"We need a strong ally."

Constantine briefly explained his thoughts.

"The source of that lurking gaze is unfathomable, so before everything is fully prepared, we must first find someone capable of matching their strength."

Doctor Fate subconsciously pointed to his helmet.

"Do you think Naboo is strong enough?"

Li Zhen's eyelids twitched as she listened. Judging from Doctor Fate's words, this guy seemed to have a way to call Naboo out as a henchman.

Constantine was speechless for a long time before slowly shaking his head.

"I have no intention of offending the name of God Nabu. The power of fate and order is indeed strong, but after all, God Nabu has lost his physical body and can only reside in his spirit form now..."

Hearing this, it's clear that Constantine already had someone in mind.

Moreover, this guy only wanted to use Doctor Fate's magic to achieve a certain goal, rather than having Doctor Fate actually help him find an alternative solution.

While most of the key characters in the Injustice universe have indeed changed somewhat, their fundamental nature remains the same.

Li Zhen became more wary of Constantine, who seemed like a good father. However, she remained outwardly calm and even offered Constantine a way out.

"Who else can we find to act as this powerful henchman?"

Constantine's desire to talk grew stronger, and he pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. But after taking out only half of it, his gaze involuntarily drifted toward his daughter beside him, and a hint of struggle appeared on his face.

He put the cigarette away and began to scrutinize Li Zhen for the third time.

"I have a pool of people available, but the more detailed plan still needs to be refined."

After saying that, Constantine abruptly stood up, his eyes red, and began rubbing his nose. He then asked Doctor Fate to temporarily house John Rose.

Doctor Fate, seeing Constantine's drug-addict-like state, waved his hand to reassure him.

Constantine let out a long sigh, then hurriedly left the mage tower while eagerly reaching for his cigarette case.

A moment later, Li Zhen also stood up while rubbing her nose.

"I'll come pick Rob up later."

Dr. Fate was somewhat surprised.

"You're a smoker too?" "...More or less."

Li Zhen turned to take his leave, and then, through the manipulation and application of divine power, left the mage tower in the void.

He then went directly to a suburb of Liverpool, England.

Just now, when Constantine made eye contact with him for the third time, he gave him a subtle signal.

With a strange feeling, Li Zhen walked towards the man who was standing in the shadows of the woods, smoking.

Honestly, even in an equal exchange, he had a hard time figuring out what Constantine was thinking.

This person's acting skills and deception level are top-notch.

Hearing Li Zhen's footsteps, Constantine turned his head slightly, shook out another cigarette from his cigarette case, and waved it at Li Zhen.

Li Zhen shook her head and refused.

Constantine put away his cigarette, but even when he glanced sideways, his eyes never left Li Zhen's face.

He then even turned around, blowing smoke rings as he observed.

He seemed to be confirming something, his stubble-covered face drawing closer. "You seem to know me very well, but I have absolutely no recollection of you, so you're a visitor from another universe, right?"

Li Zhen did not respond, but only urged him on.

"Is there anything more informative?"

Constantine clicked his tongue.

"My original plan was to kidnap the ravens of this world and lure the Three Palaces Demon into appearing in the world."

Li Zhen's expression remained unchanged; she simply nodded slightly.

"and then?"

"But I couldn't find any trace of the raven."

Constantine licked his dry lips; he hadn't actually drunk a drop of the tea that Doctor Fate had offered.

In Li Zhen's mind, Rachel's questioning voice echoed.

Why did he emphasize this to you?

"I'm not quite sure either. Constantine's methods are numerous and varied. He didn't track down the ravens of this world, but perhaps he discovered the traces of shadow magic you left on me." Then, Li Zhen had another fleeting question.

How exactly does the multiverse work?

The raven in this universe is not the Rachel he knows, but what about Trigon?

Could it be that even that supposedly incredibly powerful extradimensional demon couldn't escape the arrangement of the multiverse, with an average of one Sangoku demon existing in each universe?

That shouldn't be the case.

Parallax, as a lampbeast of the Legion of Terror and the "naturally divine" source of cosmic fear energy, is suspected to possess unique properties, and may even be unable to appear simultaneously in the observable past and future in a certain sense.

Surely the rank of the Triple Demon isn't lower than that of the Parallax Monster?

"I've heard of Sannomiya's existence, but even if you capture Raven, how will you contact that being?"

Li Zhen deftly tossed the question back to Constantine.

Constantine's eyes lit up immediately.

"Are you able to contact the raven?"

He then immediately explained his words and actions. "I didn't necessarily choose kidnapping as a means, but it was an expedient measure. Everyone knows that Raven hates her demonic father, but I really wasn't confident that I could persuade Raven to cooperate with this plan in such a short time."

Li Zhen nodded and then shook her head.

"I can indeed contact Raven, but I don't want to let an extradimensional demon in. Using one enemy to devour another is not a good strategy."

Constantine seemed a little anxious.

"The universe can't get any worse!"

"Then perhaps our definitions of 'bad' are different."

Li Zhen increasingly felt that Constantine had no bottom line.

"I have witnessed the world corrupted by the Trigon (the Emperor route), and even the rule of the Superman regime seems like paradise in comparison."

Constantine paused for a moment and then began to smoke silently.

After finishing the entire cigarette, he said to Li Zhen thoughtfully.

"This is clearly not a difference in definitions, but rather a difference in our definitions of Trigon. The Trigon you saw was the real Trigon... You are from the main universe!" Before Li Zhen could even process Constantine's new keyword, she saw the cigarette butt that had fallen from the corner of his mouth instantly ignite the lawn beneath his feet the moment the spark landed.

A pre-engraved magic circle appeared in the flames, and the surrounding space began to distort.

Constantine then made an elegant turn and tried to back away.

Li Zhen glanced at the magical flames beside her and smiled helplessly.

"That's true. It's natural that Constantine, who has never dealt with me before, would try to scheme against me."

Now it was Constantine's turn to not have time to savor the hidden meaning behind Li Zhen's words.

Li Zhen opened her mouth and inhaled sharply, her powerful lung capacity creating a brief vacuum that pulled Constantine, who was trying to exit the magic circle, back towards her.

After the world spun around him, Constantine was not surprised to realize that Lee Jung was actually a monster with superhuman strength and miracles, until Lee Jung gently grabbed his collar.

He started trying to make amends.

But he obviously didn't know how Li Zhen usually treated the other Constantine.

Before he could even utter a word, Constantine had one of his fingers ripped off.

"Awooo—fuck!!!!" Then the magical flames shone brightly, teleporting both of them away.
