Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

Starlight Video, server monitoring room.

Ten minutes until the official premiere of "Fate/Zero" and "Shugo Chara!".

On the large screen, the real-time load curves of the Starlight Video main station and its various substations are climbing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Node 3 load exceeds 75%!"

A technician reported loudly.

"Node 5 load exceeds 80%!"

"What about the backup node? Has it been switched off?"

The technical director's voice was urgent.

"It's already been cut! But the load is still increasing!"

The tech lead gritted his teeth: "Add two more nodes! Quickly!"

The sound of keyboards clicking filled the monitoring room, and everyone was on edge.

This is the highest single-day traffic peak that Starlight Video has faced since its launch.

none of them.

All of this is simply because the first episodes of the two animations are about to be released.

Da Mi stood in the corner of the monitoring room, his palms sweaty.

He glanced down at his phone and sent Yang Qian a message:

"Everbright, you're going to crash our servers! We haven't even started broadcasting yet, and the load curve is already about to break through!"

A few seconds later, Yang Qian replied with a smiley face.

Immediately following this was another message: "Stay calm, we can win."

Looking at the reply, Da Mi shook his head with a wry smile.

He took a deep breath and yelled to the tech lead, "Add two more nodes! It absolutely cannot crash tonight!"

"If we ruin Starlight Video's reputation, we'll lose face in front of the entire industry!"

"receive!"

Time was ticking away.

It was exactly 7 p.m.

The first episodes of "Fate/Zero" and "Shugo Chara!" were released simultaneously.

Almost simultaneously, millions of users flooded in.

Fate/Zero, Episode 1.

The moment the opening theme started, the density of the comments was so high that the screen was almost completely obscured.

"Here it comes! Here it comes! The Holy Grail War!"

"This opening sequence! The visuals! The smoothness! The budget is burning!"

"Saber! Saber! Saber! I came here specifically for Saber!"

The scene slowly unfolds.

Seven different locations, seven Masters with different desires, chanting the ancient summoning incantation in different times and spaces.

[I hereby declare that you shall obey my commands.]

My life is entrusted to your sword.

[If you wish to dwell in the Holy Grail]

If we follow this intention and this principle, then we should respond accordingly.

I hereby swear

I will accomplish all good in the world.

I will suppress all evil in the world.

......

The Guardian of the Scales

A moment of silence.

Then, a burst of light shone into the sky.

In the darkness of night, a blonde girl clad in silver armor slowly appeared at the center of the summoning circle.

Its emerald green eyes gleamed with a cool light under the moonlight.

She looked up at the man in front of her.

"I'm asking you."

Are you my master?

The barrage of comments was completely overwhelmed.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!"

"A woman! King Arthur was a woman!!"

"But what's with this guy's handsomeness?! What's with this overwhelming sense of oppression from someone who's both beautiful and handsome?!"

"Saber! My destined Saber!"

"I took a day off specifically for this moment! It was totally worth it!!"

"Land of Light, you are my god!!"

"This one minute of footage alone surpasses all similar works on the market!!"

"Did you notice the details? The texture of the armor, the light and shadow in the eyes, the flowing hair... Is this the level of artwork the Land of Light is producing?"

"The title of 'funding warrior' is well-deserved!"

"I want to rave about the Land of Light!!!"

The first episode ends with Saber's first confrontation with Kiritsugu Emiya.

The rating instantly soared to 9.8.

The comment section was flooded with more than 20,000 comments within five minutes.

"A masterpiece in the making. The script, the animation, the soundtrack... I'm at a loss for words to describe it."

"I watched the scene of the summoning of heroic spirits three times, and I discovered new details each time."

"I feel that this is not just an animation, but a visual and auditory feast."

"The most popular anime of the year, it reached its peak right from the start."

On the other hand, the art style of "Shugo Chara!" is completely different.

The female protagonist, Hinamori Amu, lies in bed, staring at the ceiling.

Her eyes held a hint of the confusion typical of teenage girls.

"Going to school again... and having to pretend to be that cool me again..."

Comments floated by

"The world is different for me."

"This is a true reflection of my school life."

"Amu's eyes are so real."

Amu closed her eyes and whispered a wish.

"Guardian Spirit... if you really, truly exist."

"Give me courage."

"The courage to become the person you aspire to be."

I woke up the next morning.

There were three more eggs on the bed.

Red, blue, green.

Bullet comments:

"???"

"Egg?"

"What kind of setting is this?"

"I think I understand something."

The little spirits that hatch from the eggs are called Shugo Chara.

The comments section instantly softened.

"So cute!!!"

"I'm dead!!! How can someone be so cute!"

"How come a tough guy like me is watching this with such interest?!"

"Kuangda, you really understand girls' hearts!"

When Amu transformed for the first time and showed a brand new look, the comments section went into a frenzy.

"Hypertransformation!!!"

"What an adorable transformation!!!"

"This design is so beautiful!"

"I declare this the best magical girl of the season!"

The first episode has ended, and the rating is now 9.5.

The comments section was equally lively.

"I originally thought it was for young children, but I didn't expect it to be so delicate. Amu's feelings of wanting to change but not daring to change are so real."

"Does the Land of Light have some kind of magic? How can it handle any subject matter?"

"One second I'm watching Servants fight in Fate, the next I'm finding solace in Shugo Chara! How many more surprises does the Land of Light hold that I don't know about?"

That evening, the Land of Light occupied six of the top ten spots on the trending topics list.

Meanwhile, Lizi Entertainment's "The Legend of King Arthur" has dropped to eighteenth place in the trending search rankings.

The comments section was filled with lamentations.

"I'm sorry, Tanuki, I've betrayed you. Saber is too cool, I can't keep calling your King Arthur, who's in love, 'husband' anymore."

"They're both King Arthur, is this the difference?"

"The King Arthur from Tanuki Entertainment is a handsome guy, while the King Arthur from the Land of Light is a goddess. They're not even in the same league."

"Once Shugo Chara! came out, Fantasy Girl suddenly lost its appeal..."

"Now I believe it. The Land of Light wasn't resting before; they were waiting for us to finish putting on a show before slapping us down."

Zhang Ming sat in his office, staring at the precipitous drop in data from the backend system, his face ashen.

On Penguin Video, Wisteria watched the playback curve of "Dreamy Girl".

She sighed.

The assistant asked cautiously, "Ms. Zi, should we adjust the schedule?"

The wisteria flower shook its head.

"Need not."
