"Quiet! Quiet! All of you shut up, you noisy parasites!"

The light and shadow above the arena distorted for a moment, and the Grandmaster's huge holographic projection, hundreds of meters high, appeared above everyone's heads, with a smile of lingering satisfaction on his face.

"I'm very grateful to all the players for the thrilling killing spree they put on today! However, even the most exciting shows need a break!"

The Celestial Venerable paused for a moment, a shrewd smile appearing on his lips.

"Therefore, I hereby declare that today's match is over! Both teams will have a full day to rest."

"The fifth match will begin promptly the day after tomorrow!"

This statement immediately sparked a strong protest from the audience.

"Are you kidding me! I flew all the way from eighteen star systems, and you're telling me we're not fighting today?!"

"Keep it up! I have plenty of money to bet, let them keep playing!"

The Celestial Venerable seemed to have anticipated this reaction, and his smile grew even brighter.

"Oh, and by the way, just a heads-up," the Grandmaster continued, ignoring the protests, "all the tickets you have now are invalid after today's match. You'll need to buy new tickets for the match the day after tomorrow."

"Furthermore, given that the competition was far more exciting than expected... ticket prices for the day after tomorrow will be increased by 300%!"

The audience erupted in chaos, with shouts and curses filling the air.

"You damned vampire!"

"Robbery! Three hundred percent?! Why don't you go rob the Kree Empire?!"

"Go to hell! You heartless businessman! I absolutely won't buy from you!"

The Grandmaster picked at his ear and shrugged nonchalantly: "If you don't have money, go home and watch the broadcast! Poor bastards don't deserve to sit in my arena! Tickets are limited, first come, first served!"

After he finished speaking, the holographic projection of the Grandmaster gradually dissipated amidst the noise.

Helpless, despite cursing the Celestial Venerable, most of the alien tycoons still obediently took out their credits and began frantically grabbing tickets.

After all, a cosmic war of this magnitude is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Azu chuckled as he looked in the direction where the Celestial Venerable had disappeared, thinking, "That old fellow's methods for accumulating wealth are quite impressive, but he probably hasn't forgotten that we get 80% of the profits."

Subsequently, Thanos's and Azu's teams also returned to their spaceships docked at the Port of Nothingness through portals.

The rest cabin was brightly lit, and although everyone's nerves were still on edge, the atmosphere had relaxed considerably.

Peter was held down in the medical pod by Tony to have his wounds treated; a smart robotic arm was rapidly stitching up the lacerations in his arm.

Thor sat there with an air of authority, holding a large glass of strong liquor he had rummaged through the spaceship's cellar, and gulped it down.

"Ha! That was great!" Thor wiped the wine stains from his beard. "It'll be my turn to go on the field the day after tomorrow. I promise you, no matter what kind of monster they send out, my Stormbreaker will chop off its head!"

"We can't let our guard down," Steve said in a deep voice. "Two to two is only a temporary tie. Thanos still has three people left. And what I'm more concerned about is that one of them hasn't shown up yet."

Azu stood to the side, taking the fresh milk that Nebula had heated, perfectly playing the role of a pillar of leadership.

"The captain is right," Azu said gently, calming everyone down. "But there's no need to be too anxious. No matter who the enemy is, as long as we stand united, victory will surely belong to Earth. You all get some rest; I'll take care of the tough battles ahead."

Everyone cast trusting glances their way.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the void.

The atmosphere inside the Sanctuary II battleship was somewhat oppressive.

Thanos sat on his towering throne, like a majestic and immovable statue, without uttering a word.

Two to two.

This score is a source of hope for humanity on Earth, but a tremendous disgrace for the dominant power that reigns supreme in the universe.

To make matters worse, they are now down to one player.

This means that the Dark Order has no room for error in the upcoming matches.

Standing below are Ebony Maw and Starfox Eros, who has just been teleported back.

Eros's wounds had received basic medical treatment, but traces of the sword aura still remained on his face.

"I lost, Thanos," Eros said calmly.

There was still no sound from the throne.

Eros stepped forward, looked Thanos straight in the eyes, and raised his voice.

"Our initial agreement was simply that I would play one match for you. You didn't require me to win. Now, I've done my best, and I've kept my promise."

Seeing that Thanos did not respond, Eros continued, "Now, it's your turn to keep your promise. Don't touch my planets, and don't harm my people. If I find out you've broken your oath, I swear, I will use every means at my disposal to make sure you never have a moment's peace."

The air in the hall seemed to freeze.

Ebony Throat narrowed his eyes slightly, ready to make a move at any moment.

Anyone who dares to speak to Thanos in this tone usually doesn't survive the next second.

However, Thanos did not fly into a rage.

He stared at Eros for a moment, then slowly nodded.

Seeing this, Eros breathed a long sigh of relief.

He knew that although Thanos was a ruthless tyrant, he was still very committed to his word.

"Very good." Eros turned around, as if a huge burden had been lifted off his shoulders. "Well then, I wish you good luck in the match the day after tomorrow. I have to go back to my planet; my girls are waiting for me. I don't want to stay in this damn place for another second."

After saying that, Eros walked out of the main control room without looking back, his steps as light as a prince preparing to pick up Cinderella.

Watching Eros's departing figure, Ebony Maw finally couldn't help but speak.

He took a graceful step forward and bowed slightly.

"Great father, please forgive my offense. But Lord Eros' defeat has put us in an extremely dangerous situation. We cannot afford to lose a single match from now on."

Ebony Throat's voice was filled with suppressed anger.

"That damned Mephisto, he said he'd provide three top-tier warriors. Red Hood and Iron Judge have already fought. But where's the third one? We haven't even seen a shadow of him."

"The devil is indeed a liar and a fraud. He deceived you, Father," Ebony Maw cursed through gritted teeth.

"I never expect loyalty from the devil, Ebony Maw."

When faced with Ebony Maw's outburst, Thanos simply raised his hand indifferently to stop his complaints.

"Deception and lies are their way of survival. I only care about results."

He clenched his left fist, which was adorned with the Infinity Gauntlet, and the glint of the gem shone through it.

"Relying on others will ultimately lead to failure. The balance of the universe can only be achieved by ourselves."

As soon as Thanos finished speaking, a ball of hellfire suddenly ignited from nowhere below.

"It is not a good habit to gossip about a gentleman's reputation behind his back, Mr. Ebony Throat."
