Chapter 3, Pangu Creates the World

Just as Chen Zhe was shocked, Pangu supported the sky with his hands and stood on the ground with his feet, his body growing larger and larger.

It spat out a giant axe, which transformed into three rays of light: the Taiji diagram, the Pangu Banner, and the Chaos Bell.

With a wave of the Pangu Banner, the chaotic energy within the chaos vanished instantly, and the pure and turbid energies that were about to entangle again ceased to gather, re-evolving into earth, water, fire, and wind.

The Tai Chi diagram then unfolded, transforming into a golden bridge connecting heaven and earth.

The Chaos Bell rang out without being struck, and after each loud bang, it seemed as if the world itself had become even more solidified.

As Pangu's form grew larger inch by inch, he also showed signs of difficulty. Beads of sweat dripped from his forehead onto Chen Zhe, who was instantly filled with spiritual energy.

As Pangu's forehead became increasingly sweaty, Chen Zhe, knowing this was an opportunity, floated over and used his own body to wipe away the sweat.

Pangu looked at Chen Zhe with those loving eyes once more: "You little fellow, you're too kind-hearted. You possess great fortune, but whether that's a blessing or a curse remains to be seen!"

Despite having only met him twice, Chen Zhe felt a father's love and warmth from Pangu. It sounds far-fetched, but at this moment, Chen Zhe couldn't bear to see someone who was so loving towards him disappear from the world.

Perhaps sensing Chen Zhe's reluctance, Pangu smiled with relief: "I was born to create the world, and now that the Great Dao has been achieved, you should be happy for me."

Chen Zhe knew he couldn't change anything, so he could only stay by his side, accompany him, and watch him realize his path.

Finally, heaven was destined to be heaven, and earth was destined to be earth; the two were far apart and could never be reunited.

Pangu, exhausted, collapsed to the ground, laughing heartily. His final sound was a deafening roar of thunder.

He separated twelve drops of his essence blood, and his breath split into three. His eyes flew in opposite directions, his left eye becoming the sun and his right eye becoming the moon.

All four limbs and five parts of the body decomposed and transformed into the four cardinal directions and the giant mountains in the primordial wilderness. The blood vessels became the surging rivers, the tendons became the mountains and roads, and even the hair and beard became the stars in the sky, and the body hair became the grass and trees.

After the transformation was completed, Pangu was no longer in the primordial world, yet he was everywhere. The people of the primordial world called Pangu "Father God," a title he truly deserved.

But now, only Chen Zhe is reluctant to part with Pangu and is saddened by Pangu's passing.

Chen Zhe obtained the cultivation method and also saw his true form, which was a cloud that was entirely fiery red.

To be precise, it was a pure white cloud that was stained red by the blood essence that Pangu spat out when he was injured, becoming the first red cloud in the primordial world.

Upon seeing his true form, Chen Zhe felt a strong sense that Hongyun was his true form and should also be his name.

After much contemplation, the name Chen Zhe has faded and disappeared with that life; what remains here now is the primordial red cloud.

In the primordial world, there should not be, and cannot be, Chen Zhe.

And now I finally understand why Pangu said he was too kind and didn't know whether it was a blessing or a curse. This body was the best person and the unluckiest person in the prehistoric world. He had great merit and good fortune, and Zhen Yuanzi was willing to risk his life to protect him, but he was plotted against and died.

But now that I'm here and know what those people are really like, how could I expect to end up the same way?

After my thoughts settled, the red clouds drifted towards the moon, which should be in the west.

Wanshou Mountain Wuzhuang Temple, located near the western wilderness and rooted in the Kunlun Mountains, is Hongyun's destination.
