Seeing that Ye Zhixin didn't want the Blood Spirit Pill, Gu Yan didn't force her. If she didn't want it, so be it!

He didn't have many Blood Spirit Pills left; every one he ate was one less. A sinister thought suddenly flashed through his mind: "Capture Tan Yue, imprison her, and extract her blood," but he quickly suppressed it.

He is a righteous cultivator.

Gu Yan put away the pills and said to Ye Zhixin, "Let's go!"

He flew off into the distance, with Ye Zhixin following behind him. The two of them thus left Xuan Yin Ridge.

Once outside Xuan Yin Ridge, Gu Yan said to Ye Zhixin, "Alright, let's part ways here! Until we meet again!"

After saying that, he turned around without looking back and transformed into a golden rainbow, disappearing into the sky.

Ye Zhixin stared in the direction he had left, her emotions churning for a long time. She hadn't expected him to leave so decisively. Did he...did he have ulterior motives towards her? If he did, why did he leave so abruptly?

Did he really save her life out of kindness?

Why?

Isn't he a succubus?

Ye Zhixin couldn't understand it, and the more she thought about it, the more agitated she became.

"Cough cough cough..."

Inside a mountain cave, an old man was coughing. This old man was none other than the Beastheart Elder, who had escaped. The Beastheart Elder's face was now gloomy and ferocious; he hadn't been this disheveled in centuries. He was always the one bullying and plundering others; he never imagined he would be the one being bullied today.

He wouldn't be so angry if his enemy had seriously injured him like this.

But now the other party provoked him first. He went to their door, but didn't gain any advantage. He even lost his natal spirit beast and was almost killed.

Damn it! That bastard, he'll definitely tear him to pieces.

Having hidden himself in the Xuan Yin Ridge for hundreds of years, the Beast Heart Elder knew nothing of what was happening outside. However, once his injuries had healed and he went outside, he quickly learned who had injured him.

Li Bai, the lecherous Li Bai.

Disciple of the Myriad Desires Sect?

He doesn't care whose disciple he is; he'll tear him to pieces.

A ruthless glint flashed in the old man's eyes.

Suddenly, he trembled all over and coughed up a mouthful of blood.

His natal spirit beast was killed.

Because the black-feathered serpent was closely connected to him, the Beastheart Elder was also affected by the backlash the moment it was killed. Although the backlash wasn't very severe, for the Beastheart Elder at that moment, it felt like a knife piercing his chest.

"Li Bai!! I will never let you get away with this!"

The old man with the beastly heart roared.

Inside a simple cave dwelling, Gu Yan was refining pills.

He had killed the Black Feathered Serpent and was using its gall to refine pills. The purple pill furnace hovered in mid-air as Gu Yan cast spells onto it, causing the furnace to slowly change color. He then added about ten kinds of spiritual herbs that enhanced the soul, and finally refined the Black Feathered Serpent's soul into it.

He practiced for more than ten days.

A dozen days later, the pill was completed.

Gu Yan swallowed the freshly made pill and immediately sat cross-legged to meditate and digest its medicinal effects. Although the pill, made with a level six peak magical beast, was very potent, it didn't achieve the desired effect. The injuries to her primordial spirit only improved slightly.

After the effects of the medicine wore off, Gu Yan sat quietly and looked inward at herself.

On the golden primordial spirit, the cracks in the abdomen still remained, with three cracks extending all the way to the dantian.

"It seems these three cracks won't be so easy to repair," Gu Yan muttered to herself, her head bowed.

He sighed, took out his ancestor's alchemy notes from his mansion, and began to read them carefully.

Gu Yan walked through the bustling market in a long blue robe. You asked him why he didn't wear white? Because if he continued to dress like that, wherever he went, people would treat him like a monster.

White robes, silver mask—the hallmark of the lecherous Li Bai.

Gu Yan had no choice but to change his clothes to a different color, and he even changed his mask to a red and black one. Gu Yan went to several pharmacies and then to an auction house, but he didn't find anything. He had no choice but to leave and go to Liaofan Mountain, which Mu Qinghe had mentioned, to see if they had the Soul-Nourishing Flower he needed.

So Gu Yan left the city and immediately headed towards Mount Liaofan.

Several days later, at Liaofan Mountain.

Two long streaks of light flashed across the sky, one in front and one behind, seemingly chasing each other. The one in front was golden, while the one behind was a pinkish-petal-like color.

Suddenly, the pink rainbow increased its speed exponentially, surpassing the golden rainbow and reaching the front. Both rainbows stopped, revealing two figures.

Peach petals fluttered in the air. A stunningly beautiful woman, dressed in a red palace gown, holding a folding fan, with fair and delicate skin and a captivatingly graceful figure, stood in front of him. She smiled lightly as she looked at the handsome young man she had stopped:

"Little one, why are you running away? Your sister won't eat you."

The stunningly handsome young man in blue robes looked to be around eighteen years old. His black hair cascaded down his back, and the blue robe accentuated his beauty, making him appear as exquisite as a jade tree. His features were delicate and refined, as if sculpted with countless carvings, and his temperament was refreshingly ethereal and otherworldly.

"Senior, I have urgent business to attend to. I hope you will allow me to leave," Gu Yan said calmly and politely, though he was inwardly groaning.

I came to Fanshan only to find the Soul-Nourishing Flower, but instead of finding it, I encountered a lecherous woman.

He had only washed his face when this female pervert saw his appearance, and she insisted on having a relationship with him that went beyond friendship. Unfortunately, this female pervert was also a Spirit Emperor Realm expert, so there was no way he could escape.

"Little fellow, you're so clueless! With a beauty like me favoring you, what could be more important than me?" The woman in palace attire chuckled sweetly, her voice as melodious as a nightingale's. That alluring voice was very capable of seducing men, but Gu Yan remained completely unmoved.

Every move she made exuded charm. Although it was unknown how many years she had cultivated, her appearance was as youthful and beautiful as that of a woman in her early twenties.

She gently fanned herself with her fan, and peach blossoms bloomed in the air, their fragrance filling the air, as alluring as her voice.

"Little one, come with me, okay? I'll let you experience what true bliss is." The woman in palace attire walked towards Gu Yan step by step. When she was five steps away from Gu Yan, golden light appeared on Gu Yan's body, and she instantly retreated hundreds of feet.

The woman in palace attire flashed displeasure and immediately chased after Gu Yan.

When Gu Yan saw her chasing after him, he immediately sped up. As he sped up, the woman in palace attire laughed and sped up as well.

The woman in palace attire saw him as prey, playing a cat-and-mouse game with him. Gu Yan knew that getting rid of a Spirit Emperor wouldn't be easy, so he directly used the Wind and Thunder Wings.

A blue light flashed behind Gu Yan, and a pair of blue wings grew out from her back.

Purple lightning crackled around the azure wings. With these Wind and Thunder Wings activated, Gu Yan's speed increased more than twentyfold. In a flash, she vanished from the palace-dressed woman's sight.
