Tiger, I rejected the iron rice bowl.

"That scared me to death! I thought my job was over and I'd never see it do anything again!" a female researcher said, patting her chest, still shaken.

"Yes, that was definitely thrilling!"

The male researcher next to her nodded in agreement and said in a serious tone,

"Now that the weather is warming up and the temperature is rising day by day, the snow in the forest is slowly melting, the underlying snow is loosening, and the possibility of avalanches is greatly increased."

"I hope he'll be more careful with his secure job and not be so reckless again."

"Exactly!" another researcher chimed in, smiling wryly. "If a tiger king were to die in an avalanche caused by a slip, that would be incredibly frustrating, and utterly embarrassing!"

Upon hearing this, everyone nodded slightly, expressing their strong agreement.

It's truly outrageous that the king of the mountains would die over such a trivial matter.

Wang Yuyu rested for a moment by the tree trunk, making sure there was no more snow sliding down, before carefully loosening her grip and using all four limbs to slowly climb toward the ridge.

His movements were still somewhat stiff, clearly he had been quite frightened earlier, and he was extremely cautious with every step he took, no longer daring to be careless.

Just as he was passing a rock, a continuous hissing sound suddenly reached his ears and caught his attention.

Wang Yuyu immediately stopped, her body tensing slightly, her eyes becoming wary. She slowly moved closer to the bottom of the rock, lowering her body to see what was underneath.

Just as his head was about to reach the crevice in the rock, a dark shadow suddenly shot out from under the rock, heading straight for his face!

Wang Yu reacted extremely quickly, terrified and immediately pulled her head back, taking a step back. Her heart was pounding, and she was still in shock.

Despite the shadowy figure's speed, Wang Yuyu's eyes remained sharp, and he instantly recognized what was attacking him.

It was a jet-black snake with fierce eyes and two conspicuous, gleaming fangs.

Seeing the black snake hissing and poised in an attack posture beneath the rock, Wang Yuyu was instantly enraged. A fierce glint flashed in his amber eyes as he growled:

"Damn it, a little snake dares to mess with me? It really doesn't know its own limitations!"

"I'll eat you alive!"

Despite saying this, Wang Yuyu's behavior was utterly shameless, showing no intention whatsoever of openly and fairly challenging the Black Snake.

He strode around to the rock, raised his two front legs, and stomped heavily on the rock where the black snake was hiding, pressing down with all his might.

With a soft "crack," the rock immediately made intimate contact with the ground, firmly pressing down on the black snake underneath.

The poor black snake didn't even have a chance to struggle before it was flattened into a thin "snake pancake" and could no longer hiss.

If the black snake had a spirit, it would probably wail in its heart: "You have no martial ethics! If you're so capable, fight me fair and square for three hundred rounds! What kind of skill is it to crush a rock!"

On the monitoring screen, Wang Yuyu had already climbed the ridge and was continuing to patrol the territory with steady steps.

However, his slightly stiff movements still showed the shadow left by the avalanche.

A few days later, Wang Yuyu finally arrived at the northern part of the territory.

The traces of prey were everywhere in this core territory. There was no sign of other predators intruding on the ground, no unfamiliar claw marks, and no scent that did not belong to him.

The situation was pretty much as Wang Yuyu had guessed; something had indeed happened, all because of the wandering bear he had chased away earlier.

The bear had originally come from deep within the mountains. After being severely punished and driven away, it did not go far. Instead, it rested for a while in the territory of its neighbor's bear.

But not long after, because there wasn't enough food in the neighbor's territory, they returned to their original activity area.

The tigress became pregnant with cubs after her previous intimate encounter with Wang Yuyu.

The pregnant tigress's appetite had increased significantly, and she needed more food to nourish her body and nurture her cubs. Just then, a roaming bear broke into her territory and tried to steal her prey.

After a while, the bear and the tiger clashed violently.

In the end, the tigress won the fight with her formidable strength and successfully drove the wandering bear away, but the conflict also made her feel an unprecedented sense of unease.

Food was running low in her territory, and now that she was pregnant with tiger cubs and threatened by roaming bears, she couldn't possibly give birth in peace.

After much deliberation, she decided to expand her territory, and Wang Yuyu's territory became her first choice.
