One Yuan First Recharge: I'm Actually the Boss Behind a Fortune 500 Company

Chapter 47 Your Hao Hao is really capable of handling things!

Wang Hao slept soundly that night.

He was enveloped in the village's unique tranquility, free from the hustle and bustle of the city, with only the occasional bark of a dog and the sound of the wind in the distant fields.

He woke up naturally just after seven o'clock the next morning.

After getting dressed and stepping out of the room, I found the stove in the main room already burning brightly again. My mother, Li Xiuying, was preparing breakfast, and my father, Wang Jianguo, was sorting through the gifts that had been moved into the house the day before.

"Haohao, why are you up so early?" Li Xiuying looked up and saw her son, somewhat surprised. "There's nothing to do at home, so sleep a little longer."

Wang Jianguo also put down what he was holding: "Yes, I drove for so long yesterday, I need to rest today."

"I'm awake." Wang Hao walked to the stove and warmed his hands; the morning chill made him much more awake.

"Isn't Xiaoya busy today? As her older brother, I have to go and help her out."

Upon hearing this, Li Xiuying and Wang Jianguo exchanged a glance, both showing expressions of relief.

"This child has become sensible," Li Xiuying whispered to her husband.

Wang Jianguo nodded and turned to his son: "Then eat breakfast before you go over."

"Um."

A simple breakfast—porridge, pickled vegetables, and leftovers from last night, heated up.

Wang Hao ate quickly, and after putting down his chopsticks, he said, "Dad, Mom, I'm going over there now."

"Go ahead, go ahead," Li Xiuying said with a smile. "Take good care of your second uncle and aunt; they've had a tough time."

"Mom will come over after feeding the pigs."

Wang Hao responded, washed his face, and went out.

His house and Xiaoya's house are next to each other, and the two houses share a yard.

Wang Hao's house is on the east side, Xiao Ya's house is on the west side, and there is a fairly spacious open space in between.

As soon as I entered the courtyard, I heard lively voices coming from Xiaoya's house—many relatives and neighbors had already arrived to help.

"elder brother!"

Xiaoya came out of the house and saw Wang Hao. Her eyes lit up: "You're up?"

"Hmm." Wang Hao walked over and looked his sister over.

Xiaoya wore a red sweater and light makeup today. Although she looked a little tired, she was in good spirits.

"Did you go to bed late last night?" Wang Hao asked.

"It was alright, I chatted with some friends until after midnight," Xiaoya said with a smile, then leaned closer and lowered her voice:

"Brother, is that BMW in the yard yours?"

Wang Hao smiled and said, "Yeah, I took out a loan."

"That's amazing, bro!" Xiaoya's eyes lit up even more. "That's incredible!"

At this moment, Xiaoya's father, Wang Hao's second uncle Wang Jianmin, came out of the house.

"Haohao's back?" Uncle smiled when he saw Wang Hao. "Xiaoya told me you drove back?"

"Second Uncle," Wang Hao greeted him, "Yeah, you bought a car for getting around."

"Good, good!" Uncle patted Wang Hao on the shoulder. "Our Hao Hao has made something of himself!"

That's what he said, but Wang Hao could see the complexity in his second uncle's eyes—a mixture of relief and a touch of melancholy.

"Second Uncle, if there's anything I can help you with today, just let me know," Wang Hao changed the subject.

"Oh, it's nothing serious, just some odd jobs." Uncle waved his hand. "You just got back, get some rest."

"No way, it's my sister's wedding, I, as her older brother, have to help out." Wang Hao said, glancing around the yard.

There were already many tables and chairs set up in the courtyard, and several women were washing and preparing vegetables.

In rural areas, banquets are usually hosted by family banquet teams, but relatives and neighbors will come a day in advance to help out.

"Xiaoya, is there anything I can do for you?" Wang Hao asked, turning his head.

Xiaoya thought for a moment and said, "Brother, I've already finished decorating the wedding room."

"Why don't you check what else is missing from the yard today?"

Wang Hao nodded and walked around the yard.

The threshing ground is a dirt surface, and although it's flat, we'll be setting up a dozen or so tables for a banquet tomorrow, with lots of people coming and going, so we need to plan ahead.

He took out his phone and checked the weather forecast—it was going to rain tomorrow.

"Xiaoya, the weather forecast says it will rain tomorrow." Wang Hao pointed to the yard. "We need to build a shed for this open space."

"A tent?" Xiaoya was taken aback. "This...we didn't prepare one."

"It's not too late to prepare now," Wang Hao said, glancing at the several middle-aged men who were helping out beside him.

"Uncle, who in our village makes this? They build sheds."

A man who was moving a table looked up: "Setting up a shed? Old Chen's family does this. His son does renovations in town and has the materials for those rain sheds."

"Is there a phone?"

"Yes, yes, yes, let me look." The man took out his phone and flipped through his contacts.

Wang Hao took the phone and dialed the number directly.

"Hello, Uncle Chen? This is Wang Hao from Wang Jianguo's country."

"Yes, Xiaoya is getting married tomorrow and wants to set up a tent... The yard is about fifteen meters long and ten meters wide."

"Yes, it's today... Could you come and take a look? Sure, I'll wait for you."

After hanging up the phone, Wang Hao looked at the power lines around the yard.

The existing wiring consists of a single old aluminum wire running out of the house and connected to a few sockets.

"This wire won't do," Wang Hao frowned. "We need to use lights, stereos, and maybe an induction cooker tomorrow. This wire is too thin; it can't handle it."

He walked to the wall and looked at it carefully: "We need to re-draw some routes."

My second uncle came over: "Well... we don't know anything about electricity."

"It's alright, I know a little bit," Wang Hao said, then asked the man from before:

"Uncle, do you have the phone number of Mr. Zhao, the electrician in town? The old Mr. Zhao who has been doing this for over thirty years."

"Yes, yes, yes, let me look for it."

Another call was made.

"Mr. Zhao, this is Wang Hao. I'm having a banquet at home and I'd like to rewire the house... Yes, I need to make sure the lighting and sound system work. Do you have time to come over today? I'll pay by the day, and I'll use good quality materials... Okay, I'll wait for you."

The two calls were made in less than ten minutes.

Xiaoya watched from the side, her eyes filled with surprise: "Brother, you... you're so efficient!"

Uncle was also stunned: "Haohao, where did you learn all this from?"

Wang Hao smiled; he didn't know either!

Perhaps it was seeing his employees doing everything methodically in the game that subtly influenced him to change as well?

should be.

So I just made up a reason: "My previous workplace often had events, so I got used to it!"

Xiaoya nodded, feeling inexplicably at ease; her brother seemed to have really changed!

Wang Hao walked around the courtyard again, pointing as he went:

"We need to put some large trash cans here. There will be a lot of people tomorrow, and we can't let the trash be littered."

"That corner needs to be cleared out to put spare tables and chairs."

He would write down each item he mentioned in his phone's notes app.

The relatives and neighbors who came to help all saw it.

A woman in her fifties was picking vegetables and said quietly:

"Hey, look at Wang Hao, he's really different from before. He speaks and acts so logically and methodically."

The middle-aged man next to him nodded: "Yeah, look at the way he's making the call, so decisive and efficient. He doesn't seem like a young man in his twenties at all!"

"He works in the city now! He drives a BMW, he might even be a minor manager!"

"Really? That's amazing!"

"Absolutely! Look at all the things he arranged—building sheds, laying electrical wires, checking safety... these are all real, hands-on tasks. Unlike some young people who just come home and play on their phones."

These words reached Wang Hao's parents' ears intermittently.

Li Xiuying and Wang Jianguo were helping to set the table when they heard someone praising their son. They looked at each other and couldn't help but smile.

"Sister-in-law, your Hao Hao is so well-behaved!" a neighbor said with a smile as she walked over. "Look at him, running around doing everything. He's not just here as a guest, he's clearly here to take charge!"

Li Xiuying said modestly, "Oh, the child is still young and doesn't understand. He's just busy doing nothing."

But the smile in his eyes was impossible to hide.

Wang Jianguo waved his hand and said, "He just loves to worry."

"This isn't just worrying unnecessarily!" the neighbor exclaimed.

"How many young people in our village are like him?"

"All he does when he comes back is ask for money, or he hides in his room playing video games. Your Hao Hao is taking responsibility for things; he's really grown up!"
