The last rays of the setting sun pierced through the hole.

The man-made fire has burned out.

But the real fire of doubt in Lu Tingzhao's heart burned even brighter.

Lu Tingxi pressed herself against the floor-to-ceiling window of the glass greenhouse. She was too far away to see the details clearly, but the glaring dark red on Qin Xiu's cuff and the winding bloodstains on the back of his hand were etched into her eyes with unparalleled clarity.

The glass door had just been cracked open by the maid from the outside when Lu Tingxi rushed out and pounced on Qin Xiu.
