The Prodigal Son

Yuan Dingguo spoke at length about his plans.

Very detailed!

Many of them contain wildly imaginative ideas.

Hearing Yuan Dingguo's plan, Qin Yu couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

After Yuan Dingguo finished speaking, Qin Yu looked at him with a smile, "The old man said I'm a lone wolf, and you're the same!"

"what?"

Yuan Dingguo was puzzled.

Xiong Quhu and Han Chong were also somewhat bewildered.

Lone Ranger?

How did he become a lone wolf?

Wasn't he planning to have his troops cooperate with their operations?

"A bunch of idiots!"

Qin Yu glared at the group with a smile, "Don't forget, we have reinforcements behind us!"

As Qin Yu finished speaking, the others were stunned.

"yes!"

Yuan Dingguo suddenly slapped his forehead, "We still have 20,000 elite cavalry! As long as we send men to help them break through Wangzhou Prefecture, we'll have over 40,000 elite cavalry!"

More than 40,000 elite cavalry!

There is still hope of encircling and annihilating Yan Wujiu!

Han Chong also realized what was happening and joked, "Commander Qin, that's not very fair! You said before that a fist should be able to be thrown out and also pulled back!"

They really underestimated Dong Heshang's troops.

It's definitely their maverick mentality at play.

They were all men who had followed Qin Yu through the Min-Chu allied forces. They always thought that this time would be the same for them. With just over 20,000 men, they would constantly maneuver against the enemy and gradually annihilate them.

"yes!"

Qin Yu said confidently, "Even if our reinforcements arrive, the same logic applies! Unless we can join forces with the reinforcements to launch a strong attack on Wangzhou Prefecture and remove this thorn in our side!"

However, given the current situation, he certainly cannot launch a full-scale attack on Wangzhou Prefecture!

If they were to attack, they would force the enemy forces in Wangzhou Prefecture to attack them!

"A direct assault on Wangzhou Prefecture is definitely not advisable!"

Yuan Dingguo echoed, then asked Qin Yu expectantly, "Has Commander Qin already sent someone to contact our reinforcements?"

"Um!"

Qin Yu nodded slightly, "Now we just wait for the person sent to contact Monk Dong to return..."

They need to arrange a time with Monk Dong.

They dispatched 10,000 troops from Shangxing to meet up with Monk Dong's forces.

If Zongbi tries to use the same tactics to stop Dong Heshang's troops, they will stab the person trying to stop them in the butt!

If Zongbi sends troops out of the city to attack them, then they can take the opportunity to deplete Zongbi's forces.

If Zong Bi's entire army were to remain in Wangzhou Prefecture, then Dong Heshang and his men could safely cross Wangzhou Prefecture and reunite with them.

He wants to turn Wangzhou Prefecture, this roadblock, into nothing!

Zong Bi could only watch helplessly as they joined forces with Dong Heshang's troops!

This is disgusting to Zongbi!

Yuan Dingguo was overjoyed and volunteered, "I will lead the troops to meet them when the time comes!"

"Can!"

Qin Yu agreed, "I'll ask Senior Ning to come with you then!"

He didn't know whether Zhao Po was in Dong Heshang's army.

However, under normal circumstances, Zhao Po should be with Xue Chengdao.

Zongbi was also a master.

Zong Bi should still be treated with at least some respect.

"good!"

Yuan Dingguo nodded emphatically, his eyes seemingly burning with a flame.

Early that morning, Gui San, who had gone to contact Monk Dong, returned.

Along with him came...

Old man?

Upon seeing Qin Fumeng, Qin Yu was momentarily stunned.

Qin Fumeng chuckled as he looked at Qin Yu: "What's wrong? It's only been a few days, and you don't recognize this old man anymore?"

"no……"

Qin Yu was taken aback. "Why are you here?"

"Why can't I come?"

Qin Fumeng glared at Qin Yu with a laugh, "If I hadn't come, you would have missed a crucial opportunity!"

"Fighter jets? What fighter jets?"

Qin Yu, Yuan Dingguo, and the others were all baffled.

At present, Zong Bi is hiding like a coward in Wangzhou Prefecture.

Yan Wujiu was still gathering troops in Pangzhou.

Where did these fighter jets come from?

We can't just let them charge straight at Huma with such a small force, can we?

Or does he think he can still fight Min Kingdom a few more times?

Qin Fumeng shook his head and smiled, "The opportunity to break through Wangzhou Prefecture!"

Qin Yu's expression changed. "You're not planning to launch a direct attack on Wangzhou Prefecture, are you?"

"nonsense!"

Qin Fu, puffing out his beard and glaring, retorted, "If we don't launch a full-scale attack, are we supposed to expect Zong Bi to abandon his defenses and fight you to the death?"

"No!"

Qin Yu refused without hesitation, "We just need to bring Dong Heshang's troops over; there's absolutely no need to launch a full-scale attack on Wangzhou Prefecture..."

As he spoke, Qin Yu then told him about the plan he had discussed with Yuan Dingguo and others.

They were still discussing this at dusk!

He and Yuan Dingguo and the others unanimously decided not to launch a direct attack.

Now, the old man is about to launch a full-scale attack on Wangzhou Prefecture?

Isn't this using one's own weaknesses to attack the enemy's strengths?

Didn't they suffer enough at Zong Bi's hands back then?

At this point, there is absolutely no need to sacrifice human lives.

Having a plan is good, but you don't have the final say on this!

Qin Fu shook his head slightly, his attitude resolute: "You must cooperate with Monk Dong's troops to launch a strong attack on Wangzhou Prefecture!"

"It's not up to you to decide!"

Qin Yu's attitude was equally resolute. He feigned seriousness and said, "Duke of Wei, I am the Marshal of the Vanguard Army, personally appointed by His Majesty! I am subject to your command because you are my senior, my grandfather! It is only natural that I am not subject to your command!"

Hearing Qin Yu's words, Nan Que'er quickly and gently tugged at him.

How can you talk to an old man like that?

Isn't he trying to anger the old man to death?

"I knew you'd say that!"

Instead of being angry, Qin Fumeng laughed and pulled out a document from his person, slapping it onto Qin Yu's chest. "This is the order from Grand Marshal Xue Chengdao, the commander-in-chief of the campaign against Yan! Look at it yourself!"

Qin Yu's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly opened the warrant.

The order was simple: Qin Yu was to obey Qin Fumeng's command and capture Wangzhou Prefecture as quickly as possible!

crazy!

Didn't Xue Chengdao previously disagree with a forced attack on Wangzhou Prefecture?

Why have you suddenly changed your mind?

Qin Yu suddenly raised his head. "I need to know why!"

Qin Fumeng shook his head: "An order is an order, there's no reason why!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Yu immediately produced the imperial gold medal, saying, "I suspect that Commander Xue was unaware of the situation on my side and thus issued incorrect orders. I refuse to carry out the orders!"

"reject?"

Qin Fumeng's face suddenly turned cold, and he stared sharply at Qin Yu. "Listen to me clearly, this is a battlefield. This token in your hand is useless! If you dare to disobey orders on the battlefield, don't blame me for showing no mercy!"

"Go ahead and kill me if you dare!"

Qin Yu's stubbornness flared up, and he glared at Qin Fumeng like a fighting rooster.

Bang!

Qin Fumeng kicked out directly.

Qin Yu did not dodge, and took Qin Fu's fierce kick, falling to the ground.

Qin Fumeng's kick was no joke; even with Qin Yu's strength, a trickle of blood escaped from the corner of his mouth.

Qin Yu remained unperturbed, his face still showing unwavering determination!

Nobody plays like them!

A direct assault would be playing with the lives of our soldiers!

"Qin Yu!"

"Thirteenth Young Master!"

"Commander Qin!"

Everyone rushed towards Qin Yu.

"Get out of my way, all of you!"

Qin Fu roared, his voice filled with murderous intent: "Guards! Qin Yu has disobeyed orders on the battlefield! Immediately remove him from all posts! After giving him one hundred lashes, escort him to the capital and hand him over to His Majesty for judgment!"

"..."

Everyone was stunned by Qin Fumeng's words.

Is he really going to do something serious?

Qin Yu's heart clenched painfully. He quickly scrambled to his feet, glaring at Qin Fumeng, "Old man, are you serious?"

"You think I'm joking with you?"

Qin Fumeng's expression was serious, his eyes fixed on Qin Yu.

Qin Yu was furious, feeling both frustrated and angry: "I don't understand!"

He simply couldn't understand it; the old man and Xue Chengdao were both veteran generals of Da Ning.

Why issue such a foolish order at this critical juncture?

"If you can't figure it out, take your time to think about it!"

Qin Fumeng shouted sternly, "But an order is an order, and it must be carried out!"
