Chapter 216 Playing with Clay

Li Zhen's lips twitched.

What's wrong with Constantine? Why is he so vengeful and even acting so arrogantly?

"I just wanted to take a break. You don't really think I can't handle this guy, do you?"

"Yeah?"

Constantine, of course, thought that Li Zhen was just being stubborn, so he simply stopped talking and started nimbly dancing his fingers in the air.

Before he came into contact with magic in his early years, Constantine spent many years wandering the streets and alleys, and was even a complete rock and roll youth.

Using the elastic filaments of the plastic figure distributed in the air, the guy directly played a few syllables in response.

Upon hearing this, Mal scratched his cheek in confusion.

"It sounds like something a Southern rock band would do."

Constantine glanced at Mar with some surprise, seemingly astonished that such a young boy had such taste.

Li Zhen ignored Constantine's show and turned to look at the plastic mannequin that was still swinging its fists at him wildly.

His expression shifted several times before finally returning to an extreme indifference that had not been seen on Earth for a long time.

"If you're lucky enough to survive this, I hope you won't blame me too much after you regain consciousness."

"ha?"

Just as the plastic figure managed to utter a questioning sound from another pair of lips that had grown from its chest, one of its rounded arms, which was swinging towards Li Zhen's chest, was swiftly caught in its palm.

The plastic man paused his punches with the remaining arm, feeling the increasing pressure on his wrist as Li Zhen grabbed it, and couldn't help but sneer.

"Are you planning to break the bones in my wrist?"

Li Zhen's eyes moved slightly, meeting the gaze of the plastic figure.

A kind of indescribable terror suddenly gripped the heart of the plastic man.

"I plan to melt you completely."

Before the plastic man could react, Li Zhen grabbed his arm and slammed it down.

Then another hand came over, intertwining with the arm that had been holding the plastic figure, and began to spin rapidly.

If we were to draw an analogy, it would be like the alternating, alternating strikes of the "Sun-shaped Punch" in a martial arts action film shot by a neighboring Eastern power.

However, Li Zhen threw out thousands of punches in just a few seconds.

The roar of the violent cyclone mixing and churning the air completely drowned out and swallowed up the terrified screams of the plastic man.

His body, which theoretically possessed infinite elasticity, was like yarn being rolled up by a machine, spinning and contracting towards the center point that had initially been grasped, following the swirling gale in front of Li Zhen.

The body parts that had been thrown away by the blows began to retract rapidly under the enormous spiraling force.

Even the elastic silken cages built around the Teen Titans were pulled back, but the teenagers still couldn't move away.

Because at this moment, a super hurricane with an extremely violent, horizontal spiral has been generated with Li Zhen as the center point.

Not only were the Teen Titans blown off balance and staggered, but even street trash, glass, metal scraps, pebbles, and streetlights were lifted up, flying through the air with cement chips and twisted screws.

Before the plastic man's eyes and lips, which had grown wantonly on other parts of his body, could utter a complete plea for mercy or reveal a complete expression of fear, Li Zhen gathered them up like yarn in the constantly spinning rubber ball between her arms.

Finally, the disguised clown head that had initially flown off to who-knows-where—which was actually the real head of the plastic man—was also pulled back.

He shed his disguise, his head, chin, and neck stretched to a length of tens of meters, his comical sunglasses and grotesquely swollen hair rattling wildly in the raging airflow.

Indistinct sounds came from the plastic figure's throat.

"No—no, I was wrong."

"Whoosh, snap!"

With just that faint sound, the entire body structure of the plastic man was wrapped up in a rubber ball about the size of one and a half basketballs by Li Zhen's arms.

Li Zhen's movements finally stopped, and the messy things that had been flying around in the air fell to the ground in disarray.

But Li Zhen only stopped her circling motion.

The next second, he started kneading it quickly again.

Normally, when a plastic mannequin is compressed to this size, and considering the increased rigidity due to the opponent's subconscious resistance, its hardness and toughness should have reached a certain limit after being shrunk to this volume.

Its hardness alone is enough to rival that of diamond.

Its toughness is unmatched by any conventional material on Earth.

But Li Zhen simply kept kneading and patting the plastic figure with the same expression. With each gentle shake, a clear handprint would sink into the sphere formed by the plastic figure.

For Li Zhen, whose power is enough to shake planets, even if the strength of the plastic man being repeatedly rolled up and compressed exceeds that of diamonds, it would not be more difficult for him than kneading a piece of real clay.

His palms were like a pair of ever-shrinking gates of hell, slowly but firmly pushing the once arrogant and domineering plastic man into the abyss of despair.

Only then did Li Zhen speak softly.

"You always feel like you're being ignored by the team."

At this point, the plastic ball had reached the size of a soccer ball.

"That's all because of yourself—whether it's funny or serious, that kind of personal style doesn't really matter. It's just because you're not perfect enough. The extent to which you use your superpowers means you can only ever solve a small portion of the problems."

The plastic figure was smaller than a rugby ball, with only a narrow eyeball showing on its surface, staring in astonishment at the unhurried Li Zhen.

"But there are actually many ways to solve the problem, just like you think you can perfectly restrain me who only has physical strength."

"We all know your weakness is extreme temperatures, and you think I don't have Superman's freezing breath, and the energy projection I finally learned doesn't have the same endurance as Superman's heat vision."

"But have you considered that I have single-handedly slaughtered billions of intelligent beings? Do you really think I haven't encountered an opponent with more formidable abilities than you?"

The plastic man was almost the size of a tennis ball, and Li Zhen wasn't even sure if the man, compressed to this extent, could still hear him.

"The virus has expanded your mental capabilities and seemingly made you more dangerous, but your new technique of stretching your body structure to near nanofibers and contracting it at high speed still amazes me."

The plastic figure had grown to the size of a billiard ball, large enough for Li Zhen to completely cover with her palms together.

He held up the small ball, which was a mixture of red, yellow, and black, and whispered words of encouragement.

"Improve yourself, Patrick, then no one will ignore you."

Li Zhen gently clasped her hands together, isolating the plastic figure from the last glimmer of light from the outside world.

I heard that Superman can grab a handful of sand in the desert and then mold diamonds out of his bare hands?

Li Zhen wasn't sure if the rumor was scientifically sound; he knew that diamonds often require a high-temperature, high-pressure environment to form.

However, in a closed, high-pressure environment, given his own strength, he should be able to do it by clenching his hands, just like Superman.

Under adiabatic compression, high pressure will generate corresponding high temperature.

Plastic figures are almost impossible to kill by physical means, but high or low temperatures can alter their physical properties, causing them to melt and become immobile, or freeze and become brittle and fragile.

Although neither of these methods can kill the guy, they are enough to render the plastic man incapacitated for a short period of time.

As for whether the dark, high pressure created solely by clenching his hands would cause Patrick some kind of psychological trauma afterward, Li Zhen couldn't guarantee that.

He did initially want to ask Constantine if he had any means to create low temperatures, but the guy's attitude was too arrogant, so in the end Li Zhen decided to solve it himself.
