Li Haotian looked at the approaching elders. They exuded an imposing aura.

"You've come at the perfect time," Li Haotian said. Golden and red flames flickered in his hands.

Lin Mo hugged his arm tightly.

"Isn't this a bit too unethical?" Li Haotian asked.

He pointed to where Wu Sen was hiding.

"After dealing with the younger ones, now the older ones are coming." Li Haotian shook his head.

"What a troublesome bunch."

"Boy, don't be so arrogant!" The leading old man said, gathering his strength in his dantian.

His voice was booming.

"I am Zhao Zhong, the current steward of the Zhao family!" the old man shouted.

"You despicable scoundrels, surrender now!"

Li Haotian raised his eyebrows.

"Uncle Zhong," Li Haotian interrupted Zhao Zhong.

"Don't try to claim kinship with anyone you don't know," Li Haotian said, pointing to Chen Dong who was standing not far away.

"I just cleaned up your house," Li Haotian said.

"We sent that kid Han Kun to the police station."

Zhao Zhong's face twitched. The ancient martial artists behind him were surging with internal energy.

The air seemed to freeze.

"Li Haotian, stop talking nonsense!" a sharp voice rang out.

Zhao Tianming stepped out from behind Zhao Zhong. Several spoiled young men followed behind him.

Zhao Tianming wore a twisted smile.

"You have completely disgraced the Zhao family!" Zhao Tianming pointed at Li Haotian.

"Today, I'm going to make you kneel down!" His eyes were vicious.

"That's right, Li Dazhu!" a spoiled brat shouted.

"Last time you made me stand upside down and eat dirt," the spoiled brat shouted.

"This time I'm going to make you eat..." He didn't finish his sentence.

"What else would you like to eat?" Li Haotian asked calmly.

He pulled a few discarded screws out of his pocket.

The screws were shaken off the tires when the Hummer charged in.

"What do you want to eat?" Zhao Tianming was taken aback.

He hadn't expected Li Haotian to ask that question.

Li Haotian flicked the screw in his hand. A streak of golden-red light flashed past.

"Pfft!" The screw pierced the flesh.

"Ouch!" A spoiled brat behind Zhao Tianming cried out in pain, clutching his thigh.

He immediately knelt down on the ground.

There was a small hole in my thigh, deep enough to expose the bone. The screw had only penetrated half an inch.

The screw stopped precisely on his acupoint. The spoiled brat wanted to move, but his legs wouldn't obey him.

"You!" Zhao Tianming was startled.

Li Haotian flicked a few more screws.

"Ah!" Screams of agony rose and fell.

"My hand!" shouted a spoiled brat.

"My ass!" another shouted.

Several spoiled young men screamed and fell to the ground. Some of their hands were pinned to the ground.

Some of them had screws stuck in their buttocks. They were all completely immobilized.

The screw pierced through the flesh, but avoided vital organs, merely rendering them immobile.

"Old guys," Li Haotian said, looking at Zhao Zhong and the others.

"You want to give it a try too?" The screw in Li Haotian's hand flashed with golden light once more.

Zhao Zhong and the others' expressions changed drastically. They were highly skilled in ancient martial arts.

They sensed the golden-red aura emanating from the screw.

That aura wasn't internal energy. It was more like some kind of primal and powerful force.

They couldn't even track the screw's trajectory.

"Hmph!" Zhao Zhong flicked his sleeve.

"Petty tricks, mere trifles!" he said, feigning composure.

He took a small half-step back.

"Old Zhao, stop bragging," Chen Dong called out from the side.

He had personally witnessed Li Haotian defeat "Iron Fist" with the back of a kitchen knife.

"Shut up!" Zhao Zhong shouted angrily at Chen Dong.

"Hey, you," Li Haotian said, looking at Zhao Zhong.

"Even Old Chen can't be controlled," Li Haotian said.

"Still trying to control me?" The screw in his hand flew out again.

"Thud!" The screw hit.

"Ah!" Zhao Tianming screamed in agony.

This time, the screw didn't aim at Zhao Zhong. Instead, it flew towards Zhao Tianming.

The screw struck Zhao Tianming's belt precisely, tearing the fabric.

His pants slipped down instantly, revealing his floral underwear.

"You, you!" Zhao Tianming was both shocked and furious.

He quickly covered his buttocks, his face flushing red.

"The Zhao family steward," Li Haotian said, looking at Zhao Zhong.

"This is the kind of person you've trained," Li Haotian said.

"He can't even put his pants on properly."

Zhao Zhong's face turned ashen. His Zhao family had never suffered such humiliation.

"Withdraw!" Zhao Zhong gritted his teeth.

"Retreat first!" He knew how formidable Li Haotian was.

Those few moves just now were enough to put all ancient martial arts practitioners on their guard.

Rushing forward rashly might lead to trouble.

Zhao Zhong led the martial arts practitioners in a swift retreat. They arrived quickly, and they left just as fast.

Zhao Tianming clutched his backside, his pants half-pulled down. He scrambled and crawled away as they ran.

"These old guys are really tough," Li Haotian muttered.

He looked at Chen Dong. "Old Chen, clean up this trash."

He pointed to the wailing spoiled brat on the ground. "Understood!" Chen Dong saluted.

The Dragon Shield special forces members quickly stepped forward and subdued the spoiled brats.

"Su Wan." A soft sound came from Li Haotian's earpiece.

"Brother Dazhu, I have a new situation here." Su Wan's voice was solemn.

"The Zhao family's higher-ups are secretly contacting the Pioneers to manufacture medicine," Su Wan said.

"Oh?" Li Haotian raised an eyebrow.

"What do they want to do?" Li Haotian asked.

"They seem to be plotting a collaboration," Su Wan said.

"Trying to divide up Lin Mo's power," Su Wan added.

"Seize the 'Matrix Core'."

"Divide it up?" Lin Mo looked up at Li Haotian when she heard the words "divide it up."

"My braised pork?" Lin Mo asked. Her little face scrunched up.

"It's not braised pork." Li Haotian rubbed her head.

"They want to steal your things."

"You bastard!" Lin Mo said angrily.

"I know," Li Haotian said. He looked in the direction Zhao Zhong had left.

His eyes were deep and unfathomable.

"It seems these old guys really have no manners," Li Haotian said.

"Su Wan, keep a close watch on the Zhao family's movements," Li Haotian added.

"And the pioneers' medicine-making outposts. We can't let any of them escape."

"Received, Brother Dazhu," Su Wan replied firmly.

Li Haotian looked at the collapsed teaching building again.

"Wu Sen hasn't come out yet?" Li Haotian asked.

"The energy fluctuations are still underground," Su Wan reported.

"It seems they are gathering strength."

"Accumulate strength?" Li Haotian sneered.

"Looks like this piece of trash wants to put up a fight one more time."

He pulled Lin Mo along, step by step, towards the collapsed ruins.

The rubble crunched underfoot.

"Brother Dazhu, where are you going?" Chen Dong asked.

"Go and clean up the trash thoroughly," Li Haotian said.

The golden-red flame in his hand flickered again.

"It smells awful," Lin Mo said.

"It's alright, I'll burn it clean," Li Haotian said.

He flashed and rushed into the depths of the ruins.

Under the cover of night, Tunghai University was in a state of chaos.

Purple and gold light intertwined and shimmered in the ruins.

"Wait!" A cold voice rang out.

A woman wearing a white cheongsam walked out from the Zhao family's procession.

She wore a cold smile, holding a slender, flexible sword.

The woman was tall and slender. The cheongsam accentuated her figure.

She walked directly toward Li Haotian.

"You're Li Haotian?" the woman asked. Her voice was arrogant.

Li Haotian stopped in his tracks. He looked at the woman.

The flame in his hand diminished.

"Little girl," Li Haotian said. "What do you need?"

"I am Zhao Lin," the woman said, identifying herself.

She stopped three steps away from Li Haotian.

"The eldest daughter of the Zhao family," Zhao Lin said again.

"Hand her over." Zhao Lin pointed at Lin Mo.

"Lin Mo is the future of the Zhao family." She said confidently.

Li Haotian frowned slightly. He looked around.

There are rubble and building ruins on the ground.

He picked up a bent steel bar. The bar was as thick as an adult's arm.

He weighed the steel bar in his hand.

"Little girl," Li Haotian said, pointing at Zhao Lin with the steel bar in his hand.

"You've got some nerve," Li Haotian said.

"You dare try to steal my person?"

Zhao Lin snorted coldly. She flicked her slender, soft sword.

The soft sword emitted a soft "hum".

The soft sword moved like a venomous snake emerging from its hole, aiming straight for Li Haotian's throat.

The sword tip gleamed with an eerie light. It moved with incredible speed.

Li Haotian didn't move. He simply nudged it gently with the steel bar in his hand.

A crisp "ding!" rang out.

The soft sword instantly twisted and deformed. The blade looked like a twisted rope.

Zhao Lin's expression changed slightly. Her wrist felt numb.

"You!" Zhao Lin's eyes widened.

She hadn't expected that Li Haotian would render her soft sword useless with just a single steel bar.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Zhao Lin activated her bloodline ability. A purple light emanated from her body.

A beam of light enveloped her body. Her speed increased dramatically.

Zhao Lin's figure blurred. She tried to bypass Li Haotian and grab Lin Mo.

Her goal was clear.

She reached out and grabbed Lin Mo's shoulder.

Lin Mo hugged Li Haotian tightly. A purple light flashed in her pupils.

Lin Mo extended her slender fingers.

An invisible wave spread out instantly. The wave was silent and imperceptible.

The shockwave struck Zhao Lin. Zhao Lin's body froze.

She was frozen in mid-air. Her hand stopped a few centimeters away from Lin Mo.

Zhao Lin's face was filled with terror. She was unable to move.

Her pupils contracted.

"What is this?" Zhao Lin asked weakly. Her body was bound.

Lin Mo's purple light shimmered around her.

"Old Chen," Li Haotian said. He looked at Chen Dong.

"This little girl doesn't seem very honest," Li Haotian said again.

"Take her with you too," Li Haotian said, pointing at Zhao Lin.

"Okay," Chen Dong replied. He then directed the Dragon Shield team members to move forward.

The Dragon Shield team members were also shocked. They hadn't expected Zhao Lin to be subdued like that.

"Wait!" Zhao Zhong shouted again. His face was grim.

He looked at Zhao Lin, who was frozen in mid-air.

He saw the purple light flashing in Lin Mo's eyes.

"That's it!" Zhao Zhong's body trembled. He wanted to say something.

But the purple light on Lin Mo's body flashed again.

Zhao Zhong felt a chill. His body involuntarily retreated.

"Brother Dazhu, it seems the Zhao family is about to cause a big scene," Chen Dong said.

"It's alright," Li Haotian said, pulling Lin Mo along.

He prepared to continue into the ruins of the teaching building.

"Wu Sen is still underground," Su Wan reminded her.

"And we can't be careless with the Zhao family either."

Li Haotian did not turn around.

"Mm," Li Haotian responded. His expression was calm.

He knew the real trouble was yet to come.

From deep underground, a muffled roar echoed.

The ground shook again.

Wu Sen is still accumulating strength.

"Let's go." Li Haotian pulled Lin Mo along.

His figure once again rushed into the depths of the ruins.

He needs to find Wu Sen.

Clean everything up here completely.

He also faces other threats from the Zhao family.

And then there's the "boss" hiding behind the scenes.

These things, one by one, need to be dealt with thoroughly.
