Douluo Continent: Starting by controlling the Holy Maiden of the Holy Spirit Cult

Chapter 84 A teacher is one who imparts knowledge, instructs in medicine, and resolves illness.

"Why?" Wang Yan asked, puzzled. Being a class monitor in Shrek Academy was a glorious thing, and it could also greatly improve a student's overall abilities.

"Teacher, he's lazy! Hahahaha..." The students who were originally in the same class as Huo Yuhao couldn't help but laugh, obviously they had a certain understanding of this guy.

"Nonsense!" Zhou Yi slammed her hand on the podium. She had lost a soul bone in a bet with Mu Jin during the freshman assessment, and had almost gotten that scheming woman to have her man forge a soul tool. Now she was looking for a place to vent her anger. "What do you think the academy is? The academy provides you with a platform for training, yet you don't cherish it? What kind of progress do you expect in the future?"

"Sorry, I don't want to exercise." Huo Yuhao wouldn't indulge her. This woman always made herself look like she had wrinkles and gray hair. Not only did it make her look ugly, but it also affected his ability to listen to lectures. She even followed the excellent teaching theory of a great master and made them run laps all the time.

Running a ball? They're Soul Masters, not bodybuilders. The thought of possibly running laps like idiots in the future sent chills down Huo Yuhao's spine.

"How dare you! Huo Yuhao, do you think you're so great just because you've achieved a little success?" Zhou Yi was easily provoked by him. "Do you know how many students at Shrek Academy dream of being class monitor? Do you think you can easily shirk this responsibility just because you want to be lazy?"

"Then let them be the ones. Look at your original students, they're all quite good, like Cao Jinxuan and Xiao Xiao..." Huo Yuhao shrugged, directly hitting her weak spot.

"Huo Yuhao! Who are you talking to? Do you really think that just because you're number one among the freshmen, no one can touch you?" Zhou Yi was furious upon hearing this. She was notoriously protective of her own students. The championship that should have belonged to her class was taken away by these guys from Mu Jin's class. How could she accept this? How could she prove her excellent running theory?

Zhou Yi was only at the Soul Emperor level, so naturally she couldn't do anything about Huo Yuhao. Just as Wang Yan was about to smooth things over, Huo Yuhao walked straight out of the classroom.

"In that case, let's go and apply to change classes." Huo Yuhao ignored her and left without any hesitation.

This perverted old hag is clearly going to make an example of him to vent her anger for Wang Dong and the others. How could Huo Yuhao possibly sit idly by and wait to die? Rather than staying here cowardly and being bossed around by Zhou Yi, it would be better to transfer back to Mu Jin's class and slack off.

The moment he stood up to leave, Xie Huanyue, Cui Yajie, and Wu Feng stood up at the same time and followed him without hesitation.

"You lot who don't listen to your teachers will one day be eliminated from the academy!"

Behind Huo Yuhao and the other three came Zhou Yi's angry roar.

Huo Yuhao felt a warmth in his heart at the silent support of Xie Huanyue and the other two. He was going to find the head of the teaching department, Du Weilun, to switch their classes. If that didn't work out, he would simply drop out of school and go to the Sun Moon Empire to learn about the most advanced soul tools...

Due to the importance that the Sea God Pavilion placed on Huo Yuhao, Du Weilun had no choice but to transfer Huo Yuhao and the others back to Mu Jin's class. However, they did not see Mu Jin in Class 3 and could only wait until the next day to report to Class 3.

Upon learning of this, Nanmen Yun'er also chose to leave Class 2 and transfer to Class 3 with Huo Yuhao.

After dinner, Huo Yuhao began to prepare for the next part of the plan. In the half year from the end of the freshman assessment to the end of the academic year, he needed to make full preparations to go to the far north and another place - the core area of the Star Dou Great Forest!

After arriving at Shrek Academy, his second spirit, as described in the original story, remained unsettled. Instead, he used his third spirit, the Grim Reaper, during the freshman assessment.

With his current foundation and luck, it wouldn't be a big problem for him to work with Tianmeng to fool the Ice Emperor. However, he is also struggling with whether or not to choose the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion as the second martial soul, following the original plot.

The powerful skills derived from the Ice Emperor and the Snow Emperor who appeared in the later storyline are undoubtedly the signature abilities of the original Huo Gua in the later stages, but based on this level alone, it is impossible for him to have a chance to compete with Buddha in the future.

Even if you didn't abduct Emperor Di Tian, let alone Emperor Bingdi and Emperor Xuedi, it wouldn't work. The Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King Martial Soul wasn't enough to bring about a qualitative change at the god level.

As for the Dragon God, there's no need to even think about it. The half that's asleep is fine, but the other half is currently imprisoned in the God Realm. Unless he's courting death and goes up to the God Realm to try and release it.

Without any cheat codes or time-travel advantages over this version, Huo Yuhao could only rely on the original owner's luck and his prophetic abilities from a god-like perspective.

"Yuhao, don't think too much about it for now. Let's take it one step at a time." In the sea of consciousness, Bibi Dong and Tianmeng Ice Silkworm spoke up in unison to comfort him.

"That's all we can do." Huo Yuhao sighed softly, wandering the night market streets of Shrek City. In the end, he was still too insignificant.

"Huh?" Just as Huo Yuhao was strolling along the brightly lit street, a beautiful figure in a nearby bar caught his attention.

Mu Jin's expression was bitter. Empty wine bottles were scattered on her table. Despite winning the bet against Zhou Yi during the freshman assessment, she still couldn't get the heart of the man she wanted.

Just as Huo Yuhao had told her beforehand, Zhou Yi and that man had already become husband and wife. The innocent feelings of their youth had ultimately vanished. She gave up the idea of having that man tailor-make a soul tool for her and only accepted the soul bone that she deserved.

Even more tragically, despite her own class taking two of the top three spots in the freshman assessment, she was still targeted by the Soul Guidance Department, which belonged to that man, and was assigned to Class 3, which mainly consisted of support-type students. Several of her best students were poached and became Zhou Yi's students.

She suffered greatly. Zhou Yi, who increased the graduation rate of students from the Foreign Languages Department by constantly expelling students, always managed to ride on her head despite her diligent teaching of every student. Her teaching theories could never compete with the lap-running training methods that Zhou Yi and his ilk had inherited from a great master from ten thousand years ago.

Even at Shrek Academy, which is supposed to be glorious, the competition among faculty and staff is too fierce, and many teachers do not act like teachers should.

As the saying goes, a teacher's duty is to impart knowledge, teach skills, and resolve doubts. If a teacher's primary responsibility is no longer to teach students wholeheartedly, but instead to scheme and fight for their own teaching performance, then what kind of teacher ethics is there to speak of?

Mu Jin chuckled self-deprecatingly. Having been assigned to Class 3, which consisted entirely of support-oriented students, she knew she wouldn't be able to compete with Zhou Yi for many years to come, so there was no need for her to fight for anything anymore.

Fortunately, there was Ning Tian in Class 3, which prevented her from completely breaking down.

"Teacher Mu, why are you drinking so much?" Huo Yuhao walked over and sat down opposite Mu Jin.

"Yuhao?" Mu Jin suddenly looked up, then seemed to remember something and quickly asked, "How did it go? Did Wu Feng get into trouble with Zhou Yi in Class One today?"

It's important to know that Wu Feng's team was the one that defeated Wang Dong's team, who were under Zhou Yi's tutelage, to win the championship.

It was clear that Mu Jin still cared about them; Huo Yuhao couldn't help but feel that he hadn't misjudged her.

"Uh, well... we've all applied to change classes: me, Fatty, Xiao Cui, Wu Feng, and Yun'er." Huo Yuhao scratched his head. "We still want to continue learning from you in the future, and we hope Teacher Mu will accept us."

Upon hearing the bombshell news from Huo Yuhao, Mu Jin was initially incredulous and instinctively asked, "Why?"

"I think there's something wrong with Zhou Yi's teaching." Huo Yuhao rubbed his nose. "I don't want to be labeled the class monitor by a bunch of people in her class, working myself to the bone every day, being bossed around by her, and then having to run laps every day after that."

Upon hearing Huo Yuhao's words, Mu Jin was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter through her tears. She knew that what the boy said was true, after all, he was so lazy.

"Teacher Mu looks best when she smiles!" Huo Yuhao smiled along with her. "I love Teacher Mu's classes. Not only is she a great teacher, but she's also very attractive. I want to see her every day."

Upon hearing this, Mu Jin rolled her eyes at him, her pretty face flushed slightly under the influence of alcohol, giving her a charming and alluring appearance.

"I knew you were a pervert!"

Fueled by alcohol, Mu Jin talked to Huo Yuhao about many work-related matters, including being deliberately ostracized and targeted by the Soul Guidance Department. As she spoke, her voice choked with emotion.

Most of the time, Huo Yuhao simply listened quietly. In fact, this was true not only for Shrek Academy, but also for many other academies. However, if these inside stories were to come out of Shrek Academy's teachers, it would definitely have a significant impact on their image as educators.

During this time, Huo Yuhao was also forced to drink several bottles of alcohol. Although he disliked the smell of alcohol, the original owner of the body clearly had the potential to be a god of wine. After several bottles, he didn't even feel very drunk.

"It's getting late, Teacher Mu, let me take you home." Huo Yuhao looked out at the bright moonlight, roughly calculated the time, and said to Mu Jin, who was slumped on the table, completely drunk. He still needed to hurry back to feed those girls.

"Mmm...okay..." Mu Jin mumbled as he carried her on his back. Her youthful beauty inevitably attracted the attention of many drinkers, but when they saw her Shrek teacher uniform, they dispelled some of their bad thoughts.

Huo Yuhao dared not just leave her here; what if there were a few reckless, lecherous thugs?

The residences of Shrek's outer court teachers are not located within the academy, but are specially allocated apartments in Shrek City. Only inner court teachers are qualified to live in the inner court residential area.

It took Huo Yuhao quite a while to carry Mu Jin back to her residence. Seeing her lying on the bed looking disheveled, Huo Yuhao could only fetch some hot water to help her wake up a little.

"As expected, drunk people are the hardest to please!" Huo Yuhao couldn't help but complain, thinking of his father from his previous life.

"Yuhao..." Mu Jin slowly opened her beautiful eyes, sat up against the headboard, and called out groggily.

"I'm here. Now that you're awake, could you use your soul power to expel some of the alcohol?" Huo Yuhao turned back, squatted down, and waved his hand in front of Mu Jin as he asked.

"Yuhao, I'm asking you... Am I pretty?" Mu Jin's beautiful eyes were glazed over, her red lips parted slightly, and she exhaled a strong smell of alcohol.

"Beautiful, beautiful, Teacher Mu is the most beautiful teacher I have ever seen in the academy," Huo Yuhao praised in perfect unison.

"Then why doesn't he like me..." Mu Jin muttered unwillingly.

Huo Yuhao couldn't answer this question. In fact, he had never seen Zhou Yi take off her mask. But in terms of figure, Mu Jin was more charming.

"Yuhao...do you like me?" Mu Jin grabbed Huo Yuhao's collar, and the pungent smell of alcohol mixed with a strange fragrance sprayed onto Huo Yuhao's face.

Seeing the book's readership drop these past few days has been incredibly frustrating for the author, so I'm releasing some exciting new content to keep everyone entertained. Subscriptions have also reached the promised number, so the next step is simple! Let's unleash the full potential! This chapter actually underwent considerable censorship. (Group: 518902391)
