Chapter 90 Ginny goes missing, the Fellowship of the Ring sets out again!
Hogwarts began the morning with a seemingly peaceful start. In the Great Hall, students were having breakfast.
Rowe was enjoying his "marching rations," a sandwich of sausage, fried egg, and toast, perfect for a quick getaway. Harry was having some trouble eating with his comical welding goggles on, often spilling pumpkin juice into his nose, but he didn't take them off at Rowe's insistence.
"Professor Lockhart is still bragging that he caught the murderer," Ron mumbled between bites of his sandwich. "He said he's going to skin the monster and make boots out of it, and he'll even give Snape a pair."
"Vanity is the beginning of destruction," Lowe commented coldly. "When a person starts to believe his own lies, he is not far from the precipice."
Just then, Professor McGonagall's voice suddenly echoed throughout the entire castle. Amplified by magic, her voice not only sounded loud but also carried an unprecedented anxiety and severity, even trembling slightly.
"All students, return immediately to your respective college dormitories. All faculty members, return to the faculty lounge. Please execute immediately."
Chaos erupted in the auditorium. Students stood up in panic, plates were knocked over. The prefects tried to shout to maintain order, but their voices were quickly drowned out by the wave of panic.
In Rowe's view, the once peaceful castle map was instantly enveloped in a blood-red light.

"Enemy attack!" Lowe leaped onto the long table, stomping over a plate of roasted potatoes. Holding a frying pan aloft, he yelled, "Everyone, listen to my orders! Hufflepuffs, to the bunker (common room)! It's a natural air-raid shelter! Gryffindors, to the tower! Ravenclaws, seal off the upper floors! Slytherins... Slytherins, do whatever you want! Don't wander off! Keep formation! Anyone who gets separated will become prey!"
"Get down here, Rowe!" Hufflepuff prefect Gabriel grabbed his ankle and yanked him down, his face flushed. "Don't be crazy! Get back to the dormitory! This is Professor McGonagall's order!"
In the chaos, Harry and Ron were shoved and pushed upstairs by Percy. Percy spread his arms like a mother hen, trying to shield all the first-year students behind him.
"Where are we going?" Harry asked in a low voice, his sunglasses askew in the crowded throng.
"To the faculty lounge." Rowe had somehow slipped out of the Hufflepuff group and appeared behind them. "The commanders are in a meeting (Council of Elrond). We need intelligence. Listening to official announcements at this time will only lead to our demise."
Taking advantage of the chaos, they slipped out of Percy's sight and made their way to the second-floor faculty lounge.
The corridor was empty at this moment.
"Hide inside." Harry pointed to a large wardrobe at the end of the corridor, where teachers' cloaks were usually stored.
The three squeezed into the closet, and through the gaps in the blinds, they saw the teachers hurrying into the staff lounge. Professor Flitwick wasn't even bouncing around as usual, and Snape's face was darker than usual.
Professor McGonagall arrived last. Her face was terribly pale.
"A kidnapping has occurred." Professor McGonagall's voice trembled, and she had to hold onto the back of her chair to keep her balance. "The heir left another message. It's right below where the first attack took place."
"What did you write?" Professor Flitwick asked in a shrill voice.
“Her remains will remain in the Chamber of Secrets forever.” Professor McGonagall choked back tears, which welled up in her eyes. “She was a student. She was taken by a monster.”
"Who is it?" Snape's voice sounded unexpectedly heavy, and his usually sarcastic face was now filled with seriousness. "Which student?"
Professor McGonagall took a deep breath: "Ginny Weasley."
These words were like a thunderclap, exploding in the wardrobe.

Ron's body went limp, and he collapsed to the ground. If Harry hadn't caught him, he would have collapsed long ago. At this moment, his face was ashen, and his eyes stared blankly into the void, as if his soul had been ripped away.
The conversation in the faculty lounge continued, but they were no longer listening. All they remembered was Lockhart rushing in excitedly, only to be unanimously decided by the teachers to be sent to deal with the monster—an obviously ironic decision, to send him to his death, or at least to shut him up.
When the teachers finally left and the corridor returned to silence, Harry and Rowe dragged Ron out, who was lying in a daze.
"Ginny..." Ron's voice was barely audible, like a mosquito's buzz, tears streaming down his face. "Her... bones..."
Forever... I'm a bad older brother... I couldn't protect her...
"Don't believe the enemy's intimidation propaganda," Rowe said.
He grabbed Ron by the collar, forced him to stand up, and even lifted him off the ground.
“Look at me, Sam!” Rowe stared into Ron’s eyes. “What did Aragorn say when the Orcs took Merry and Pippin? Was he weeping? Was he writing a eulogy?”
"No!"
"He said we would hunt them down like hounds! He said we wouldn't give up as long as we had a breath left!" Crying wouldn't save Ginny, nor would fear. Only action could.
"But...it's the Chamber of Secrets..." Ron cried, his face contorted with tears and snot. "Professor McGonagall said..."
All the teachers were at a loss...
"Professor McGonagall thought we were unarmed. She thought we were unarmed civilians."
Lowe released his grip, and Ron staggered to his feet.
“We have maps, we have invisibility cloaks (elf cloaks), we have all the gear we’ve prepared for this whole semester.” Rowe pointed to Harry’s sunglasses and patted the frying pan at his waist. “Most importantly, we know where that damn entrance is. We’re closer to the truth than those professors.”
"That monster took our comrades. This is an act of war."
"Whether it's the Basilisk or Smaug, whether it's the Chamber of Secrets or Hell."
He turned around and extended his hand to Harry and Ron.
"We're going to bring her back. Even if it means turning Hogwarts upside down, even if it means fighting our way through the entire Moria Mines, even if it means facing the Balrog."
Harry took a deep breath and adjusted his sunglasses. In the green eyes behind the lenses, fear gradually gave way to resolve.
"We're going," Harry said firmly. "For Ginny. And for Hermione. We can't let Riddle win."
Ron wiped away his tears. Although his body was still trembling, he clenched his fists, and the stubbornness characteristic of the Weasley family appeared on his face.
"I'm going," Ron said through gritted teeth. "I'm going to kill that snake. If it dares to touch a single hair on Ginny's head..."
"Very good. The Fellowship of the Ring is assembled."
"Now, let's deal with that clown Grimma Clevermouth (Lockhart) who's blocking our way. We need his pass," or at least, to keep him from causing us any more trouble.
