"Only the most beautiful opera deserves the most expensive shipping container."

Xiu En casually pulled a piece of rebar from the pile of scrap metal next to him and tapped the huge black metal box that was vibrating.

The sound made the penguin next to him curl up even tighter.

He swore that if something explosive jumped out, he would be the first to lie down and play dead.

This is the survival philosophy he gleaned from countless gang fights.

Solomon... was born... on... a Monday...

It was a low, murmuring sound, as if it were rising from the depths of a swamp.

As the sound rang out, the outer wall of the entire heavy container began to bulge outwards. The shrill sound of the twisting metal was like an amplified version of fingernails scratching a blackboard, giving everyone present except Ivy goosebumps.

"An English nursery rhyme? Is that the theme song for this box?"

Xiu En raised an eyebrow; the light emanating from him became slightly dazzling due to the negative energy emanating from the audio.

"Is this a plan to switch to an early childhood education institution? Ivy, let your pet give this unknown singer some motivation to go out."

The black gold carnivorous plant was already impatient.

The moment it received the command, its metal tentacles, like bottle openers, plunged directly into the gap of the container door. Then, with almost no effort, it tore off half of the container's iron door as easily as tearing open a can of sardines.

What rushed out was a suffocating musty smell and a roar loud enough to shatter truck windows.

"Solomon...we must get out!!!"

Even the well-traveled penguin couldn't help but let out a scream at this moment.

That was Solomon Grandi.

The immortal monster of Gotham legend, the nightmare that is said to have lived for a century and died for a century.

He was larger than any documented account described, his bluish-gray muscles emaciated from prolonged restraint and hunger, and a specially made electronic collar with a black mask around his neck.

He was like a bear that had just woken up from hibernation only to find that all the nuts he had stored had been stolen, his eyes bloodshot as he stared at the world before him.

He was very hungry.

he is very angry.

Xiu En, this bright and shining figure, was practically the biggest provocation to him on this dimly lit construction site.

"Just...not...sleep!"

Solomon, waving his arm which was even thicker than Hugh's thigh, tore off the iron chains that held him in place, and was about to smash the glowing light bulb into the ground.

Wow, that's really energetic.

Shuen took a step forward and caught the fist that could have flattened an ordinary truck with one hand.

boom--!

Spiderweb-like cracks appeared on the ground centered on the two people, and dust rose everywhere.

Solomon's massive body froze; he felt as if he had struck not a human being, but a mountain range.

The force that could split mountains and shatter rocks seemed to vanish into thin air, instead causing his own arm to go numb.

"Excellent skin toughness. Intelligence... well, probably around the same level as our dear Mr. Bill."

Xiu En gave the inspection a high rating, saying that even when he was hit, he felt like he had just received a vaccine.

"If you don't know any fancy magical attacks and are just a big guy who can only use physical attacks, then you're the most perfect talent on the Gotham construction site."

"What...?"

Solomon was stunned. This was the first time since his rebirth that someone had given him job advice after he had been beaten.

"Don't mention it, big guy."

With a flick of his wrist, Shum grabbed Solomon's wrist.

"Solomon wants to sabotage, is that it? Perfect."

Xiu En pointed to a section of dilapidated building ruins in the distance that had not yet been cleared, as well as more foundation stones buried underneath.

"See those stones? They're laughing at you. They're saying Solomon can't lift them. Are you angry? Do you want to prove to this construction site who's in charge?"

This simple provocation worked very well for Grandi, who had the mental capacity of a three-year-old and was bursting with anger.

"Who says... I wouldn't dare! Solomon... crush everything!!"

The giant roared and flung away Shuen's hand, charging towards the ruins like a bulldozer, its momentum a hundred times more efficient than a real excavator.

Bill and John watched as the monster that could tear apart tanks with its bare hands was swayed by the boss into becoming a fully automatic stone crusher. Their worldviews were shaken even more violently than the opening of the gates of hell.

"Remember to get him a work permit."

Shuen patted the trembling penguin next to him on the shoulder and casually took the gold button off the pocket of his suit jacket as a consultation fee.

"By the way, you probably have a big appetite. Mr. Copperpot, I don't think that's a problem for your vast wealth, is it?"

"no problem."

The penguin felt his legs were wobbling.

"This is absolutely the best security investment."

After all, buying a hamburger for this thing is far more worthwhile than getting killed by it.

However, Solomon was not made of steel. Although the Penguin cursed the wrong subordinate in his heart, he still tried to take responsibility.

"God is my witness, Mr. Shuen, I am a completely uninformed victim in this!"

Although Cobbler was wiping his forehead with a handkerchief, he managed to get his voice into Shuen's ears during the brief intervals between Solomon's booming voices.

"This is Roman... that madman in the black mask! This is the private container he secretly stored at my dock a week ago! He swore at the time that it was a batch of illegally imported Italian statues!"

The penguin didn't even dare to look at the Italian statue next to it, which was kneading a scrapped excavator into a ball like dough.

"Ever since that guy had both his arms broken by Batman and was thrown into jail a few days ago, my clumsy underlings have probably just been following warehouse clearance procedures, sending over unclaimed, soon-to-expire items as freebies..."

He pointed to his men, who had already cowered under the truck in fear, and said earnestly, "I thought that was the greatest show of sincerity for our new cooperation. Who knew it contained a century-old corpse?"

The penguin's monocle slipped down due to the oil and sweat on his face, but he didn't bother to fix it.

He just wanted to prove one thing: he didn't want to murder; he really just wanted to bribe someone.

As Xiu En listened to these tearful explanations, he reached out a hand and gently placed it on the penguin's still trembling shoulder.

The heat emanating from his palm instantly straightened Copport's aching back, making him feel like he was about to melt.

"Mr. Cobblestone, why bother explaining? It's an insult to your own talent."

Hugh's voice was full of genuine praise. This left the penguin even more confused.

"Are you saying I did a good job?"

The penguin asked tentatively, his voice a little weak.

"Of course! Look at your sharp eye!"

Shuen pointed to Solomon in the distance, who was punching open a partition of an underground parking garage.

"If this is the masterpiece of that incompetent subordinate you mentioned, then you absolutely must give him a raise. He identified the biggest pain point on the construction site: we don't lack steel plates, we lack people who can clean up those strange rocks underground!"

"As for the black mask!"
