Tongtian didn't speak, he just stared at Laozi.

Laozi, his face dark, remained silent for a moment: "Tongtian, don't be ridiculous. We, the Three Pure Ones, are one. What difference is there between my disciple and your disciple!"

"Then why can't he be my disciple!" Tongtian puffed out his cheeks, angrily flicking his sleeves.

Laozi was also angry. He could have just beaten up his younger brother Xiong, but Tongtian was clearly angry and wouldn't listen to reason. If he continued to beat him, it might make Tongtian dislike Xuandu, which would be detrimental to the unity of Kunlun Mountain.

Tongtian's eyes were red with anger: "Second Brother wouldn't let me take on any disciples, saying the ones I did take on weren't good enough. Now that I've met a good one, you've snatched him away!"

Hongyun rolled her eyes. It was obvious that the child was jealous. She had to coax him!

"Tongtian, in Laozi's eyes you are naturally the most important, but he has already taken on a disciple, Xuandu is his first disciple, and even the Heavenly Dao has acknowledged him, so how can he give him to you?"
