vast Duke's mansion—

"boom--"

Just as Huo Yuhao had walked a mile away, a tremendous roar resounded through the sky. A huge mushroom cloud suddenly rose over the Duke's mansion, and the oncoming storm almost knocked the boy's thin body down. However, Huo Yuhao still stood firm, arms outstretched, laughing wildly.

Mother, listen to the dragon's roar!

"Hehehe..." Huo Yuhao laughed heartily, even tears streaming down his face. He walked back, laughing and crying at the same time, completely ignoring the hot air from the explosion that tore his thin clothes to shreds.

About ten minutes later, Huo Yuhao returned to the "former site" of the Duke's mansion. It would be more accurate to describe it as ruins. Everywhere he looked, there were the remains of pavilions billowing with thick smoke, and the place was dilapidated, completely unlike the magnificent appearance it had been half an hour ago.

"Mom, I did it! Did you see that?" Huo Yuhao stared at his masterpiece, gesturing wildly, almost going mad.

Just then, several black figures broke through the air and arrived in front of the ruins of the Duke's mansion, all showing expressions of shock.

Good grief, it must have been hit directly by a level nine soul-guided cannonball!

The leader, dressed in black, stood with his hands behind his back, gazing silently at the ruins, seemingly sensing something.

Before long, he raised his hand and clenched it slightly towards the void in front of him. Several humanoid phantoms immediately floated out from the ruins and gathered in his palm.

"The vengeful spirits of thousands of people are invaluable nourishment. Let's act quickly before the officials arrive!"

"Understood!" the other men in black replied, flipping their hands to take out several strangely shaped flags, ready to make their move.

Suddenly, an unexpected change occurred: the vengeful spirits of the entire mansion took to the air on their own and flew off in a certain direction.

"What? There are still our people nearby?" The leader of the men in black was taken aback. On the continent, the only beings who could freely control the undead should be their people.

The group exchanged glances and immediately set off for the place where the souls were converging.

At the end of the gathering of countless souls, a ragged boy laughed and danced madly. Unaware that his bloodshot eyes radiated a dazzling light, devouring all the souls that had gathered there.

This scene was witnessed by several people who had come to investigate silently. The men in black exchanged glances, and the look in their eyes, revealed beneath their cloaks, gradually changed from initial surprise to extreme ecstasy.

"Our Holy Son has come!"

After some thought, I decided to write a new book. I'm temporarily putting "The Ghost of the River of Oblivion" on hold and will try writing a Douluo Continent story instead. Following the original plot and making modifications will make the writing process much easier and faster. I hope you all like it.
