Chapter 2, Pangu's Essence Blood

"Pangu, do you really think you can kill us all?"

An old, desolate voice rang out, yet it struck Chen Zhe like a thunderclap.

Pangu, the creator of heaven and earth. The fact that he is still alive now indicates that we are in the period before the creation of heaven and earth, in the chaotic era.

The person he was fighting was the Chaos Demon God?

The giant was already injured, but he showed no sign of retreating. Instead, he exuded an imposing aura: "Three thousand. I will count them one by one, not one will be missed."

Chen Zhe immediately felt the urge to run away. This must be Pangu, there was no mistake. Why should he get involved in their fight? He didn't even have a body to move yet; he wasn't even qualified to be cannon fodder.

Enraged by Pangu, several chaotic demons roared and attacked him again.

Their shouts were just sounds, but to Chen Zhe, they sounded as if his whole body was about to shatter, and he was so shocked that he fainted.

When I woke up again, I felt full of energy, as if something had been injected into me.

Looking around, only Pangu remained, and Pangu was watching him.

Pangu smiled kindly: "I never imagined that there would be a little one like you with sentience in this chaos."

Chen Zhe was so frightened that he didn't dare to react at all, fearing that he would be mistaken for a chaotic demon god and struck down.

"Little one, since you have received my life essence, you are my child, and I wish you a bright future. But, don't be in such a hurry to take human form!"

After Pangu finished speaking, he raised his giant hand and gently brushed it over Chen Zhe's consciousness. Then Chen Zhe's consciousness disappeared again, and he fell into a deep sleep.

Looking at the sleeping Chen Zhe, Pangu smiled kindly and placed a red bead into Chen Zhe's body.

He then gripped the giant axe tightly and headed in another direction, resolute and determined.

After an unknown amount of time, Chen Zhe regained his senses of his surroundings. Before he could figure out where the burning bead inside his body came from, he heard a loud rumbling sound.

Chen Zhe saw that towering figure wielding a giant axe once again. This time, however, his axe did not strike the Chaos God, but instead cleaved into the void.

Each strike produces a flash of light like lightning, then the blades fly off in all directions.

One of them flew straight towards Chen Zhe and entered his body without any obstruction.

Chen Zhe's consciousness was drawn into the spiritual light entering his body, comprehending the Dao that Pangu had passed down in the primordial world.

It was in the primordial chaos that, at the beginning of creation, evolved into the Dao. The Dao gave birth to One, One gave birth to Two, Two gave birth to Three, and Three gave birth to all things.

Pangu separated heaven and earth, creating the first, Wuji (the primordial state), the origin from which Yin and Yang emerged. The second, Taiji, divided into Yin and Yang, which in turn formed the Four Symbols, giving rise to all things in heaven and earth. The third, Nature, is the Dao of Heaven, hence the Dao follows Nature.

The principles contained in that axe strike were too profound and too obscure to understand. Before Chen Zhe could comprehend much of it, the light transformed into starlight and entered the bead within his body.

Chen Zhe hurriedly went to check the bead and found that he could still extract the starlight from the bead and comprehend it separately.

This is truly a wonderful surprise! How much of the Dao intent contained in this axe strike can be comprehended will determine how far these innate beings will go on their path to enlightenment. If one can store it, one will undoubtedly be the one who comprehends it the most.

Looking up, one sees that Pangu had already separated heaven and earth. Chaos was divided in two, with the pure energy rising and the turbid energy descending, gradually forming the outline of heaven and earth, and the laws of heaven and earth were already fixed.
