Become a Homelander and a Marvel superstar
Chapter 6 I Know Who You Are
Thor, the great prince of Asgard, the god of thunder, stood awkwardly next to his brother.
He carried Thor's hammer in one hand and a container shimmering with blue light in the other, which contained the Tesseract.
"We're leaving." Thor looked at everyone present. "Thank you for your help. Asgard owes you a favor. I'll take care of the Tesseract and... him."
Loki, gagged, could only make angry "uh-uh" sounds.
"Okay, goodbye, blonde sweetheart." Tony waved his hand. "Next time, bring your Bambi brother, and remember to bring a Christmas present."
Steve nodded seriously: "He must pay the price for his actions."
"He will." Thor's expression was grave.
He activated the Cosmic Cube, and blue light enveloped the two of them.
Just as the light reached its peak and they were about to teleport, Loki's gaze swept over everyone and finally landed firmly on Homelander's back.
In those eyes, besides hatred, there was also... an inescapable fear.
A flash of light, and Thor and Loki vanished.
If Loki was the "external problem," then now, only the "internal problem" remains in the room.
All eyes—Stark, Steve, Natasha, Clint, Banner—were fixed on the red and blue figure.
"Alright, the main character from 'The Explosive Point' is gone." Stark walked over, arms crossed. "Now, Stars and Stripes boy... can we talk?"
Wu Yanzu slowly turned around.
"Of course, Mr. Stark." His voice was gentle and magnetic. "I suppose you have many questions."
"Oh, you're right." A deep voice came from not far away.
Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D., strode in, wearing his signature black trench coat.
His single eye locked onto Wu Yanzu like an eagle's.
"The people of New York thank you for your 'performance,' Mr. Homelander," Fury said, his tone devoid of gratitude. "But I don't like surprises."
"And you," Fury's one eye narrowed, "are the biggest surprise of the day."
"Sir," Wu Yanzu greeted with a smile and a nod, "Nice to meet you. I suppose you're the boss here?"
"My name is Nick Fury. Please come with me." Fury didn't waste any more words and directly extended an invitation, "Let's talk somewhere else."
Sky carrier, circular conference room.
At this moment, sitting around the long table in the conference room were the highest-ranking officials of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the core members of the Avengers.
Fury sat in the head seat, his single eye appearing particularly sharp under the light.
Agent Maria Hill stood behind Fury.
Tony Stark, with his legs crossed, gave him a "get started your performance" look.
Steve Rogers sat upright with a serious expression.
Natasha Romanov, on the other hand, was like a black panther poised to pounce; she sat in the shadows, silent, observing.
Bruce Banner and Clint Barton were not involved; they needed rest and evaluation.
"Today's performance was truly spectacular, Mr. Homelander..." Fury's voice was icy. "You were just... too perfect. So perfect it was unreal."
"Director Fury," Wu Yanzu said, still smiling, "I just did what I was supposed to do."
"Is that so?" Fury sneered. "Then you certainly have a lot to do."
"Alright, Nick," Tony Stark said, somewhat annoyed with Fury, "don't be so heartless. This guy, no matter how much of a scene-stealer he is, he did save my life and this city. So... Homelander, who are you anyway? Where did you come from? And who designed this outfit of yours? Nice fabric."
"I'm here to help, Mr. Stark," Homelander began his prepared speech. "I come from a very far place..."
"A place that's really far away?" Fury interrupted him. "Is it Smallville, Kansas, or Krypton?"
"Nick!" Steve called out, clearly disapproving of Fury's interrogation. "He saved everyone. We should at least give him respect."
"Respect is earned, Captain. Not through a fancy costume." Fury's one eye shifted to Steve, then back to Homelander's face. "I'm asking you questions. Are you an alien? S.H.I.E.L.D. has never discovered a superhuman like you on Earth. Who do you work for? What's your purpose here?"
The air around him seemed to freeze.
Black Widow stood not far away, her hand never leaving her weapon.
Thor has returned to Asgard, and Wu Yanzu knows that these people in front of him are nothing but dirt chickens and dogs to him.
But as an actor, he felt compelled to act!
And right now, it's his first performance, the most crucial performance since he came from another world.
"I..." He was just about to start making up that classic script about the "M78 Nebula".
"Sir!"
Agent Maria Hill strode over, holding a tablet computer in her hand, her expression extremely strange.
"Sir, you'd better take a look at this."
Fury impatiently took the tablet, but when his gaze swept across the screen, his one eye suddenly widened.
"What did you see?" Stark asked curiously as he leaned closer, and when he saw what was on the screen, he was stunned.
"Wow...this is really...unbelievable."
"Alright, I know who you are." Fury's voice was full of pressure.
——??
Wu Yanzu's mind went blank for half a second.
What?
Did he find out?
I know nothing! I'm a time traveler!
"So, let me explain, Mr. Homelander."
Nick Fury slammed the tablet computer onto the table and slid it in front of Wu Yanzu.
On the screen is a file.
Wu Yanzu's pupils contracted slightly.
The file contained a passport photo.
The person in the photo has the exact same blond hair, the same handsome face, and the same deep blue eyes as him.
The only difference is that the person in the photo is wearing a Columbia University T-shirt, and their smile... is very youthful.
Name: Anthony Starr
Date of birth: April 1992, 10
Status: Missing, presumed dead
Resume:
Columbia University, Literature Department, Freshman.
Parents: Edward Starr and Martha Starr (founders of the Starr Group, both of whom died in a plane crash three years ago).
Event Log: On October 25, 2011, Anthony Starr was attending a private yacht party in the Hamptons, Long Island when a sudden storm struck and his yacht sank. Of all the passengers and crew, only Anthony Starr's body... was never found.
Wu Yanzu's brain stopped functioning for a moment.
Anthony Starr...
Anthony Starr?!
That name... isn't it the actor who played "Homelander" in "The Boys" in his world?!
In his previous life, when he was still a movie star, he even studied the performances of this colleague!
"Damn it..." he cursed inwardly.
"Parallel worlds...this is the real parallel world! This world not only has Marvel, but also people exactly like those in my world!"
All of this happened in the blink of an eye.
Wu Yanzu's mind raced thousands of times in that single second.
"The original script for the Space Garrison... is scrapped!"
