The Courtyard House: The story begins with He Yuzhu beating up the White Widow.

Chapter 276 He Yuzhu went to report the news and led people into the mountains.

He Yuzhu released his divine sense, and instantly the entire layout of the ground and underground appeared in his mind. The Japanese devils are quite cunning. All four secret rooms were filled with boxes, each containing a box with a rope attached to it, the other end of which was connected to explosives. If any one of the four secret rooms was triggered, the entire basement would be destroyed.

He Yuzhu used his divine sense to store all the explosives at the other end of the rope into his spatial storage. With the danger averted, He Yuzhu began to examine the contents of the basement. The main hall was filled with weapons, ammunition, and food. The first secret room contained several steel cylinders, each painted with a skull. The second secret room contained various artillery shells, but these shell crates were also painted with skulls. The third secret room contained specially made wooden crates, inside which were many glass bottles. Although the crates themselves didn't have skulls painted on them, each glass bottle had a label with Japanese writing in Hulira script. The fourth secret room contained boxes filled with paper.

He Yuzhu knew that if these things in the secret chamber were taken away, the consequences would be unimaginable. He Yuzhu immediately returned to the surface and closed the entrance to the basement. Then, he found several large stones and placed them on the base of the statue. Afterward, he quickly left the mountain god temple. Running at breakneck speed, He Yuzhu reached the foot of the mountain in just over twenty minutes, then took out an off-road vehicle from his spatial storage and drove straight to Beijing.

When they were about seven or eight kilometers from Beijing, He Yuzhu put the SUV back into his storage space and switched back to his three-wheeled motorcycle. Once inside Beijing, He Yuzhu rushed to the police station entrance as fast as he could. As He Yuzhu showed his identification and was about to register to enter the station, Zhang Hu and Zhang Qiang came out. Seeing He Yuzhu, Zhang Hu asked, "Zhuzi, what brings you here?!"

He Yuzhu said, "Uncle! Quickly notify the troops and request the deployment of chemical defense units!"

"What?!" Zhang Hu and Zhang Qiang both looked surprised. Zhang Qiang said, "Zhu Zi! Speak slowly and clearly!"

He Yuzhu got off his motorcycle, pulled the two men into the guardhouse, closed the door, and recounted the whole incident to Zhang Hu and Zhang Qiang. After hearing He Yuzhu's account, Zhang Hu and Zhang Qiang both realized the seriousness of the situation. Zhang Qiang said, "Hu Zi, contact the troops immediately. I'll take some men and go with Yuzhu to keep watch over there."

"Alright! Mark the way!" With that, Zhang Hu immediately ran out of the guardhouse. Zhang Qiang used the internal phone in the guardhouse to first report to Director Song Fuyong, and then dispatched more than a dozen police officers, armed, to follow He Yuzhu.

A little after 6 p.m., He Yuzhu led Zhang Qiang and a dozen or so policemen to the foot of the mountain. Zhang Qiang left four men at the foot of the mountain to watch the cars and instructed them to fire a signal flare every twenty minutes. He then led the rest of the men into the mountain with He Yuzhu.

After walking for about twenty minutes, Zhang Qiang asked with some concern, "Zhu Zi, you haven't gone the wrong way, have you?!"

He Yuzhu said, "Director Zhang, don't worry! Even with my eyes closed, I won't get lost in the mountains." He then pointed ahead and said, "Go a little further ahead, and you'll find a stream. Cross the stream, keep going, and you'll see an abandoned temple. That's it!"

The stretch of road He Yuzhu mentioned was not short. It took them a full half hour. After crossing the stream, He Yuzhu led them for another ten minutes or so, rounding two large trees blocking their way, until they reached the front of the mountain god temple. He Yuzhu said, "Director Zhang, we're here." He then called two men to gather some branches and pile them in front of the temple. He Yuzhu took out a glass bottle filled with gasoline, poured the gasoline onto the branches, then took out a matchbox, struck a match, and threw it onto the gasoline-soaked branches, which instantly burst into flames.

Seeing this, Zhang Qiang ordered two more bonfires to be built. He left four people to keep watch at the entrance and led the rest of the men into the mountain god temple with He Yuzhu.

He Yuzhu walked to the statue and saw that the stones on the base hadn't been moved. He Yuzhu finally felt relieved. He moved the stones aside, took out his key, inserted it into the hidden lock, and activated the mechanism. The basement door opened. He Yuzhu said, "Director Zhang, everything is downstairs."

Zhang Qiang hesitated for a few seconds and said, "Don't go down yet. Let's wait for the troops to arrive."

"Oh!" He Yuzhu responded, leading Zhang Qiang to the four Japanese corpses. He said, "I met them in the mountains. I followed them here." He then took a notebook from his bag and handed it to Zhang Qiang, saying, "This is what I found on one of them."

Zhang Qiang took the notebook, glanced through it briefly, looked at He Yuzhu, and said, "I really don't know if you're lucky or unlucky!"

He Yuzhu said, "Bad luck is also a part of life."

"You're pretty optimistic, kid!" Zhang Qiang replied, adding, "I reckon your uncle and the others are almost down the mountain. Go and bring them up."

"Oh!" He Yuzhu responded, "I'll go pick them up right away."

After He Yuzhu left, Zhang Qiang quickly set up guard posts.

In the blink of an eye, another half hour had passed. He Yuzhu had just reached the foot of the mountain when six trucks drove up from a distance. Soon after, the trucks stopped about twenty meters away from He Yuzhu. Zhang Hu nimbly jumped out of the first truck, ran to He Yuzhu, and asked, "Zhuzi, where are Zhang Qiang and the others?!"

He Yuzhu replied, "I've already taken them into the mountains. They're keeping watch there. Don't worry! No one has gone there since I left."

"Alright!" Zhang Hu nodded slightly, looked at the people behind him, and said, "Old Ju, let's go into the mountains!"

"Okay!" Ju Wei responded and immediately gathered his men, following He Yuzhu and Zhang Hu into the mountains.

More than an hour later, He Yuzhu and his men arrived at the mountain temple. After meeting with Zhang Qiang, He Yuzhu explained the situation below to Ju Wei. Ju Wei and the soldiers immediately put on protective suits, gas masks, and flashlights, and went down the steps to the basement.

Seeing that he had nothing more to do, He Yuzhu pretended to walk to a tree. After climbing the tree, He Yuzhu took out two yellow sheep tied with ropes from his spatial storage when the people below were not paying attention, and threw the sheep directly to the ground below.

Hearing the commotion, Zhang Qiang and Zhang Hu ran to the foot of the tree and saw two gazelles that had suddenly appeared on the ground. They simultaneously raised their flashlights and looked up at the tree. Just then, He Yuzhu slid down from the tree.

Zhang Qiang asked, "Zhu Zi, did you hunt those two gazelles?!"
