Primordial Era: When a Good Guy Awakens a Morally Unethical System

Chapter 9, The Completion of the Five Villages Temple

Chapter 9, Wuzhuang Temple Completed

Hongyun felt a little helpless; why was this person so distant?

He sighed and said, "You should choose a site to build your residence first!"

Zhen Yuanzi also felt that he had become somewhat distant, but he really couldn't be that familiar with people he had just met.

His expression was somewhat unnatural, but he still cast a spell first, causing a high wall to form hundreds of meters away from the ginseng fruit tree. The surrounding spiritual energy quickly surged into the high wall, and a spirit-gathering array was quickly set up.

Hongyun: "Fellow Daoist, now that you have established your immortal abode, may I ask what name you have chosen?"

Zhen Yuanzi looked at the ginseng fruit tree and calculated with his fingers: "How about Wuzhuang Temple?"

Hongyun already knew this name and wasn't surprised at all. She simply nodded approvingly: "It's a good name. Zhenyuan has excellent literary talent."

Zhen Yuanzi really didn't understand why this person was so familiar with others. They were just starting out, and they had some resentment before they took human form.

"Where has Hongyun chosen a location?" Zhen Yuanzi was still not used to such a familiar address, and only changed his way of addressing her after seeing Hongyun's eyes.

Hongyun looked around and finally faced the flat ground not far away.

The location was chosen, but the type of house to build was unknown. Hongyun then thought of the wicked system:

"System, do you have models of modern villas or fairytale cottages?"

"This system has everything; if you can imagine it, this system can provide it."

Hongyun was overjoyed. In his later years, he had always been particularly fond of the dream castles in fairy tales. Now he had the opportunity to build them perfectly with just a blueprint or a model.

"Give me a castle."

Just because this system has it doesn't mean you can afford it.

For some reason, Hongyun detected mockery and disdain in the cold voice.

Indeed, he had only just bound himself to the system and hadn't encountered anyone else who was particularly wicked. There was only Zhen Yuanzi standing next to him, and he had no idea how to proceed.

If you don't want to buy it, then don't buy it. Just because you can't afford it now doesn't mean you won't be able to afford it in the future!

Hongyun ignored the wicked system and instead used his hands to cast a spell and set up an array. He placed a spirit-gathering array on the open ground and then raised a fence around it.

Zhen Yuanzi, standing to the side, was particularly puzzled. If a celestial abode had been built, why was it so simple, lacking any grandeur or majesty, and instead so strange?

When the fairytale cottage that Hongyun remembered was built, Hongyun was stunned, and Zhen Yuanzi was also stunned.

...The two looked at each other in bewilderment.

After a long silence, Zhen Yuanzi sighed and said, "Why don't Hongyun also build a celestial abode like mine?"

Hongyun glanced at the small house she had conjured up. Was the house she had longed for since childhood really that strange, or was it because she didn't have the blueprints and it hadn't been properly made?

Building a fairytale cottage in the future would be too expensive and ridiculous. Now that I've transmigrated and have magical powers, I was thinking of living the life I dreamed of as a child. But now my childhood dream has been shattered.

Hongyun took one last look at her childhood dream that had crumbled, then waved her hand to let it disappear.

He looked at Zhen Yuanzi with an embarrassed expression: "Um... I wonder if Zhen Yuanzi would mind taking in a neighbor?"

Zhen Yuanzi was in a dilemma. He could tell that this fellow Daoist might not be very smart and might not be able to live on his own, but he really didn't want to stay in his mansion.

"How about I help you build a celestial abode?" Zhen Yuanzi politely declined.

Hongyun wasn't oblivious to what was being said, but he genuinely disliked buildings like the Wuzhuang Temple. He could accept staying there temporarily, but he wasn't willing to build one himself.

"Never mind, there should be caves on the mountain. I can set them up and still cultivate there."
