Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!
Chapter 601 Oh no, oh no, this is terrible!
In the scene, Lynn said:
"It's almost time."
This statement piqued Wutian's curiosity, causing him to stop moving and ask a couple of questions.
Lynn's gaze did not fall on Wutian's gun, but rather went over his shoulder and landed on the void behind him.
The figures of Wanxiang and Aldrick simultaneously emerged from the gray-white light the instant Wutian paused.
Wanxiang placed his hand on Wutian's shoulder, and Aldrick used alchemy. The three of them quickly exchanged a few moves.
Aldrick and Wanxiang kept launching sneak attacks on Wutian from within the domain. Wutian blocked them, but his wizard robes were still torn by Wanxiang.
Wu Tian did not linger after his robe was torn, as continuing the fight would be disadvantageous for him.
He holstered his gun and retreated, moving out of Lynn's attack range. Then he turned and, without hesitation, prepared to flee with the remaining members and demons.
Seeing Wutian summon a flying shuttle to escape, Marfa shouted from behind him, "Leader Wutian, take me with you!"
But Wutian did not turn back.
Marfa tried to follow, but three giant dragons emerged from the domain and converged around her, completely cutting off her escape route.
This scene drew gasps of surprise, and the wizards discussed amongst themselves, speculating about how many more tricks Lynn might have up his sleeve in his Stigmata Domain.
How come three more dragons of the Saint Mark rank have appeared?
Where did you get it from?
However, these dragons were clearly not undead; they must have been subdued through other means.
In the scene, Marfa calls out to Wutian, but Wutian ignores her and summons a flying shuttle to escape with everyone, leaving Marfa in despair.
Now the wizards watching finally understood why Marfa had died while Lynn was unharmed.
Judging from this situation, it seems that Lynn will eventually strike hard and kill Malfa, thus securing a complete victory!
Inside the teleportation hall, the wizards watching this scene erupted in excitement.
We won! Lord Lynn won!
A voice, barely suppressed, came from the crowd, coming from near the wall:
"Mentor Marfa colluded with the Chaos Egg to attack his own Stigmata, and he deserved to be killed. Why keep someone like that around?
The person next to him nodded: "Yes, Lord Lynn was acting in self-defense. Twenty-three Saint Marksmen were surrounding one person, and he still has the nerve to call himself a victim?"
"Oh no, she's dead, she can't speak anymore."
Someone else chimed in, "If she had just stayed at the academy and been her chief tutor, none of this would have happened."
"They insisted on resorting to these crooked and unethical methods, and now look what happened, they've run into a brick wall."
The men spoke in a lighthearted tone, clearly showing great contempt for the already deceased Marfa.
A grey-robed wizard said:
"Chief Marfa is an important fighting force of the academy. The position of chief instructor is not one that just anyone can hold. He is someone who ranks highly in the academy."
"She has so many apprentices and deacons under her command. Even if they were guilty, they should have been brought back to the academy for questioning before being dealt with. Lord Lynn simply killed them. Isn't that... a bit against the rules?"
He lowered his voice noticeably when he said the last sentence, clearly afraid of attracting the attention of the big shots.
A wizard in a dark robe scoffed, "Rules? Does Marfa follow any rules? If she did, she wouldn't have given away a soul-corroding ring as a gift."
"She conspired with the Chaos Egg to kill her own colleagues, and even treated her own students as tools. How can you expect her to follow the rules?"
He paused, a suppressed contempt in his voice:
"In a place like an academy, rules are meant to restrain people like us. For Stigmata of their caliber, rules are just..."
Before he could finish uttering the word "fart," a hand swiftly reached out and covered his mouth.
"Be careful what you say!"
The person covering his mouth spoke in a low, urgent voice: "The academy's rules might not apply to the powerful figures with Saint Marks, but they're still very effective for us lowly Karami!"
"If word gets out that you said that today, how will you live your life?"
He released his grip and added in a low voice:
"Watch your mouth, the big shots are all here, be careful what you say!"
The wizard who had spoken earlier realized he had made a mistake.
He turned his head and glanced in the direction where Cersei was standing, and saw that Cersei was looking at him with a faint smile on her lips.
The smile was gentle, but it was extremely cold in his eyes.
He forced a smile, but it looked worse than a grimace.
Oh no, oh no, this is great!
He's been targeted by the vice dean in charge of college discipline; he'll definitely be taught a lesson about "rules" later.
Cersei merely glanced at the wizard without speaking, then looked away.
The discussions in the teleportation hall continued, while some wizards who were on good terms with Marfa changed their expressions slightly.
Wutian led his men away, leaving Marfa behind; the outcome was predictable.
Some of Marfa's apprentices and deacons at the scene even quietly removed the insignia representing the Marfa faction from their bodies, completely severing ties.
It truly is a case of "when the tree falls, the monkeys scatter."
After viewing the image, a wizard skilled in "weapon crafting" discerned the key point and spoke up:
"The leader's robe is probably the key; once it's torn, he won't dare to continue fighting."
Another person spoke up: "The defensive power of that robe doesn't seem to be that of an ordinary magical artifact; that leader is very reliant on it."
Another person chimed in, "He probably has some special ability. As long as his robe isn't torn, he can still overpower Lynn. But once his robe is torn, he loses his confidence."
The discussion continued for a while, and the video continued to play.
When Marfa was suppressed by the three dragons and forced to stand before Lynn like a dead dog, the wizards in the teleportation hall were all filled with glee.
Marfa spoke those words:
"I regret not going all out to kill you when you were an apprentice, I regret not joining forces with Morpheus to kill you after you became a wizard, and I regret that I misjudged you."
The wizards watching were in an uproar. They hadn't expected that even now, Marfa was still so stubborn and regretted not killing Lynn back then.
From this perspective, keeping Marfa alive is indeed a menace; if we don't kill her, she might cause even more trouble in the future.
"Even at this point, she's still talking about this. How much resentment does this woman hold?"
Then, in the video, Marfa reveals a half-smile and says, "You won, but I didn't lose either."
This piqued the audience's curiosity once again.
Could it be that Malfa has some amazing trick up her sleeve? Even at this point, is she capable of turning the tide and winning?
Next, the two people in the video talk about the ring on Lynn's hand.
Lynn raised the ring in his hand, thanking Marfa for giving him such a nice gift.
Marfa retorted, "Good stuff? It really is good stuff, good stuff that will kill you!"
