The Longevity Family: Starting from the Foundation Establishment Ancestor

Chapter 472 The Mechanical Army Has No Martial Morality

Han Mu slumped on a meteorite at the edge of the cosmic sea, panting heavily. His body was covered in wounds, his clothes were tattered, and he looked disheveled, but a victorious smile was on his face.

"My lord, are you alright?" Zhou Meng and the other two rushed over and were shocked to see Han Mu's condition.

"It's nothing, just a superficial injury. I'll be fine after a few days of rest," Han Mu said with a smile. He struggled to his feet, dusted himself off, and said, "Let's go home."

The four returned to the Temple of Creation. When Fairy Hongmeng saw Han Mu's condition, she was so heartbroken that tears almost fell. She quickly brought some ointment and applied it to him.

"My lord, please don't take such risks again," Fairy Hongmeng said while applying the medicine.

"I understand, it won't happen again next time," Han Mu said with a smile. He held Hongmeng Fairy's hand. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I still want to watch Nian'er grow up."

Fairy Hongmeng nodded, leaned on Han Mu's shoulder, and the two sat quietly, enjoying this rare moment of peace.

In the days that followed, Han Mu lived a peaceful life. He spent his days with his wife and children, fishing and gardening. He lived a leisurely and carefree life, and he felt that this was the life he wanted.

But the good times didn't last long. One day, while Han Mu was fishing by the stream, the system suddenly issued a notification.

"Ding, a large-scale mechanical organism gathering has been detected at the edge of the cosmic sea, with a number exceeding one billion. Please handle this immediately."

Han Mu dropped his fishing rod to the ground, his face turning extremely grim. Wasn't the Lord of Harvest already dead? How come there are still mechanical creatures here?

When Han Mu arrived at the edge of the cosmic sea, he indeed saw countless mechanical creatures gathering. They were so numerous that they blotted out the sky and were terrifying. At the head of the group was a huge black warship, on which stood a tall mechanical creature that exuded a powerful aura.

"Who are you?" Han Mu asked coldly.

"I am the younger brother of the Mechanical Emperor, the Mechanical King. You killed my brother, and today I will make you pay for your crime in blood," the Mechanical King said coldly.

"Your brother was a lackey of the civilization harvesters, and he deserved to die," Han Mu said coldly.

"Enough with the nonsense, prepare to die." The Mechanical King raised his hand and waved his hand, sending countless lasers shooting towards Han Mu.

Han Mu's expression changed. He activated his movement technique and weaved through the rain of lasers, but there were too many lasers to completely avoid them. Several wounds were cut on his body by the lasers.

"My lord, we're here to help you." Zhou Meng and the other two rushed forward and joined the battle.

"Be careful, these mechanical creatures are not easy to deal with," Han Mu warned.

The four joined forces and engaged in a fierce battle with the mechanical army, but the number of mechanical creatures was simply too great. Every time they killed one batch, another would surge up, seemingly endless.

"My lord, this can't go on; we'll be worn down and killed," Han Li said.

"I know, but we have to find a way to break through," Han Mu said through gritted teeth. He looked around and realized that the black warship was the command center of the mechanical army. As long as it was destroyed, the mechanical army would be leaderless.

"Zhou Meng, you guys cover me, I'm going to destroy that warship," Han Mu transmitted his voice.

"Okay." Zhou Meng and the other two nodded, and they increased their attack power, attracting the attention of most of the mechanical creatures.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Han Mu rushed towards the black warship. When the Mechanical King saw him charging towards him, he sneered, raised his hand, and a thick laser shot towards Han Mu.

Han Mu neither dodged nor avoided, but punched the laser, shattering it. Then, with the momentum still intact, he punched the Mechanical King.

Mechanical King did not expect Han Mu to be so brave. In his haste, he raised his hand to block, but Han Mu's punch was too strong and directly shattered its mechanical arm.

"Ah!" Mechanical King let out a scream and staggered backward.

Han Mu pressed his advantage, throwing another punch at the Mechanical King's chest. This punch contained the full power of the Dimensional Lord, directly piercing through the Mechanical King's chest and shattering its core.

The Mechanical King let out a furious roar of resentment, and his body crashed to the ground, turning into a pile of scrap metal.

After the death of the Mechanical King, the mechanical army lost its commander and began to fall into chaos. Han Mu and his three companions took the opportunity to wreak havoc, routing the mechanical army and causing the remaining mechanical creatures to scatter and flee.

"Finally solved." Luo Feng slumped to the ground, panting heavily.

"Stop resting, quickly clean up the battlefield to prevent them from coming back," Han Mu said.

The four began cleaning up the battlefield, collecting and destroying the remains of the mechanical creatures to prevent them from being repaired. They worked for a whole day before finally cleaning up the battlefield.

"My lord, why did this Mechanical King suddenly appear?" Zhou Meng asked.

"It should be the remnants of the Harvest Lord's forces. Although the Harvest Lord is dead, his subordinates are still here. We must eliminate them all before we can be completely at ease," Han Mu said.

"Then where do we look for them?" Han Li asked.

"The Mechanical Continent, that's their lair. Let's go and wipe out their stronghold," Han Mu said.

The four returned to the Mechanical Continent and found it had become a wasteland, with ruins everywhere. Clearly, the death of the Lord of Harvest had affected the area.

"My lord, look over there." Luo Feng pointed ahead and saw a huge mechanical palace still standing intact in the ruins, emitting an eerie light.

"Be careful, there might be an ambush," Han Mu warned, and the four of them cautiously approached the mechanical palace.

When they entered the palace, they found it empty except for a huge machine that was running, with countless pipes connected to it, through which a green liquid flowed.

"What is this?" Zhou Meng asked curiously.

"I don't know, but it feels very dangerous," Han Mu said. He walked up to the machine, examined it carefully, and discovered that it was actually creating mechanical creatures.

"So that's where mechanical creatures are produced." Han Li suddenly realized.

"It must be destroyed," Han Mu said. He raised his hand and punched the machine, but the machine did not budge. Instead, it emitted a powerful electric current that sent him flying.

"My lord, are you alright?" Zhou Meng quickly helped Han Mu up.

"It's alright, this machine has a protective shield, ordinary attacks are ineffective," Han Mu said. He thought for a moment, then suddenly had a flash of inspiration, "Han Li, can you break through its protective shield?"

"I'll give it a try." Han Li stepped forward, took out the array plate, and began to study the machine's protective shield.

After spending an entire day, Han Li finally found the vulnerability in the protective shield and successfully cracked it. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Han Mu punched the machine, smashing it to pieces.

The machine shattered with a deafening roar before coming to a complete halt. The green liquid in the pipes began to solidify, turning into a pile of waste.

"Finally done." Han Mu breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that from now on, no more mechanical creatures would appear.
