The Longevity Family: Starting from the Foundation Establishment Ancestor

Chapter 471 A Little Nervous During My First Time Undercover Mission

Han Mu returned home and looked at his wife and children playing in the yard. He was filled with reluctance, but he knew he had to go, otherwise these days of anxiety would never end.

"My lord, are you really going?" Fairy Hongmeng held Han Nian, her eyes slightly red.

"We must go. Only by completely defeating the Lord of Harvest can we truly live a peaceful life." Han Mu stroked his son's head and smiled. "Nian'er, Daddy has to go on a long trip. You must listen to your mother at home."

"Where is Father going?" Han Nian asked, blinking her big eyes.

"Father is going to fight the bad guys, he'll be back when he's done," Han Mu said with a smile.

"Then Father must come back soon, Nian'er will miss you," Han Nian said.

Han Mu's nose tingled, and he almost burst into tears. He took a deep breath, turned around, and left home, afraid that if he looked at the house any longer, he would be reluctant to leave.

Han Mu arrived at the edge of the Cosmic Sea, found Zhou Meng and the other two, and told them about his plan.

"My lord, it's too dangerous for you to go alone to raid the Lord's lair," Zhou Meng said anxiously.

"I know it's dangerous, but I have to go. You all stay in the Cosmic Sea and help me protect our home," Han Mu said.

"My lord, let me go with you. More people means more protection," Zhou Meng said.

"No need, it's more convenient for me to go alone. Going with too many people will only make us more likely to be spotted," Han Mu said, patting Zhou Meng on the shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

After Han Mu finished speaking, he tore open a spatial rift and stepped into a higher dimension. Based on the clues left by the colorful old man, he found the passage leading to the lair of the Lord of Harvest.

The passage was long, with strange runes carved on the walls on both sides, exuding an evil aura. Han Mu walked forward along the passage for about an hour, and then suddenly a vast world appeared before him.

It was a world made up of countless golden crystals, each containing a miniature version of a universe, radiating dazzling light. The whole world was beautiful, yet it also exuded an indescribable eeriness.

"This is the lair of the Lord of Harvests," Han Mu exclaimed in surprise. He carefully concealed his presence as he traversed this golden world.

He traveled through the world and discovered some strange creatures. These creatures were made of golden crystals, had no facial features, and only a core that shimmered with red light, which looked like guardians.

Han Mu bypassed the guards and stealthily made his way to a massive palace at the center of the world. The palace was made entirely of golden crystals and radiated a more dazzling light than anywhere else, clearly the residence of the Lord of Harvest.

Han Mu sneaked into the palace and found that the interior was even more magnificent than the exterior, with exquisite carvings and gorgeous decorations everywhere, showing the Harvest Lord's extremely high aesthetic taste.

"This old guy knows how to enjoy himself," Han Mu muttered as he walked and observed, searching for traces of the Lord of Harvest.

Suddenly, footsteps came from ahead. Han Mu quickly hid behind a pillar and peeked out. He saw the Lord of Harvest walking from the other end of the corridor, followed by a group of golden crystal guards.

Han Mu held his breath and concealed his aura. Only after the Lord of Harvest had gone far away did he emerge from behind the pillar. He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and thought to himself how close he had come to disaster.

"My lord, are you alright?" Zhou Meng's voice came through the communication talisman, filled with worry.

"It's alright, I was almost discovered, but I managed to evade it," Han Mu said in a low voice.

"My lord, you must be careful," Zhou Meng warned.

"Understood, don't worry," Han Mu said, continuing to stealthily move through the palace, searching for the Lord of Harvest's weaknesses.

He searched the palace for three whole days and finally found a huge golden crystal ball in a hidden underground chamber. Inside the crystal ball floated a golden heart the size of a fist, radiating powerful energy fluctuations.

"The heart of the Harvest Lord." Han Mu's eyes lit up. He knew that as long as this heart was destroyed, the Harvest Lord would perish completely.

Han Mu walked to the crystal ball and reached out to touch it, but at that moment, a golden light suddenly descended from the sky and enveloped him, and a cold voice rang out in the secret room.

"Do you think you can fool me?"

Han Mu's expression changed drastically. He turned his head and saw the Lord of Harvest standing at the entrance of the secret chamber, looking at him coldly.

"You discovered me a long time ago," Han Mu said in a deep voice.

"I noticed you the moment you stepped into my world. I just wanted to see what you were up to," the Lord of Harvest said coldly.

"Then why did you deliberately lure me here?" Han Mu said.

"That's right, because I need a vessel to carry my consciousness, and you are the best choice." The Lord of Harvest laughed, raising its hand and sending a golden light towards Han Mu.

Han Mu tried to dodge, but the golden light was too fast and shot directly into his brow. A powerful consciousness surged into his mind and tried to take over his body.

"Not good." Han Mu's expression changed drastically. He activated the power of the Lord of Dimensions to resist the invasion of this consciousness, but the consciousness of the Lord of Harvest was too strong, and his defenses were collapsing little by little.

"My lord." The voices of Zhou Meng and the other two came through the communication talisman, filled with anxiety.

Han Mu gritted his teeth. He knew he couldn't give up. He still had family and friends. He couldn't let himself be possessed like this.

Just when Han Mu was about to give up, the system suddenly issued a notification.

"Ding, host has been detected to be invaded by an external consciousness. Do you want to activate the self-protection mechanism?"

"Start it," Han Mu said without hesitation.

A golden light burst forth from Han Mu's body, blasting the Harvest Lord's consciousness away. The Harvest Lord let out a muffled groan, staggered back several steps, and his face turned extremely ugly.

"What's inside you?" the Lord of Harvest asked in shock.

"I won't tell you." Han Mu said coldly. Taking advantage of the Lord of Harvest's momentary daze, he punched the crystal ball, shattering it. Then he grabbed the golden heart and squeezed it hard.

The moment the golden heart shattered, the Lord of Reapers let out a piercing scream as his body began to disintegrate, turning into specks of golden light that vanished into the air.

"It's finally over." Han Mu slumped to the ground, panting heavily, feeling completely exhausted.

"My lord, are you alright?" Zhou Meng's voice came through the communication talisman.

"It's nothing, just a little tired. I'll be fine after a rest," Han Mu said weakly. He struggled to his feet and left the golden world that was about to collapse.
