Tiger, I rejected the iron rice bowl.

Chapter 184 Winning or losing, both are disadvantageous

Tang Li caught her breath for a while before slowly straightening up. She stretched out the hand that had just touched the bell, made a few empty clenching motions in the air, and a smug smile played on her lips as she teased Wang Yuyu, "Hahaha, a secure job! To be honest, it felt really nice, soft and quite cute!"

"Don't be so petty. I only touched it once; it's not like I'm going to lose a piece of flesh. Why are you so angry?"

As she spoke, she deliberately shook the hand holding the tip of the tail, her words full of provocation.

"Roar!" Wang Yuyu suddenly raised his head and let out a long, low roar at her. His voice was full of anger and grievance. The tiger was about to explode with rage, and all the tiger fur on its body stood on end.

Even so, he did not make any real attack; he simply roared at her to vent his shame and anger.

In the end, he couldn't bear to hurt her.

The two, one human and one tiger, faced off on the snow. Tang Li still held onto the tip of its tail, her eyes filled with a mixture of cunning and tension.

Wang Yu lay on the ground, glaring at her, but didn't lunge forward again. An awkward yet amusing atmosphere filled the air.

In the end, Wang Yuyu was the first to give in. He simply couldn't outlast Tang Li, and he couldn't bear to really fall out with her.

He pulled his tail back from Tang Li's hand with a heavy force, stood up angrily, flicked his tail, walked to the beef strips, turned around to face Tang Li, and continued to eat with his head down, but his ears were still drooping, looking sullen and unwilling to talk to her.

Tang Li looked at his arrogant expression and finally breathed a sigh of relief, quietly patting her chest.

She was extremely nervous just now, afraid that Wang Yuyu would really get angry and bite her.

Even though she knew that this proud tiger would never really hurt her.

Seeing that he was just throwing a tantrum, I finally felt relieved, and a smile crept onto my lips.

But as soon as she lifted her foot to take a step to the side, Wang Yuyu suddenly stood up from the snow, his amber eyes full of vigilance, staring intently at her every move, his tail slightly raised, ready to be on guard at any moment, completely devoid of the ease he had shown while eating earlier.

Tang Li took a step to the left, and Wang Yu immediately moved to the right, always maintaining a face-to-face posture with undiminished wariness in his eyes.

She tried to walk to the right, but Wang Yu quickly moved to the left, her steps light and her movements swift.

Tang Li was speechless at their guarded and overly cautious demeanor.

She rolled her eyes inwardly, thinking to herself, "Good grief, this guy's really going after my secure job!"

"Looks like I really angered him by touching the bell just now!"

"His trust in me has probably dropped to below freezing point now; he won't even let me get close."

Tang Li stopped, stared into Wang Yuyu's eyes, forced a gentle smile, and said in a softer tone, "Just eat your food. Why are you staring at me? I'm not going to steal your meat!"

"Hmph!" Wang Yu let out a disdainful growl from his snort, still staring intently at her, showing no intention of looking away. He thought to himself, "Don't think I don't know what you're up to. Trying to ambush me again when I'm not looking? No way!"

"You shameless woman, you even dare to touch the tiger's bell! You're utterly lawless! I won't let you come near me!"

The man and the tiger faced off on the snow.

After a long stalemate, Tang Li was the first to give in, knowing that continuing like this was not a solution.

She slowly raised her hands, making a gesture of surrender, her tone sincere and somewhat pleading: "I really won't touch you again, I swear! I'll never tease you again, please believe me?"

Wang Yuyu remained unmoved, still looking wary. Occasionally, she would tilt her head, quickly pick up a piece of beef and stuff it into her mouth, chew a couple of times, then immediately look up at Tang Li, her resistance clear in her eyes, as if to say, "I don't believe your nonsense. You're a man of your word, and I won't fall for it."

"Sigh!" Tang Li sighed helplessly, slowly lowered her hands, and a trace of disappointment flashed in her eyes.

She turned to look at the plastic bag containing chicken feathers next to Wang Yuyu, and suddenly had an idea. Pointing at the bag, she said, "Okay, okay, I won't touch you or get close to you, is that alright?"

"But you want me to take this trash with me and throw it in the bin. We can't just leave these feathers here and make your place dirty, right?"

Wang Yuyu stopped chewing, slowly turned his head, and glanced at the plastic bag behind him. It was full of chicken feathers he had plucked, all messy and scattered on the snow, blowing everywhere in the wind. It was indeed a bit of an eyesore.

He tilted his head and thought for a moment, muttering to himself, "Yeah, these feathers are useless here, they'll just make my place dirty. It's better to let her take them, so I don't have to clean them up myself. Anyway, she's just taking out the trash, she probably won't mess with me anymore."

After figuring it out, Wang Yu nodded slightly to Tang Li, then quickly lowered her head, picked up a piece of beef, but the wariness in her eyes had not completely disappeared.

Seeing that Wang Yuyu had given in, Tang Li was overjoyed and quickly walked toward the plastic bag next to him.

But as soon as she took two steps forward, Wang Yuyu immediately took several steps back, even stopping the beef jerky in his mouth. He pressed his ear even closer to hers, still staring intently at her, maintaining a safe distance. His guarded demeanor made it seem as if he were protecting himself from some ferocious beast.

Seeing his paranoid behavior, Tang Li was utterly helpless. She spread her hands, her tone full of grievance and teasing: "A secure job, please don't be like this, okay?"

"You are a majestic Siberian tiger, the king of the mountains!"

"Logically speaking, I should be the one afraid of you. How come we're the opposite?"

"Look at yourself now! You have none of the majesty of a tiger. You look like a bullied kitten. You're a disgrace to the tiger!"

But Wang Yuyu didn't care about the mountain lord's majesty or losing face. He continued to retreat step by step, firmly guarding his defensive line, secretly thinking, "Damn it, I'm not stupid! If I believe your nonsense and let you get closer, who knows what tricks you'll pull!"

"Even if I beat you, I won't gain anything. You might even hold a grudge and stop bringing me treats in the future."

"If I accidentally hurt you, it would be even worse. I might be kicked out of here, or worse, I might get shot!"

"If I lose, I'll lose even more face. How will I ever be able to stand in this territory again?"

"I'm losing either way, do you think I'm stupid? I'm not falling for your tricks!"
