"He will come again in a year." Wen Qing stood at the entrance of Jujinge, looking in the direction Gu Yan had left, her gaze still lingering. She was already looking forward to a year from now.

Her striking beauty immediately attracted attention as she stood at the entrance of Jujing Pavilion. Many infatuated and lustful gazes fell upon Wen Qing, who instantly reverted to her aloof demeanor and turned to walk towards the pavilion. Ji Hongchang followed her back, and he chased after Wen Qing, asking:

"Qing'er, what happened to Li Dan that day...?"

Wen Qing smiled gently: "If Mr. Ji wants it, he can take it and study it."

She immediately bought two, fearing she wouldn't be able to break through with just one. Now that one had helped her, she figured she could let Ji Hongchang study the remaining one; doing him a favor wouldn't be a loss for her. Surely she wouldn't research the Heavenly Separation Pill until it was completely destroyed, would she?

Wen Qing smiled and handed a small bottle to Ji Hongchang, which contained the remaining Heavenly Separation Pill.

Ji Hongchang smiled and accepted the gift, then walked forward with Wen Qing. He said to Wen Qing:

"This Mr. Li Bai has a mysterious background, and we don't know which hermit family he comes from. We must tell the Pavilion Master about this."

Wen Qing nodded.

A room in an inn.

After Gu Yan waved her hand and placed restrictions around the room, she released the Snow Shadow Tiger from her spirit beast pouch. A beam of light landed on the ground and transformed into an adorable little creature. With smooth, glossy fur and a tiger-like face, the little guy opened its golden eyes and looked around before focusing on another living being in the room—Gu Yan.

"Awoo~"

It immediately revealed its ferocious appearance.

Gu Yan smiled and removed his mask, revealing an indescribable, peerless beauty. Even the adorable Snow Shadow Tiger was momentarily stunned upon seeing his face, as if bewitched by it.

But soon the little guy reverted to his cute but fierce demeanor and roared at Gu Yan, the human.

"Awoo~"

"Little thing, will you come with me from now on? I'll make sure you live a life of luxury." Gu Yan squatted down, her voice gentle as if she were bewitching him.

But his gentle voice had no effect on the Snow Shadow Tiger cub; the little guy jumped up and scratched his face with a paw.

Of course, it didn't hit the mark.

The little guy was punched to the ground by Gu Yan, the floor shook with a loud bang, and the talismans stuck around the room lit up. A big bump appeared on the little guy's head. It got up, glaring angrily at Gu Yan, this despicable human. It wanted to swallow him whole, but it was no match for him!

Damn it! Damn it!

Gu Yan stood up, arms crossed: "Little brat, you're going to refuse a polite offer and then have to suffer the consequences, aren't you?"

With a wave of his hand, a small, ancient-looking pot appeared in the void. The pot exuded a mysterious and ancient aura. He picked up the Snow Shadow Tiger, then transformed into a beam of white light and shot into the Demon Refining Pot.

The interior space of the Demon Refining Pot.

In the dimly lit space, golden chains intertwined like a spider web, and at the end of these chains was a woman.

The woman sat on the ground, naked, her long silver hair shimmering like stars. Her hair fell behind her, dragging on the ground and then down to her chest, obscuring most of her voluptuous figure.

This silver-haired woman had pointed ears unlike those of humans, which peeked out from her silver hair. Her skin was very white, as white as the finest mutton fat jade. Her appearance was stunningly beautiful, and her pair of gorgeous red eyes were incredibly captivating.

Gu Yan appeared here carrying the Snow Shadow Tiger cub. The silver-haired woman raised her head, her captivating eyes looking over. She parted her red lips slightly:

"Darling, have you finally remembered me?"

Gu Yan remained expressionless, while the little guy he was holding, who had been struggling, immediately quieted down upon meeting the silver-haired woman's red eyes.

Umir stared at the Snow Shadow Tiger cub, stuck out her tongue, and gently licked her red lips. She giggled, "What an adorable little guy! Darling, you even brought me some snacks, quick, give them to me!"

As she spoke, her mouth suddenly split open, reaching her cheekbones, and her once neat, white teeth were now replaced by a dense array of sharp fangs. Her body abruptly swelled up, and as she expanded, the entire space around her changed.

The place instantly transformed into a chaotic world, with a blood-red sky and black mist covering the earth. Thick chains shot out from the suspended golden magic array, binding a monster with a body hundreds of feet long.

The monster had a human-like half-body, dragging a long, python-like body, with its spine protruding into sharp, arthropod-like bone spurs.

It has six huge, jet-black wings on its back, and six arms that grow from its shoulder blades. The upper part of its arms is a pale human arm, which gradually transforms into mantis blades below the elbows.

The face covered by a mask had six eyes that glowed blood red within their slender eye sockets, emitting a charmingly seductive female laugh.

"Hahahahahahaha..."

He swung his enormous body, the chains clanging, and a terrifying aura struck straight to the heart.

The Snow Shadow Tiger cub's eyes widened in fright, but Gu Yan, with a mischievous glint in his eye, suddenly let go, and the cub fell to the ground. The poor cub was terrified out of its wits; it suddenly jumped up, its claws pawing at Gu Yan's clothes, its head burying its head inside his collar, its whole body trembling.

What is that?!

I was so scared!!

Humans, protect me!

Gu Yan held the little one in her arms and asked with a smile, "Are you willing to come with me now?"

The Snow Shadow Tiger cub nodded vigorously.

Yes! Yes!

Gu Yan was satisfied, and a smile as bright as a hundred flowers blooming appeared on her face. She then carried the Snow Shadow Tiger cub out of the Demon Refining Pot.

Inside the room, an adorable little tiger stood on the table. The peerless handsome young man, dressed in snow-white clothes, waved his hand, and golden light appeared in his hand, transforming into a scroll.

He smiled and spread the scroll out on the table, saying gently to the cute little one, "Come on, put your handprint on this."

The Snow Shadow Tiger cub was unwilling, but under Gu Yan's tyranny, it had no choice but to sign the contract of servitude. Its little paw pressed against the scroll, leaving a tiger paw print on it.

As the contract was formed, the scroll floated up, burning and transforming into a rule that firmly locked the Snow Shadow Tiger cub's primordial spirit.

The little guy had his head drooping, looking listless.

Gu Yan smiled and reached out to pat its head: "It's not like I'm forcing you into prostitution. Trust me, I'm a good person. You're definitely better off in my hands than in someone else's."

"Awoo~"

The little guy is still listless.

My heart is breaking, but I won't say it, boohoo~
