Jiang Che came out of the kitchen carrying two dishes: a plate of steamed sea bass and a plate of garlic broccoli.

He had just placed the plate on the table when he noticed Su Qinghe staring at her phone screen, her brows furrowed as if she were pondering some difficult problem.

"What are you looking at so intently?"

Jiang Che leaned closer, rested his hand on the back of the chair, and glanced at her phone screen.

The screen was playing a project presentation video posted by the official Challenge Cup account. Several students in formal attire were standing on the presentation stage, and their PowerPoint presentations were very professional.

Intelligent waste sorting systems, rural e-commerce platforms, AI medical diagnostic assistants—each one sounds more sophisticated than the last.

"Ah Che, do you think our secondhand textbook platform seems too ordinary compared to these?"

Su Qinghe looked up at him, a hint of uncertainty in her eyes, "Look at these projects, they all seem to be very technically advanced."

Jiang Che sat down next to her, picked up a piece of fish with his chopsticks and put it in her bowl. "You're overthinking it. The competition isn't just about how flashy your skills are, but also about whether you can actually solve real problems."

"But..." Su Qinghe poked at the fish in her bowl, still hesitant, "I always feel like something's missing from our project."

Jiang Che took a bite of broccoli and mumbled, "What's missing?"

Su Qinghe put down her phone, rested her chin on her hand, and thought for a moment. "I'm thinking, if it's just about creating a platform for students to buy and sell secondhand textbooks, that's actually quite simple, right? But what if we could add a bit of a public welfare element to that?"

"Charity?" Jiang Che stopped eating and looked at her.

"Yes," Su Qinghe's eyes lit up, and she spoke faster. "For example, we can set up a donation channel so that unwanted old books can be donated directly to students in impoverished areas."

"Or we could create a points system where students can earn points for each book they sell or donate, and those points can be used to redeem the textbooks they need."

Jiang Che listened and nodded. "That's a good idea. It can solve the problem of wasted resources and help those who really need it."

"Right, right!" Su Qinghe picked up her bowl and took a bite of rice, her tone filled with excitement. "When I was looking at those projects just now, I was thinking that no matter how amazing the technology is, it has to be implemented to be useful. Although ours may not sound that high-end, it is practical and has a human touch."

Jiang Che picked up a piece of tender meat from the fish's belly, put it in his mouth, and chewed slowly, already planning out the specific steps in his mind.

"Okay, after we finish helping Sister Yu Ning move on Saturday, we'll gather Xu Wenbin and the others in the afternoon to officially launch this project."

He swallowed the fish, then picked up some food for Su Qinghe. "I see the preliminary round of the competition is in the middle of next month, so there's still plenty of time."

"Then I'll start organizing the framework of the project proposal tomorrow."

Su Qinghe glanced down at her phone a couple more times, then remembered something and looked up at Jiang Che again, asking, "By the way, do you think we should do some market research first? Ask the other students what their needs are for this platform?"

"Okay, let Song Mingxuan design a questionnaire and send it out in various group chats on campus."

Jiang Che shoveled the last bite of rice into his mouth, reached out and rubbed her head. "Don't overthink it. The direction of this project is fine; the rest is just a matter of execution."

Su Qinghe tilted her head slightly as he rubbed her hair, then laughed and slapped his hand away. "Just talk, stop touching my hair, it'll get messy later."

"Go ahead and touch me, can't I touch my wife?" Jiang Che said, giving Su Qinghe's head a hard rub.

The two finished their dinner amidst laughter and chatter.

Jiang Che quickly cleared away the dishes and put them in the dishwasher in the kitchen, while Su Qinghe curled up on the sofa with her phone and continued to study the competition projects.

Xiaoman jumped down from the cat tree, walked gracefully to the sofa, jumped up, and lay down on Su Qinghe's lap.

Jiang Che put down the bowl, wiped his hands, walked to the sofa, and plopped down next to Su Qinghe, casually draping his arm over her shoulder. "Still looking?"

"Yeah, take a look at the competitors, you need to know yourself and your enemy."

Su Qinghe held up her phone. "Look at this project. It's also about campus secondhand trading, but they handle all categories. Books, electronics, clothes, and things like that can be traded."

Jiang Che leaned closer for a look. "The coverage is quite broad, but we're actually more specialized in producing teaching materials."

I think so too.

Su Qinghe strongly agreed with Jiang Che's point of view. While continuing to scroll down the screen, she nodded and said, "Focusing on one area and cultivating it deeply is better than doing a little bit of everything but mastering nothing."

As they were talking, Xiaoman suddenly raised her paw and slapped Su Qinghe's phone screen.

"Hey!" Su Qinghe quickly held up her phone, pretending to be angry, and poked Xiaoman's head. "Xiaoman, what are you doing?"

Xiaoman tilted its head to look at her, meowed, and then reached out its paw to grab the phone in her hand.

Jiang Che had already figured out the trick, and couldn't help but laugh out loud, "It's jealous because you're always looking at your phone and not touching it."

Su Qinghe had no choice but to toss her phone aside, reach out and rub Xiaoman's head, "Okay, okay, I'll rub you."

Xiaoman squinted her eyes contentedly, making gurgling sounds in her throat.

Jiang Che also came over and poked Xiaoman's paw pads, "This little thing is getting better and better at enjoying life."

"You bet." Su Qinghe looked down at the cat in her arms. "When we first picked it up, it was incredibly skinny, but now its belly has gotten quite round, almost as round as that... sesame brittle that's been all the rage online lately?"

"From afar, the cat looks big; up close, it's still a big fat cat, right? That's because you feed it well."

Su Qinghe giggled, put her phone on the coffee table, then cupped Xiaoman's face in her hands and looked at it earnestly. "Xiaoman, be a good girl, okay? Mommy and Daddy have to talk about serious business now."

Jiang Che almost lost his composure when he heard this address. "What do you mean, 'Mom' and 'Dad'? Don't call me that!"

"Why are you calling me that?" Su Qinghe glanced at him. "Isn't Xiaoman our child?"

"That can't be..." Jiang Che stopped mid-sentence, then sighed upon seeing Su Qinghe's self-righteous expression. "Never mind, whatever makes you happy."

Fortunately, after being told that, Xiaoman really behaved herself, curling up in a ball on Su Qinghe's lap, her tail swaying in the air.

Su Qinghe then picked up her phone again and opened a video of another project case study. Jiang Che leaned over to watch it with her.

The students in the video are introducing their smart campus system, which includes cafeteria queue reservations, library seat reservations, and automated package sorting—it sounds very comprehensive.
