The straight-line distance from the amusement park to the iconic high-rise building, Wayne Tower, is just a matter of a few deep breaths for Shuen now.

But even the howling wind at a hundred meters high couldn't drown out the hoarse voice broadcasting through the hijacked channel that covered the entire city.

"Alright, let's count down! This is way more exciting than your mayoral election or some washed-up female celebrity's divorce case!"

The clown's voice was distorted by some kind of voice changer, and the laughter, which was filled with electrical noise, made the sunflower on Xiu En's shoulder, which had been slightly more energetic, roll up its leaves and cover its flower head.

"Is this sound frequency directed at plants? My chloroplasts are protesting."

Ivy's voice came out in a muffled tone.

Shuen slammed on the brakes, creating a visible golden shockwave, and hovered on the still-unfinished tower crane of the Wayne reconstruction project.

The layout of the venue was so simple that Xiu En wanted to yawn.

Batman, still clad in dark gray tactical armor, stood like a gargoyle atop the steel beams, facing the giant LED screen that occupied the entire unfinished facade.

On the screen, the green-haired, white-skinned madman is holding up two gaudy-colored remote controls.

On the suspended platform beneath Batman's feet, two extremely thin, high-strength steel cables each suspended two giant iron cages that were swaying wildly.

The wind was strong, and since the mouths of those people were taped shut, all that could be heard were whimpers like those of poultry awaiting slaughter.

"Isn't this that famous psychology quiz?"

Xiu En squinted, his all-knowing yet uninterested gaze fixed on the two cages.

"No matter which one you choose, if nothing unexpected happens in the end, it's a problem that shows the screenwriter's lack of skill."

"It's the trolley problem!"

Ivy corrected her.

"On the left are those Wayne Infrastructure engineers, and on the right, judging by their uniforms, they look like a bunch of unsuspecting GCPD members who just got off work?"

The clown on the screen is still chattering away:

"My dear little bat, I know you have some kind of no-kill principle, oh, how noble! How boring! Now, you have 60 seconds! No, now that our special audience has arrived, only 30 seconds left! Press the red button to cut the rope on the left. Press the blue button to freefall on the right."

"If you do nothing! Bang! Take off from both sides!"

Batman didn't move.

It is clearly calculating the physical possibility of a certain instantaneous double rescue.

Although, given the distance and the falling speed of the two cages, this possibility is almost a miracle.

Fortunately, God happened to be there.

He knew someone was coming.

The conspicuous heat source was hanging directly above his head.

"What are you hesitating about? That button is probably fake. Usually, these villains, just to see you break down, will end up making one button explode on both sides."

Xiu En's figure disappeared on the tower crane.

The next second, the metal broke.

Those were industrial metal bearings for two fixed pulley systems; metal was laughably fragile in front of Xiu En.

Just as Batman was about to fire his grappling hook, Shum grabbed the two main cables that were about to fall, as if he were carrying two vegetable baskets.

"This high-carbon steel tastes really good, a bit like whole wheat bread."

Xiu En hovered in mid-air, with the two heavy iron cages, each containing more than a dozen people, swaying beneath his feet. The enormous weight was meaningless to him, who was flying entirely on light energy at this moment.

He looked up at the image of the clown on the screen, whose expression was clearly frozen.

"Is this your dilemma? If you asked me whether to eat the alloy beam on the left or the bearing sleeve on the right first, I would also find it difficult to choose. So I'll take them all."

Then, with a flick of his wrist, a gentle yet firm golden energy surged down the cable, forming an invisible supporting force field at the bottom of the two cages.

"No! No, no, no! That's against the rules! You should be doing a moral interrogation!"

The clown on the screen started roaring, then the image shook. Just as the brightness of Xiu En's own body, which was enough to blind a camera, approached, the signal very wisely went black due to hardware overload.

"See, it's solved."

Shuen shrugged at the black tactical mastermind who had fallen silent again, and the sunflower on his shoulder obligingly clapped a few times.

"Hey, I never solve problems."

Shuen placed the two cages on a safe floor, and the engineers and police officers scrambled out, looking at Shuen with a hundred times more fear than they would at Batman.

"I was only responsible for dismantling the stool where the questions were set. Now, boss, does that count as overtime? I think you have no objection to paying these metal scraps as overtime pay?"

Batman took a deep breath and nodded slightly.

"That bearing is indeed quite old. It was on next month's replacement list."

"So, can this game be completed?"

"So, can this game be completed?"

Xiu En glanced at the bat computer terminal that was still flashing red codes.

"If he's playing hide-and-seek, I suggest we just blow up the whole map; he'll eventually come out."

The sunflower on my shoulder shook its leaves: "Are you trying to bury me too? Plant roots are very fragile."

Batman's fingers left a trail of afterimages as he typed on the holographic keyboard on his arm armor.

"The projection just now not only transmitted an image, but also sent back an encrypted confirmation signal. The clown is clever; he used the amusement park's announcements as a springboard."

Bruce pressed the Enter key.

On the screen, the frantically flashing red dot skipped over the amusement park, skipped over the abandoned factory, and finally settled on a location that terrified all Gotham police officers.

"Ace Chemical Plant".

When Batman uttered the name, his tone betrayed a weariness and disgust that he couldn't hide no matter how hard he tried.

"That's where he was born. It seems he's taking this very seriously."

"A chemical plant?"

"There must be a lot of those big, thick reactors there, right? The kind that haven't been touched much in their entire lives and smell like heavy metal deposits?"

"That's where he might be manufacturing nitrous oxide, not your cafeteria."

Sunflower patted Xiu En's face with its vines.

"And that place is full of damn industrial waste acid. You better control yourself and don't inhale the toxic fumes and ruin my greenhouse."

"Let's go, Bat. Let's go give that poor green-haired bastard some real care."

Xiu En crouched slightly, then flew towards the chemical plant.

A golden rainbow shot into the sky, carving a clear trail across Gotham's gloomy sky even above the clouds in broad daylight.

"Although I don't understand tactics."

Batman stared at the extremely arrogant streak of light, and in the end, he could only press the grappling hook and disappear among the buildings.

"But as bait, no one is more qualified than him."
