Chapter 113 Immigration Plan
"Everyone, quiet down."
Bruce Wayne interrupted Green Lantern's childish argument as he tried to explain to Jason from another world why his ring was cooler than Jason's gun.
He stepped aside to make way for the corner of the main seat, and the light screen shifted, revealing the figure of a man he had never seen before.
It was a man wearing armor interwoven with gold and red. Unlike the ruggedness of Luther from another world, which was pieced together from the wasteland, this man exuded a kind of warm yet extremely powerful biological force similar to Superman.
Most importantly, he had a thick head of red hair, which made Luther subconsciously touch his own bald head and let out a meaningless click of his tongue.
"Alexander Luther".
Bruce gave the name.
"From that place known as Earth 3, the heart of the crime syndicate and the source of the threat we are about to face."
Alexander Luthor nodded slightly, but his gaze did not linger on Superman or Wonder Woman for long; instead, it fell on Shum.
"So should I call you my savior, or that careless prison guard?"
Alexander's voice carried a complex chuckle as he walked to the table. The sight of his golden armor making Xiu En swallow hard as he walked.
"That guy who calls himself an outsider, Afu, I had already been locked up in the dimensional rift for three whole months before you caught him."
"etc."
"That old butler is still imprisoning living people? Oh, damn it, let me see your situation!"
If it weren't for Ivy's vines holding him back, Hugh would have almost jumped off the table to inspect Alexander's armor material.
"I missed an epic blind box unboxing! What a rip-off! That's worth at least a ton of vibranium!"
"If you don't count the hundreds of threats I heard in that tiny dimensional box that you wanted to digest."
Alexander waved his hand, his expression gradually becoming serious.
"But it was precisely because you disrupted the outsiders' plans that Bruce found me with The Flash and that Ms. Zatanna."
He pointed to Barry Allen, who was trying to pretend he was just a passerby.
"In the past forty-eight hours, we not only went to the wasteland to bring that bald guy... sorry, I mean Lex and his resistance allies over, but also took a look at the edge of Minecraft Earth 3."
He stretched out his hand, and a golden lightning bolt condensed in his palm, drawing a red line on the holographic map.
"The gate is already loose. The outsider's plan to open the passage was to guide an army that was already knocking on the door."
"So that's why we're all gathered here for this dinner without pizza?"
The usually silent Aquaman Arthur stepped in, his trident pausing briefly on the ground. He was clearly not interested in any otherworldly invasion, unless the other side intended to drain the seawater.
"It's not dinner."
Batman regained control of the conversation, his gaze sweeping over every monster present.
"It's war preparation. Alexander brought the defense map of that world, and Lex brought the countermeasures logic for the crime syndicate leader. And we've formed a battle line; we're going directly to that world to fight!"
The holographic Earth model changed from azure to an unsettling red and black color scheme, and then another gray-white Earth model covered in scorched earth was dragged into view.
"This is a simple math problem, and also a necessary debridement operation."
Batman's voice is cold, yet it also reveals extreme rationality.
"Earth 3 has been drained of its resources by the so-called criminal syndicate's unscrupulous rule, and behind them, a behemoth capable of destroying the world is approaching. Whether we intervene or not, that world is destined to be destroyed."
He pressed a button, and countless arrows appeared on the red and black Earth, pointing to the gray and white wasteland world.
"We're not just going to fight. We're going to move. The Crime Syndicate wants our world? Fine, we'll take down their hideout and then pack up everyone else there, criminals or not, and dump them all into Lex's world."
All eyes were on Lex Luthor, who came from the wasteland.
Wonder Woman frowned.
"Are you crazy? I heard Bruce say that the people on Earth-3 are strange; even ordinary citizens there would slit their own throats for bread. Introducing a group like that into your world?"
"My world consists only of dead people, princess."
Wasteland Luther answered with a smile.
"And compared to zombies and mutated beasts, at least the living can communicate. Criminals? Where we're from, being alive is the only law. As long as they have hands and feet, whether they're used for farming or fighting mutated beasts, they're resources to me."
He looked at Batman.
He looked at Batman.
"I accept this deal. I can't afford your world, but I need people. Just help me, or even if you don't help me, just open a door for me and I'll take them in myself."
Shuen broke the heavy moral dilemma with a clapping performance.
"Isn't this just a massive relocation site? Now that everyone's gone, doesn't that mean the remaining building materials, bank vaults, and heavy equipment that couldn't be taken from Earth 3 are now ownerless?"
His gleaming eyes were fixed on Alexander Luther, who was wearing golden armor.
"Including those criminals who might put up a fight and dress like giant gold nuggets?"
Alexander Luther felt uneasy under that gaze and subconsciously increased Zamsa's energy shield.
"Those are the tyrants of that world. Yes, if you can defeat them, you can have their equipment as you please. But first, we have to win."
Alexander's eyes dimmed for a moment, then were replaced by a resolute look.
"My world is beyond saving. If destruction is inevitable, then preserving those hundreds of millions of lives—even if they've fallen, they're still alive and well—before destruction is the ultimate justice. Bruce is right; we need to strike first."
Clark Kent floated in mid-air, looking at the resolute-eyed good man Luther Alexander, then at the wasteland Luther who would even take criminals to survive, and finally at Shuen who was about to set off to rob someone.
"That sounds like an invasion."
Superman said in a low voice, but his clenched fist loosened.
"But it's still a rescue operation. If it's about saving people, whether from a fire or from a tyrant, count me in."
"Then stop talking nonsense!"
Aquaman grabbed the trident he had hidden under the table, seemingly thinking that getting into the water would keep him away from the man of light.
"Whether it's some imposter called Sea King or something else, as long as it's the sea, it's my home turf. Also, you'd better bring plenty of glue; I have a feeling someone might be tempted to gnaw on the foundations of that world."
