Chapter 101 Mark 15

When Tony first met Roy, he knew Roy was ruthless.

But he never expected that Roy, who seemed so gentle and harmless, had actually killed thousands of people.

After a moment of silence, he said to Jarvis, "Jarvis, report the data from last night's explosion site."

"Yes, sir!"

"Data shows that the explosion caused temperatures exceeding 3000 degrees Celsius, which could rapidly vaporize everything within a 12.5-yard diameter."

Jarvis immediately reported to his superior.

"No bomb debris has been found within three miles of the Grand Theatre?" Tony continued to ask.

Jarvis replied, "Yes, sir."

"The projection shows Happy's condition after the explosion," Tony said, frowning.

Without any hesitation, Jarvis immediately projected Happy's condition.

The projection showed that Happy's gaze and right hand were pointing in the same place.

"A bomb that isn't a bomb? What is this thing?"

Tony reached the intersection of Happy's line of sight and the extension of his finger, and noticed that what Happy was looking at and pointing at was a soldier's ID tag. He immediately asked, "Are there any military victims?"

"Data shows there were no military victims at the scene," Jarvis replied.

"Pull up the temperature distribution chart and take the 3000 degrees Celsius factor into account," Tony said quickly.

"Oracle Cloud has completed its analysis and is now accessing satellite data to map thermal events over the past year."

As Jarvis responded, he displayed the compiled thermal events on the map.

"Exclude locations where the Mandarin attacked," Tony continued.

Over the past year, there have been 20 to 30 heat events in the continental United States with temperatures exceeding 3000 degrees Celsius, occurring on the East and West coasts and in various states in the Midwest.

Two of these cases were also related to Roy.

That was when he used Amaterasu against Ivan Vanko and the others, as well as Corvus Glaive.

After excluding the locations attacked by the Mandarin, only 11 thermal events remain.

Tony quickly browsed through the 11 thermal events.

He eliminated several cases after just a quick glance at the event location and data.

His attention quickly turned to the bombing in Rose Hill, Tennessee.

"This is it. Can you be sure the Mandarin didn't do this bombing?"

Tony asked Jarvis about it.

Jarvis projected the casualties and related news reports of the Rose Hill bombing and replied, "This bombing predates any known Mandarin attack."

"The incident was a suicide by detonation of explosives. The thermal characteristics of the explosion are similar to those of last night's explosion, with a temperature of 3000 degrees Celsius."

Reports indicate that the bombing was carried out by a soldier named Chad Davis, and resulted in the deaths of six people.

Tony turned to Roy: "Both bombings involved military personnel. I don't think it's a coincidence. What do you think?"

Roy replied, "Based on the information we have so far, it shouldn't be a coincidence."

Tony teased Jarvis, saying slowly, "Jarvis, have you ever been to Tennessee?"

As an artificial intelligence, Jarvis certainly couldn't have been to Tennessee.

However, it knew exactly why Tony was joking with it, and immediately replied, "Coordinates have been entered into the suit system."

Tony nodded in satisfaction and turned off the projector with a gesture.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Jarvis immediately projected the surveillance footage from the gate.

"Why is someone knocking on the door? I just threatened a terrorist leader; we should be on full alert now!"

Tony frowned, his face full of displeasure.

"Sir, this is all I can do, because you revealed your home address when you threatened the Mandarin."

Jarvis replied.

Now, not only are there visitors at the gate, but there are also several helicopters overhead, filming the villa from all angles. These helicopters are news helicopters from various channels.

Tony immediately activated a suit of armor.

In the movie, suffering from severe anxiety, he frantically manufactured suits after the Battle of New York, upgrading them all the way to the Mark 42.

Because of Roy, he did not suffer from severe anxiety disorder like in the movie.

Under Roy's watchful eye, Tony put on a suit numbered Mark 15.

Unlike the Mark 15 he knew, which was "sneaky," the Mark 15 Tony was wearing now was not a light black, light gold, or silver color scheme, but rather the usual red and gold paint job.

The Mark 15 in the movie is the first suit in the series of Iron Man suits to have an additional name.

Moreover, the Mark 15 in the movie is a suit specifically designed for stealth missions, capable of blocking all radar and evading all known early warning systems.

Because it was designed for covert missions, the Mark 15's combat capabilities were somewhat reduced, but its speed and stealth performance far surpassed any previous suit.

Before Roy could ask, Tony took the initiative to introduce the current Mark 15.

"The Mark 15 is my latest masterpiece. It has remote control and automatic assembly capabilities. It can be disassembled into multiple parts, each with its own independent power and control system."

"More importantly, it also has a motor neuron capture system that can capture my brainwaves through the microchip on my body, recognize control commands, and can instantly mimic any of my movements."

"In addition, I upgraded the inner lining armor to give it the function of protecting against nuclear radiation, so that it can work for a long time in nuclear contaminated areas, extreme temperatures, and extreme environments."

"As for underwater operations, that goes without saying."

"In addition, this suit can also perform suborbital flight, and its endurance is also greater than that of previous suits."

"In terms of weapon systems, in addition to conventional weapons such as hand-mounted arc pulse cannons, chest-mounted cluster cannons, forearm missiles, and mini missiles, I also added electromagnetic weapons and small energy shield generators."

"To meet different combat needs, it can also carry rockets, portable laser weapons, shoulder-mounted machine guns, and more."

Weapons such as ultrasonic waves, alloy bayonets, cryogenic cannons, and tranquilizer darts.

"In terms of armor materials, in addition to the original gold-titanium alloy, I also added special ceramics to further enhance the protective capabilities of the suit, allowing it to withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures."

"Most importantly, the energy system has been upgraded. The suit is equipped with a directional energy reactor, which can transfer the energy of the small arc reactor to other parts of the armor or the weapon system, thereby improving the armor's firepower output and flight speed."

"Not only that, this suit can also be connected to the home power grid for charging."

As always, Tony beamed with pride when talking about his newly manufactured suit, just like a child showing off a new toy.

After listening to Tony's explanation, Roy's first reaction was that this Mark 15 suit was similar to the Mark 42 in the movie.

The numbers are exactly the same.

If there is any difference, it is that the paint jobs are different.

"Besides the number Mark 15, does this suit have any other names?" Roy asked.

"No," Tony replied quickly.

"Since there isn't one, let's just call him Prodigal Son," Roy said with a smile.

"A prodigal son?"

"That's a good name, much better than Mark 15."

Tony liked the name very much and immediately had Jarvis add the codename "Prodigal Son" to Mark 15 in the database and suit system.

It's normal that he likes the nickname "Prodigal Son".

Because this code name was conceived by him in the cinematic universe.
