Inside the city lord's mansion, the city lord, realizing that disaster was imminent, dared not delay and immediately dispatched all his forces.

The man immediately fell silent, shrinking back against the wall.

The city guards knocked on doors from house to house.

Some searched and left, while others called all the residents into the courtyard and questioned them one by one.

Even dilapidated houses, abandoned warehouses, and dried-up wells were searched.

Old Gray briefly recounted what had happened in the city, but Lynn stood up before he could finish speaking.

"In which direction did they go missing?" Lynn asked.

"At the entrance of Gray Feather Pharmacy," Old Gray said.

Lynn didn't say anything more and stepped out of the study.

His spiritual power spread out overwhelmingly, like a giant net covering the entire Graystone City.

He was very familiar with Lin Yao's soul aura. As long as she hadn't left Graystone City, he could quickly find her by using his spiritual power to probe her.

Tieya, carrying Lin Chen, flew behind and arrived just in time.

Upon seeing Lynn, he hurriedly said, "Chieftain, I have failed in my duty!"

Lynn gave a heavy snort, ignored him, and coldly swept her gaze across the room.

Lin Chen broke free from Tie Ya's embrace and jumped down.

He rolled half a circle after landing, then got up and rushed into the house.

The two thugs tried to stop him when he rushed in.

Lin Chen kicked one away and punched another, then headed straight for Lin Yao in the corner.

"Yao Yao!" Lin Chen ripped the rag out of Lin Yao's mouth and frantically untied the ropes binding her hands and feet.

As soon as Lin Yao was untied, she threw herself into Lin Chen's arms and burst into tears, crying loudly, "Brother! I thought I would never see you again!"

Lin Chen hugged her tightly, his eyes red and swollen: "It's my fault. I shouldn't have abandoned you. I will never leave Yao Yao again."

He silently vowed in his heart that he would never lose his sister again!
