The four were suddenly thrown high into the air, and then, amidst Nami and the children's terrified screams, they fell like meteors, crashing heavily into a large tree in the backyard of the mansion!

Luffy climbed out of the shallow crater he'd created, dusted himself off, and obliviously shouted, "Successful landing!"

Nami groaned in pain as she got up from the ground, her head covered in dirt and her hair disheveled: "Yeah, right! It hurts so much!"

Ronan sprang to his feet with a flourish, a knowing smile on his face. "What a strange adventure."

Kaya, who was listening to Usopp's boasting from the second-floor window, was startled when she saw the group suddenly descend from the sky. She gasped, "Are you...are you alright?"

Usopp, who was in the tree, saw that it was Luffy and his crew, and quickly explained to Kaya:

"N-nothing, nothing! They all came from afar after hearing about my exploits! New members of the Usopp Pirates!"

Luffy stood up, interrupting Usopp's clumsy lie.

He looked at Kaya, his expression serious:

"No, I'm not a new member!"

"I need your help with something!"

Kaya looked at Luffy with a puzzled expression: "Help? Me?"

Luffy got straight to the point, stating his purpose without any beating around the bush: "Yes! We need a ship!"

Just then, a man in a sharp suit walked over with a calm expression.

Ronan took a closer look and instantly became alert—this was none other than Kuro, the minor boss from the earlier episodes, the pirate who had attempted to "retire" and had lost his ambition.

Chloe pushed up her round-framed glasses on the bridge of her nose with her palm, a hint of displeasure flashing in her eyes:

"Gentlemen, this is truly an awkward situation. What are you doing here, barging into this residence without permission?"

Luffy looked at him curiously and asked bluntly, "Who is that guy?"

Kaya, standing by the window, looked at Kro with a hint of unease and anxiety in her eyes: "Th-that...these people are...?"

Kro's movements were refined yet carried an unquestionable command.

He adjusted his glasses again: "There's no need to say more now. I'll explain the reasons to you later. Now, please leave!"

Luffy completely ignored his attempts to expel him and stated his purpose directly: "I said, we want a ship!"

Kro's expression remained unchanged, his tone cold and arrogant: "No!"

He turned his gaze to Usopp, who was hiding in the tree, and a sinister smile curled at the corner of his mouth:

"Usopp, I've heard rumors about you. You're quite famous in the village."

Usopp became immediately proud upon hearing the praise:

"Really? You can call me Captain Usopp too!"

Kro's face was grim, and he let out two contemptuous snorts:

"The captain?" Then, his tone suddenly turned cold and sarcastic: "I've also heard about your father."

Usopp's face turned deathly pale, freezing on his lips: "What?"

Kaya, standing by the window, looked anxiously at Chloe, trying to stop her: "Please stop talking!"

Kuro completely ignored him, his tone filled with humiliation and mockery, striking at Usopp's sore spot:

"You're nothing but the son of a filthy pirate. I wouldn't be surprised by anything you do. But could you please stay away from my young lady?"

Kuro's harsh words made Usopp's face turn extremely ugly. He clenched his fists and said indignantly, "Who are you calling dirty?"

Kro completely ignored his anger, pushed up his glasses, and spoke with a condescending, condescending tone:

"You and Miss are from completely different worlds. Is your goal money? Tell me, how much do you want?"

Kaya, standing by the window, finally lost her temper and glared angrily at Kuro: "You've gone too far! Apologize to Usopp right now!"

"Why should I apologize to such a barbaric man, young lady?"

Kro completely disregarded Kaya's anger, his tone as cold as if stating a fact:

"I'm just stating the facts! I really feel sorry for you, Usopp. You must hate him a lot, right?"

I hate you, you scoundrel father who abandoned your family and left the village, valuing your treasure more than your family!

Ronan, standing to the side, looked at Crowe's righteous and eloquent words, and then at Usopp's furious gaze, and actually felt that Crowe's words made some sense.

From a secular ethical perspective, everything Crowe said was true.

Yasopp did indeed abandon his wife and children, and Usopp was indeed the poor man left behind.

Kuro simply used the cruelest language to dig out the pain that might exist in Usopp's subconscious.

But Usopp clearly couldn't stand others criticizing his father like that, as he was his only pride and source of strength.

He roared angrily, "You're not allowed to say another bad word about my dad!"

With a roar, Usopp leaped down from the tree, landing firmly on the ground, and glared fiercely at Kuro.

Looking at the furious and irrational Usopp, Kuro revealed a playful, all-encompassing sense of control:

"Why are you so agitated? This is the time you should be using your best lying skills."

He spoke slowly, with a sarcastic tone:

"For example, you could lie and say your dad is a merchant traveling, or you could simply say you're not related to him by blood..."

Hearing this, Usopp's dignity was completely shattered. He could no longer bear it and shouted, "Shut up!" Then, in a fit of rage, he threw a punch that slammed hard into Kuro's face!

Kro was knocked to the ground, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, but instead of anger, he let out a mocking sneer:

"Look, they immediately resort to violence; like father, like son!"

Usopp glared furiously down at Kuro, whom he had punched to the ground, and roared with red eyes:

"Shut up! I've always been proud that my dad was a pirate! Proud that he was a brave warrior of the sea!"

You're right, I do love to brag, but I also have the blood of a pirate!

This honor is absolutely genuine! I am the son of a pirate!

Crouch, lying on the ground, propped himself up with his hands, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, yet he let out an even more biting and sarcastic laugh:

"Are pirates just brave warriors of the sea? That's quite a far-fetched argument. But it's certainly true that you inherited a savage bloodline."

He stared coldly at Usopp, his tone full of disdain:

"He either boasts indiscriminately, resorts to violence when angry, and in the end—he even went so far as to get close to the young lady for her money!"

Usopp was enraged by Kuro's malicious slander and retorted, "You're talking nonsense! I am..."

Kuro didn't give him a chance to explain, interrupting, "As for why you're plotting such wicked things, the fact that your father is a pirate is enough reason!"

Usopp could no longer contain himself. He sprang into action again, grabbing Kuro by the collar and raising his fist angrily: "Haven't you said enough?!"
