When Han Mu said he wanted to retire, Zhou Meng didn't take it seriously, but Han Mu himself was serious. He had lived for so many years and experienced too many battles and hardships. Now he just wanted to find a place to live a quiet life.

"My lord, are you really going to retire?" Luo Feng's eyes widened when he heard Han Mu's words.

"Really, I'm tired and want to rest," Han Mu said.

"What about the Cosmic Sea? Who will take care of it?" Luo Feng asked.

"Aren't we still here for you? You've been with me for so many years, it's time for you to stand on your own," Han Mu said with a smile.

"My lord, you must be joking. We're not capable of that." Zhou Meng quickly waved his hand.

"If I say you can do it, then you can do it. Don't refuse," Han Mu said. He began to arrange his retirement, handing over the management of the Cosmic Sea to Zhou Meng and the other two.

Zhou Meng was in charge of military defense, Han Li was in charge of political affairs, and Luo Feng was in charge of logistical support. The three of them performed their respective duties, while Han Mu completely relinquished his responsibilities and became a hands-off manager.

At first, Zhou Meng and the other two were a bit flustered, but they gradually got the hang of it and managed the Cosmic Sea in an orderly manner. Han Mu saw this and was very pleased.

"My lord, are you really comfortable entrusting the Cosmic Sea to us?" Han Li asked.

"What's there to worry about? I trained you all myself, and I know your abilities," Han Mu said.

"But what if we encounter a powerful enemy?" Han Li asked worriedly.

"Call me if you encounter a strong enemy. I may be retired, but I'm not dead," Han Mu said with a smile.

Han Li was relieved and continued to focus on handling government affairs.

After retiring, Han Mu found a remote planet in the Chaos Sea, built a small courtyard, and spent his days fishing and planting flowers, living a leisurely and carefree life.

That day, Han Mu was sunbathing in the yard when he suddenly sensed a powerful aura rapidly approaching. He opened his eyes and saw a woman in a white dress descending from the sky and landing in the yard.

The woman was stunningly beautiful, with a cool and aloof demeanor, radiating a powerful aura; she was actually at the early stage of the Primordial Chaos realm.

"Who are you?" Han Mu asked, not recognizing the woman.

"I am the daughter of the Primordial Dao Ancestor, the Primordial Fairy," the woman said coldly.

"The daughter of the Primordial Dao Ancestor? I've never heard him mention her before," Han Mu said in surprise.

"My father never mentioned me to anyone in order to protect me, but now that he is dead, I must avenge him," Fairy Hongmeng said coldly.

"Revenge? Who should we seek revenge on?" Han Mu asked.

"I'm looking for you. If it weren't to save you, how could Father have died?" Fairy Hongmeng said coldly. She raised her hand and swung her sword, a sharp sword light slashing towards Han Mu.

Han Mu's expression changed. He hadn't expected the Fairy of Hongmeng to attack him. In his haste, he raised his hand to block, but the Fairy of Hongmeng was stronger than him. With one sword, she sent him flying, crashing into the courtyard wall and creating a large hole in it.

"Let me explain. I regret the death of the Primordial Dao Ancestor, but I didn't kill him," Han Mu explained as he climbed out of the ruins.

"You didn't kill him, but you were indirectly responsible. If it weren't to save you, why would Father have passed on the power of origin to you? Why would he have perished?" Fairy Hongmeng said coldly, and then slashed with her sword again.

Han Mu knew that there was no point in explaining, so he could only fight first. He activated the last of his power and fought against the Fairy of Primordial Chaos.

The two fought from planets to outer space, and then from outer space to the cosmic ocean. Wherever they went, stars shattered, space collapsed, and countless living beings trembled in fear.

Although Han Mu's cultivation had recovered to the peak of the Sovereign realm, the Primordial Fairy was at the early stage of the Primordial Realm, a whole major realm higher than him. He was no match for her and was forced to retreat step by step.

"My lord, we're here to help you." Zhou Meng and the other two sensed the battle fluctuations and rushed over.

"Don't come any closer, you're no match for her!" Han Mu shouted.

But Zhou Meng and the other two ignored her and rushed up to help. Fairy Hongmeng casually waved her hand, and a sword aura sent the three flying. They were seriously injured and fell unconscious on the spot.

"Zhou Meng, Luo Feng, Han Li!" Han Mu's eyes turned red when he saw the three of them seriously injured. He roared and charged towards Hongmeng Fairy without regard for anything else.

Hongmeng Fairy thrust her sword toward Han Mu's heart. Han Mu neither dodged nor evaded, letting the sword pierce his chest. Then, he grabbed the blade with one hand and punched Hongmeng Fairy in the face with the other.

Fairy Hongmeng hadn't expected Han Mu to use such a life-for-life fighting style. In her haste, she tried to draw her sword and retreat, but Han Mu held onto the blade tightly, giving her no chance at all, and punched her in the face.

The Fairy of Primordial Chaos was blasted away by a punch, leaving a clear fist mark on her face and blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. She covered her face, her eyes filled with shock.

"Are you crazy? Don't you value your life?" Fairy Hongmeng roared.

"My life was saved by the Hongmeng Dao Ancestor. If you want it, take it," Han Mu said coldly. He pulled the sword from his chest, and blood gushed out, but he didn't care. He walked step by step toward the Hongmeng Fairy.

Looking into Han Mu's resolute eyes, Fairy Hongmeng felt a sudden surge of inexplicable emotion. She put down her sword, turned around, and left.

Han Mu looked in the direction where Fairy Hongmeng disappeared, breathed a sigh of relief, then everything went black and he fainted.

When Han Mu woke up again, he found himself lying on a bed in the Temple of Creation. Zhou Meng and the other two were guarding the bedside. They all breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him wake up.

"My lord, you've finally woken up!" Zhou Meng exclaimed excitedly.

"How long was I unconscious?" Han Mu asked.

"Three days," Zhou Meng said.

"Where is Fairy Hongmeng?" Han Mu asked.

"She's gone. Before she left, she said she wouldn't bother you anymore," Zhou Meng said.

Han Mu breathed a sigh of relief. He sat up and checked his injuries. The sword wound on his chest had healed, but it left a scar that would probably never disappear.

"My lord, why did that Hongmeng Fairy want to kill you?" Luo Feng asked.

"She said I killed the Hongmeng Dao Ancestor." Han Mu sighed and recounted what had happened.

"This is so unreasonable! It was clearly the Hongmeng Dao Ancestor who voluntarily saved the Master, so how can you blame the Master?" Luo Feng said indignantly.

"Forget it, she acted impulsively. It's good that she's come to her senses now," Han Mu said. He didn't want to pursue the matter any further, since the Hongmeng Dao Ancestor had indeed perished to save him, and he felt somewhat guilty.

"My lord, are you still planning to retire?" Zhou Meng asked.

"Why retire? I almost lost my life. I should just focus on cultivation." Han Mu said with a wry smile. He decided not to retire for the time being and would wait until his cultivation recovered.
