After a hot meal, everyone sat around the fire, enjoying the snowy scenery outside the cave!

"How beautiful! I can't get enough of looking at it!" someone exclaimed, gazing longingly out of the cave.

The others listened and nodded silently.

The snow scene outside the cave is indeed very beautiful, completely natural and pollution-free!

Yi Zhonghai and Xu Damao sat together, also enjoying the snow scene!

After watching for a while, Xu Damao asked, "Captain Yi, how much longer until we reach our destination?"

Yi Zhonghai spread out a map and pointed to their current location, saying, "Researcher Xu, we're currently here, still within this brown bear's territory!"

"If the snow stops tonight, I estimate that if we walk for another day, we'll reach our destination!"

Yi Zhonghai smiled and nodded, patting Xu Damao's hand. "Don't worry, Researcher Xu, since we can hear the tiger's roar, it means the tiger isn't far from us!"

"As long as the tiger is nearby, I'm sure I can lead you to her!"

The group followed Yi Zhonghai toward the place where the tiger had been spotted!

They hadn't gone far when Xu Damao, in the middle of the group, suddenly shouted, "Stop! Something's happened!"

The others immediately stopped and turned to look at him!

Xu Damao looked at the portable thermal imager in his hand. Two red dots were flashing on the screen, indicating that something was approaching them!

He quickly switched to the standard mode of the thermal imager, and the complete outlines of two tigers immediately appeared on the screen!

Xu Damao looked up at Yi Zhonghai, "Captain Yi, it's tigers, two of them, one on each side, about 800 meters away from us!"

"It's quite large; it must be an adult tiger!"

Yi Zhonghai nodded, then looked at the two men in the group. "Get your weapons out. You go guard the left, and I'll guard the right. Don't fire unless absolutely necessary!"

"Yes, Captain!" The two men nodded slightly, took off the long guns they were carrying, released the safety, and one walked forward while the other walked backward.

Yi Zhonghai looked around and selected five large trees. He then addressed the others, "The rest of you, get up in the trees now! No one is to come down without my permission!"

The remaining people nodded silently, then paired up and quickly walked toward the five trees that Yi Zhonghai had selected!

Xu Damao walked over to Yi Zhonghai and handed him the portable thermal imaging camera. "Captain Yi, thank goodness you reminded me to keep this on, otherwise we'd all be dead here today!"

Yi Zhonghai took the thermal imager, smiled, and said, "Researcher Xu, you should hurry up and pick a tree to climb!"

"Otherwise, if the tigers come, you won't be able to outrun them!"

"Okay, okay, you guys be careful too!" Xu Damao didn't dare to be careless, so he nodded in agreement and quickly walked towards a tree!

Before long, apart from Yi Zhonghai and the other two who had guns, everyone else had climbed up the tree!

Seeing the two tigers approaching on the screen, Yi Zhonghai shouted to the two men on guard, "You two hurry up and go too! I'll keep watch here!"

More than 400 meters away from the group, Wang Yuyu's two cubs were lying in the snow, staring intently at them!

The little guys were covered in snow, which turned their bright yellow tiger-skin coats white. Lying motionless in the snow, they were hard to spot!

The two little guys were playing nearby when they suddenly smelled an unfamiliar scent and became interested, so they moved closer to it!

Before they could even get close, Xu Damao, without any sense of martial ethics, spotted them with a portable thermal imager!

As they got closer, the two little guys moved more frequently, and finally they were spotted!

Yi Zhonghai, with his sharp eyesight, pointed to a moving clump of snow on the ground and shouted, "There! The tiger is covered in snow!"

"About ten meters to the left of that forked tree!"

The others immediately looked over and, sure enough, saw a slowly moving snow dumpling!
