Chapter 200 How to Prove It Yourself

After a trek of more than half an hour, Batman, leading the group of young Titans, finally found another special bat cave.

It is located approximately 500 meters underground in Gotham.

Judging from Tim's surprised and unfamiliar expression, the secretive nature of this bat cave is quite remarkable.

Even Tim was here for the first time.

"You have secret bases that we don't know about?"

Tim asked tentatively, and by "we" he was undoubtedly referring to the entire Bat family.

Batman merely glanced at Tim, who immediately understood the answer Batman hadn't explicitly stated.

Tim was speechless for a long time before finally managing to squeeze out a sentence.

"How much is left?"

When faced with this second question, Batman didn't even offer a response.

After watching Batman somehow verify the incredibly realistic heavy rock at the end of the tunnel and transform it into an open gate, Rachel mentioned it with a slight surprise.

"I sense a magical aura here—Batman is skilled in magic?"

Actually, Rachel wanted to send this message to Lee Jung telepathically, but she was so surprised that she blurted it out unconsciously.

The other Titans thought Rachel was asking them a question, and after exchanging glances, they all shook their heads.

This time, however, Batman didn't hold back.

"I'm not good at magic, I'm good at prevention."

"This is a secret room that I asked Zatana to build back then, with the intention of addressing situations in the future where only magic could solve the problem."

"That kind of virus can corrode machinery and electronic products. In Gotham City's current environment of ubiquitous high concentration, there simply isn't enough time to establish a complete set of experimental conditions, from observation to analysis."

Fortunately, this time, the entire Justice League that arrived in Gotham City did not include any purely magical heroes.

Zatana and several other pure magic-based heroes rarely operate with other heroes. Even Wonder Woman and Aquaman, being non-League members, are currently staying in their respective territories.

Shazam, by being demoted to a Teen Titan, avoided the fate of being infected and falling victim to the virus along with other Justice League members.

"Although they are slightly different, the way this virus evolves after infecting the human body reminds me of Amorozond.

Batman offered a brief explanation.

"I suspect there might be some connection between the two, and if that's the case, this is the last safe place in Gotham."

Tim stopped somewhat awkwardly, watching Batman busily working amidst the rather cluttered array of equipment.

"So, what is the purpose of our visit here?"

Batman, with his back to Tim, paused slightly, and while no one could see his face, he reached out and clutched his injured abdomen, taking a few deep breaths.

To the other Teen Titans, it was just Batman's usual aloof silence.

"To solve the problem, we must first understand it. I plan to observe and analyze the nature of this virus here. If it is indeed similar to the operating logic of the Amozzo, perhaps we can find more entry points."

Tim raised his hand somewhat awkwardly, but Batman, who was busy with his back to him, didn't see it at all.

After hesitating for two seconds, Tim simply clenched his fist and coughed twice.

This immediately drew Batman's attention, his voice filled with vigilance and a hint of worry.

"You're infected?"

"What?! No, no, no."

Tim waved his hands repeatedly.

"In fact, we have observed the structure of this virus and analyzed its nature using an analyzer."

Seeing Batman's skeptical look, Tim simply brought the virus sample that Jason had painstakingly controlled within Gotham's territory, which they had previously used a collection robot to bring to the Titan submarine on the surface of the sea. After observation, Li Zhen then revealed the destruction of the submarine.

"Because I already understood the structure of the virus, after entering Gotham, I went straight to a bat cave and used an analyzer to collect more detailed data."

Tim finished explaining the whole story in one breath, and then the surrounding area fell into complete silence.

Batman stood there for a long time (actually catching his breath), then strode towards Tim.

Tim immediately panicked.

Batman's appearance is so much like an angry parent, coupled with the already oppressive atmosphere and the terrifying legends of Gotham's nighttime demons that have spread to other cities.

Mar quickly stretched out an arm to shield Tim.

"I know our reckless actions almost leaked the virus to the whole world, but the worst has not yet happened, and Tim did help in some ways—"

Batman shoved Mar's arm away, pressed his hands on Tim's shoulders, and sank down.

At this moment, the young Titans finally heard Batman's disordered breathing, which he could no longer suppress.

Tim, Cassandra, and Mia all had considerable experience with this, and they immediately knew that Batman was in a state of serious injury that he could no longer sustain.

"Batman, you—"

'

Before Tim could fully express his concern, Batman interrupted him with a follow-up question.

"Where's the data?"

"Now that you've finished, where is the virus analysis data?!"

Tim stared with his mouth agape, instinctively touching his pockets, before suddenly remembering something.

"The data is with the instructors."

Batman instinctively turned his head and looked at Rachel, while his body slumped down again, putting almost all of his weight on Tim.

Tim quickly braced Batman's arm and gently felt around him. When his hand finally touched Batman's waist and abdomen, it felt like it had been thickly bandaged through the armor.

Rachel's pupils looked unfocused for a few seconds before she came to her senses.

"Li Zhen is asking you, given your current condition, are you certain that a cure for the virus can still be developed?"

Batman didn't say anything immediately, but after catching his breath, he pointed to a Batcomputer that seemed to be casually placed in the corner of the secret room.

But Rachel stood still and didn't move.

Batman urged him on.

"Quickly, Jason can roughly track our movements through the virus that covers the entire city. The longer it goes on, the more this secret room will be to Jason like Superman looking at Lex Luthor's mansion—the only place he can't see through is our hiding place."

This time, Li Zhen's calm voice actually came from under Rachel's hood.

"But what if you've already been infected?"

Batman.

Batman was taken aback, seemingly for the first time being questioned.

"What did you say?"

"In the stories you told before, I always felt like there was something wrong with them."

Li Zhen's voice continued to come through.

"It seems that Jason, whom you mentioned, has two states after being infected with the virus."

"On one hand, he was using all his willpower to fight against the virus, and thus he contained the virus in Gotham City."

"On the other hand, the virus took advantage of this to lure the entire Justice League into the scheme."
