"Let's go to Arkham first. Come to think of it, I've been in Gotham for a while now, but I've never been here before."

Shuen pointed to the asylum shrouded in eternal gloom.

"That's the main course. The aroma that seeps from the ground there is the strongest, with a tangy and refreshing taste that's been fermenting for hundreds of years. "This place has become the canteen for that kind of thing, Shuen. If you don't want to get diarrhea from food poisoning, you'd better hurry."

Diana watched as the luminous figure broke off a half-meter-wide relief from the door and chewed it up like a chocolate bar.

With the gate damaged, the howling demonic voices inside abruptly ceased.

Half of the gate was digested in the stomach of that golden-haired glutton, and something rolled out from the dark mist behind the rock wall.

A humanoid creature, accompanied by a strange "hehehe" laugh, tumbled out of the doorway. It was only the size of a teenager, but its limbs were twisted in a bizarre way.

He was wearing a red and green uniform that was clearly corroded by acid and could barely cover his body.

The color scheme wasn't familiar to Diana, since Batman in this world hadn't trained Robin, but Shum recognized the robin's color scheme.

But the bird was clearly rotten.

Its skin was as pale as plaster, covered with bluish-black veins, and it wore a collar with rusty spikes around its neck.

On that face, which appeared pained even when laughing, two completely black eyes with no whites stared at the nearest heat source.

"Crow".

It lay on the ground, its head tilted like a spider, its voice sharp and piercing.

It revealed two rows of shark-like serrated teeth to Xiu En, who was covered in golden light and could be considered its natural nemesis.

Xiu En's expression was even more interesting than when he ate an apple with only half a worm in it.

His expression shifted from initial anticipation to confusion, and then to undisguised disgust as the deformed goblin bared its teeth at him.

"What is this thing? Robin?"

Xiu En even took a half-step back in disgust.

He pointed at the freak on the ground who was still making hissing noises at him, then turned to look at Diana behind him, who was already gripping the Sword of Vulcan.

"Don't tell me this is the main course. If you call this stuff that smells like rotting dead rats a major crisis, then I request to go back to the main ship right now and eat those tasteless robots."

The sunflower-shaped face had turned a deep purple.

Without hesitation, she swung the branch, summoning a clump of vines to try and sweep the filth away. But the moment the vines touched the creature's skin, the plant fibers withered and turned into black ash.

Diana's Lasso of Truth wrapped around the little monster's neck and limbs before it could reach for Shuen's knees with its dark claws.

"It is not a creature of this world. It carries the anti-life aura of that other world."

The goddess frowned and hissed, using one hand to lift the monster, which was still frantically tearing at the ropes and spewing blasphemous words even after being subdued, into the air. Golden divine power burned its skin along the ropes.

"Crow! Barbatos!"

The thing screamed in agony, its grotesque smile never fading.

Even while being burned, it would turn its neck 180 degrees to stare at Diana.

"That's really beneath you."

Xiu En kicked a nearby pebble with some disappointment.

His only feeling now was disappointment, like going to the best restaurant he'd ever heard about, only to be served a plate of fried vomit.

He extended a finger, and a wisp of real solar fire immediately ignited on it.

"Don't move, or I'll make you taste like that too."

Perhaps it was the absolute dominance of the Golden Crow, or perhaps it was the Golden Crow's intimidating power over dark creatures, but the monster, which had just been convulsing wildly in the lasso, froze. The Crow stuck in its throat, turning into a whimper similar to that of an injured puppy.

Xiu En nodded in satisfaction. Although the thing was ugly, it was at least a specialty of that world after the gate.

"I was originally going to burn it as firewood, but I think Bruce will really like this gift."

He looked at Diana.

"Pack it up, Goddess. We're going to give Bruce a surprise; I think this is important to him."
