Chapter 351 This is fair
"Without further ado, Darren."
Hope reached out one hand to pick up the pen, while her other hand remained pressed tightly against her chest, as if afraid that Azu inside might do something outrageous again.
She signed her name at the end of the document in a flamboyant style, then tossed the document back to Darren.
Darren picked up the document, carefully checked that the signature was correct, and finally a satisfied smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you so much for your support, Hope. You will always be my strongest support."
"Since you're not feeling well, I won't disturb your rest any longer. Shall I have the driver wait for you downstairs?"
"No need, I have my own car," Hope said, dismissing him.
"Okay. Drink more hot water and take care of yourself." Darren feigned concern, then strode out of the private room with two bodyguards.
"Click".
The door to the private room slowly closed, and the footsteps in the corridor gradually faded away until they disappeared completely.
Hope's tense nerves finally relaxed after confirming that Darren had completely left.
She released her hand from her chest, her fingers trembling as she fumbled around for a while.
He grabbed the man by the back of his collar and pulled him up in front of him.
Hope glared at Azu, who was suspended in mid-air, with a mixture of shame and anger.
Having regained his sight, Azu looked up at Hope, whose face was flushed, and spread his hands.
"I'm sorry, Hope. The situation was very complicated just now, and I was helpless."
Hope gritted her teeth as she listened.
Logically speaking, after being "offended" to this extent, she should immediately get angry, yell at him, or even slap the jerk away.
But looking at Ah Zu's adorable and miniature appearance, she couldn't bring herself to be angry.
Even... in the tense and exciting environment just now, she actually felt a shameful sense of pleasure.
"God, what am I thinking?!"
Hope shook her head vigorously, trying to banish those crazy and wanton thoughts from her mind.
"What's wrong, Hope? Is your neck bothering you?" Azu asked knowingly.
Hope glared at him, about to speak.
"Hope? Has Darren left?"
Suddenly, Hank Pym's faint, mosquito-like shouts came from the gap in the sofa.
Hope then suddenly remembered that her father was still huddled in the crevice of the sofa.
She quickly composed herself, placed Azu on the carpet, and then carefully found Old Pim, who was only a few centimeters in size, between the two cushions.
Hope placed old Pym on the carpet as well, and the two stood side by side.
Ah Zu turned the shrinking and magnifying lamp in his hand, pointed it at the two people, and slid his thumb toward the "+" sign.
"Buzz—!"
An orange beam of light swept across.
Azu and Pym's bodies instantly swelled up and returned to their normal size.
"You rude bastard!" Old Pym exploded the moment he regained his original size. "Do you know how dangerous it is to shrink someone without warning?! What if Hope accidentally stomps me to death?!"
"Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures, Dr. Pym." Azu patted old Pym on the shoulder, ignoring his anger. "If Darren had seen you here, do you think you'd still be standing here complaining to me?"
Old Pym snorted and didn't pursue the matter further, instead beginning to savor the shrinking process he had just experienced.
He looked down at his own body, then at the flashlight in Azu's hand, his eyes filled with amazement.
"It's incredible... This is the first time in my life I've shrunk like this... It feels amazing. Honestly, I'd almost forgotten what it feels like to shrink."
After he finished speaking, he turned and looked at his daughter, who was standing to the side with a strange expression.
"What's wrong, Hope? You don't look well. Is it really because you're on your period?"
Hope glared fiercely at Azu, who was watching the show from the sidelines.
"Yes, Father. But I'm fine now." Hope gritted her teeth, forcefully steer the conversation back on track, not giving old Pym a chance to press further.
"You heard what Darren just said! One month! He'll deliver the goods within a month!"
"We're running out of time!"
She held out her palm to Azu, her tone firm: "So now, you must trust Daniel. This is our only chance to stop Darren."
Hank Pym remained silent.
Although he was shocked and impressed by the skills Ah Zu displayed, his perception of Ah Zu also changed drastically.
But deep down, he remains that stubborn old man who considers Pym particles his exclusive property.
The Starr Corporation is too large. If they were to gain control of the Pym Particles, the consequences could be far more dire than those caused by Darren Cross.
"Mr. Wu, the technology you demonstrated has truly broadened my horizons," Pym said slowly. "Regarding your proposed collaborative technology development, I believe it is a very promising topic. Once we resolve the Darren issue, we can sit down and properly plan out the framework for future cooperation."
"But now, time is of the essence. We must deal with Darren first."
Old Pym walked to the table, picked up a pen, quickly wrote down an address and a list of items on a sticky note, and then handed it to Azu.
"This is the address of an abandoned warehouse outside San Francisco. Mr. Wu, since you're willing to help..."
"Please send these materials, centrifuges, and several quantum scanning instruments there. Leave the rest to me."
Old Pym was clearly terrible at acting. His evasive eyes and stiff tone practically screamed, "I don't want to share Pym Particles with you, I just want to freeload off your resources."
Azu saw through it, and so did Hope, the seasoned businesswoman.
Hope's face immediately darkened.
She felt extremely embarrassed in front of her father because of his calculating and treacherous behavior.
"Father! What do you mean by this?!" Hope demanded angrily. "Daniel came to help us with good intentions, and you're trying to fool him with this low-down scheme!"
She turned around, ready to continue her outburst, but Azu's warm, large hand gently grasped her wrist.
"No problem, Dr. Pym." Azu readily put the note into his pocket. "All requirements will be handled exactly as you instruct. Within three days, all materials and equipment will be secretly delivered to this address. The Starr Corporation will not interfere with your production process."
Hope looked at Azu in surprise: "Daniel, you can't agree to him. It's so unfair to you. You've given up resources and are getting nothing in return."
"No, Hope. It's fair."
Azu gently placed his hands on Hope's shoulders, gazing tenderly into her apologetic eyes.
"For me, the moment I met you, I received something far more precious than all of those things combined."
He didn't say exactly what it was, but his eyes clearly conveyed the answer to Hope's mind.
Hope's breathing became completely disordered.
She felt her heart had completely crumbled. The man before her was so perfect, it was as if God had made a gift just for her.

The temperature in the air seemed to rise sharply, and an ambiguous spark danced back and forth between their intersecting gazes.
Old Pym, standing to the side, had a face as black as the bottom of a pot.
