Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!

Chapter 602 The Matter Ends

In the scene, after Marfa activates the ring, Lynn covers his forehead and sways.

Lynn looked pained and suddenly bent over, pressing his left hand to his forehead.

His breathing became rapid, and his body swayed as if he would collapse at any moment.

"What did you do?!"

"Stop—stop it now—"

His voice was hoarse and pained, as if he were enduring some kind of intense suffering.

A collective gasp filled the teleportation hall.

Someone whispered, "There's something wrong with that ring!"

The person next to him chimed in, "What good could it be that was sent by Marfa, our enemy? Lord Lynn was careless."

Another person spoke up: "It seems she's really prepared to fight to the death, even if it means her own demise, she'll drag Lord Lynn down with her."

In the scene, Malfa, who was originally like a dead dog, proudly explained the contingency plan he had left behind with the ring he gave him: the Soul-Eating Needle Crystal inside would corrode his soul.

A wizard whispered:

"Soul-devouring needle crystals... I've heard of them. Once they pierce the core of the soul, they're very difficult to pull out. The corrosion process is slow but irreversible."

"If it is truly eroded for too long, the soul structure will be destroyed, and it may even fall from its realm."

The onlookers' hearts sank once more. Lord Lynn was in danger!

Some wizards angrily cursed Marfa, calling her a viperous woman who harbored malicious intentions and was so insidious in dealing with her own colleagues.

Cersei also looked worried.

It should be noted that Lynn's advancement speed is the fastest in the Bone Spire, a genuine "True Spirit" seed.

If Lynn's soul is damaged or his potential is harmed, it would be a great loss for the academy.

In the scene, Marfa stands a few steps away, watching Lynn bend over as he covers his forehead, her face showing a look of pleasure, even one of climax.

In the video, Lynn's body swayed even more violently, and his voice, broken and trembling, was squeezed out of his throat:

"Stop it... or I'll get rough!"

Marfa's arrogant laughter rang out on the screen.

"Kid, you only have yourself to blame for being too naive back then. Even if I die, you won't get away with it!"

Lynn looked pained: "Damn it, if that's how it is, then don't blame me!"

Subsequently, Lynn was "forced" to take action and killed Marfa.

When the grayish-white arc of light entered Marfa's body, her body froze, and the smile on her face completely vanished.

Her last words were—"I'll be waiting for you in the underworld..."

After saying that, he tilted his head to the side and died completely.

The video then cuts off.

The teleportation hall was quiet for a moment, and then everyone came to their senses, still wanting to know what happened next.

But these images and Lynn standing unharmed in front of them speak volumes.

Someone whispered, "Master Marfa... is he really dead? A Saint-level wizard... died so easily?"

Another voice said, "She wanted to kill Lord Lynn. Lord Lynn fought back in self-defense. It was clearly captured in the photographic stone. He deserved to die."

The images disappeared after playing, and the grayish-white light receded back into the recording stone.

Cersei turned her gaze away from the image and said to the Wind and Thunder Sacred Mark beside her, "Check the recording stone."

Feng Lei stepped forward, picked up the recording stone, and carefully examined it: "The content is complete, coherent, and there are no signs of cutting."

Cersei nodded, finally relieved.

She turned to look at Lynn: "Is your soul severely damaged?"

Lynn looked grateful: "Fortunately, I had the support of my advanced soul talent, and the Tear of Tranquility that you gave me, which saved my life."

Cersei nodded, somewhat puzzled. Could the small, first-ring magical artifact she had given him really withstand the attacks of a Saint-level wizard?

Cersei's lips twitched, as if she wanted to say something, but she didn't.

Since Lynn was intentionally hiding it in public, it was best for her not to expose her.

But these words were heard differently by other wizards.

The other wizards nearby, hearing how much Cersei cared for Lynn and how she had given him magical artifacts, all looked at the two of them with strange eyes, as if trying to find out something fishy.

Could it be... that the Vice Dean is having an affair with a much younger woman?

Needless to say, with Lynn's exceptional talent, who wouldn't be confused?

If we can get in touch, we might be able to have a powerful backer in the future!

Cersei felt a little uncomfortable under those gazes and coughed a few times to break the eerie atmosphere.

He then stated in a businesslike manner:

"The Academy will investigate the matter of Marfa colluding with the Chaos Egg to attack you. I will submit the contents of the recording stone to the Academy for verification. If what you said is true—"

She paused for a moment after saying this.

"Before that, you will need to go to the interrogation room to cooperate with the investigation."

Lynn's expression shifted for a moment, changing from calm to a look that was slightly bitter and weary:

"Can I not go to the interrogation room? My soul was indeed injured by Marfa, and my condition is unstable right now. I need to rest for a while before I can cast spells normally."

Sersi watched Lynn play the "face-changing" trick and naturally understood his little scheme.

My gaze lingered on his face for a moment.

Lynn's complexion was indeed paler than when she first returned to the academy, and there were fine shadows around her eyes, as if her soul had been eroded.

Cersei saw through it but didn't say anything; she pondered for a moment:

"Okay, you don't have to go to the interrogation room, but you'll have to cooperate if there's anything that requires your cooperation in the investigation."

"Furthermore, you cannot leave the college during the investigation until the truth is revealed."

Lynn nodded: "Okay. As long as we don't go to the interrogation room, staying at the academy will be like going into seclusion."

Cersei nodded: "Come with me first, there are some details I need to ask you."

"Don't worry, you don't need to go to the interrogation room."

Lynn chuckled and followed behind Cersei.

Now the onlookers' gazes became even more strange, their inner gossip burning fiercely.

Lynn followed behind Sersi, the two preparing to leave the teleportation area one after the other.

As they passed the entrance to the teleportation zone, the massive body of the "Abyss Watcher" remained standing on the stone slab outside, its mental energy firmly locked onto Lynn.

If Lynn makes the slightest move, he will face a thunderous strike.

Cersei stopped in front of the figure, turned to the side, and bowed slightly: "Your Excellency, thank you for your hard work."

The Night Watcher of the Abyss let out a low hiss, then nodded to Cersei and gave Lynn a deep look.

Lynn also bowed to show respect for the "true spirit".

Then the "Abyss Watcher" spread its wings and flew back to the top of the Bone Spire, where it hovered.
