When Amy came in, she also brought in a pot of tea.

Caesar poured a cup of tea and handed it to Daryl. "So, what's the situation with Carol?"

Daryl blew on the tea, the rising steam drifting by, and took a sip.

"Andrea discovered a secret room in the governor's office, where his daughter, Penny, was hidden."

"Oh? Is that so?" Caesar paused in pouring tea, then raised an eyebrow at Daryl. "And then?"

"Based on my and Carol's guess, Penny is dead, but the governor can't bear to part with her and has been keeping the zombies."

Caesar nodded; that was true.

"Andrea deserves a lot of credit this time; she actually managed to discover such a secret."

"besides."

"There's more?" This time Caesar was genuinely surprised.

Daryl nodded, took out a map and placed it in front of Caesar. It was a topographical map of Woodbury.

Woodbury is made up of half a town, thanks to its simple structure with only one main road.

The buildings on both sides of the main road are surrounded by walls of a certain height to prevent zombies from squeezing in through the gaps between the buildings.

The main entrance is made up of two heavy trucks, with a passageway between them. Behind them is a large abandoned factory, usually used to provide entertainment for the residents of Woodbury.

However, these entertainment activities are quite bloody and violent, such as having people fight zombies. Even if the zombies have their teeth and nails pulled out, the scene is still uncomfortable for normal people.

Daryl pointed to the abandoned factory. "This is where the governor kept the walkers and other people who were of use."

Caesar nodded; he understood.

"With Andrea's help, Carol got in touch with Woodbury's logistics department, and through her keen observation, she discovered that people delivered meals and water to the factory every day."

"Moreover, to our knowledge, the governor's recent battles have not resulted in any prisoners of war."

During this period of surveillance, Caesar would send men to monitor the governor's every outing and the Battle of Woodbury.

He also knew that the governor had not captured any of the other side. In fact, the governor had very few prisoners; the vast majority were killed on the spot. Only a small number of lucky victims had their heads cut off and put into a fish tank by the governor.

"Having been imprisoned for so long, Carol suspects that either the other party has some value to be used, or the other party knows something about the situation."

"So Carol wanted to have one team rescue this person during the subsequent party attack, while another team went directly to the dark room to kill the walkers and frame this person's team, creating the illusion that a team rescued him."

After Daryl finished speaking, he slowly sipped his tea.

Caesar didn't think for long before agreeing, "Go ahead and do it with confidence. Yellowstone is your strong backing."

"Once you sense danger, take Carol and Andrea and evacuate as quickly as possible. As for the plan, do it your way."

"Believe me, Woodbury won't cause any trouble. Our real problems are yet to come."

Caesar and Daryl talked for a long time before Daryl took his leave.

After closing the door, Caesar turned around and saw Amy standing in the living room.

Amy's beautiful brows furrowed slightly, and she hugged herself with her arms, looking somewhat frail.

Caesar smiled slightly, stepped closer, and reached out to hug Amy.

"What's wrong? Are you worried about Andrea?"

Amy didn't say anything, but simply tightened her grip on Caesar's arm.

"Andrea is doing very well. She's thriving at Woodbury and now serves as the Governor's secretary, wielding considerable power. As you know, she enjoys being out on missions."

After some reassurance, Amy finally hummed in agreement and raised her little face, saying, "I know it was her own request to go out on a mission."

"I just didn't expect her to go on an undercover mission."

"I remember in the TV series and movies I watched, being an undercover agent was very dangerous; you could die if you weren't careful."

Seeing Amy's worried expression, Caesar reached out and pinched her little nose. "Don't worry, Andrea will be fine. I promise you."

"Woodbury is just a small force, and it's dangerous to infiltrate it, but for us at Yellowstone, Woodbury can be easily overthrown."

"So I thought I'd use Woodbury to give Andrea some experience. She's so adventurous, it'll be easier to give her more important work in the future, and she'll be able to adapt quickly."

As Amy listened to her husband's reassuring words, her worries gradually subsided.

She knew that Andrea was the complete opposite of her; Andrea possessed boundless energy and was passionate about fighting, infiltration, and more...

Doing these things will not only not annoy her, but will actually make her very excited.

Since there's no way to stop Andrea, let's hone her skills and gradually temper her reckless, courageous nature until she has the abilities to support it.

Caesar's arrangements were excellent and made her feel at ease.

"Honey~"

"Um?"

"I want it!"

As she spoke, a cool sensation spread across her ears, and her sweet whispers, almost like thick syrup, entered them.

"Ah—slow down!"

The door closed, then the door opened.

"Who is it? So early in the morning." Sophia opened the door with a yawn, her eyes half-open as she looked at the person knocking.

"Yes, Daryl."

Daryl stood sideways in the doorway, his right hand raised, holding a plastic bag.

"Hey, what's this?" Sofia curiously peered into the plastic bag.

There was a glass bowl with a lid inside.

"These are cookies your mom made, hurry up and take them in and eat them."

Hearing Daryl's voice, Sophia paused for a moment, "It was my mother who made it."

"right."

Daryl nodded.

Sofia took the plastic bag, took out a glass bowl from inside, and said, "What? Only cookies? I thought there would be something special."

Despite saying that, Sofia carefully lifted the lid, took a bite of the cookie, suppressed the downward curve of her lips, but her eyes involuntarily narrowed.

Daryl glanced at the tear stains at the corners of Sophia's eyes.

What a brat!

"I've given you everything. I'm going back now."

Watching Daryl mount his horse, Sophia glanced at the glass bowl and asked curiously, "Daryl, you didn't steal any food, did you?"

"That's so rare."

Daryl galloped away at breakneck speed, saying, "I came back after I've eaten my fill, I'm not hungry."

"Tch~" Sophia curled her lip. Don't think she couldn't see that Daryl had deliberately left it for her, so she didn't even open the lid.

Outside of Huangshi, in a small town.

Armored in jet black and wielding various melee weapons, they stood coldly on the street, facing off against a small horde of dozens of zombies.

Beneath the cold armor lies a chilling aesthetic of slaughter.
