Chapter 184 Energy Donuts and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Gravitational acceleration never shows mercy just because someone is a villain.

Stark Tower is now facing a major crisis.

A man-made meteorite named Iron Monarch.

"BOOM—!!"

With a loud bang, the powerless gray mech crashed heavily onto the glass dome on the top floor of the building.

Obadiah, along with a shower of debris, crashed heavily onto the observation deck above.

The immense impact caused the entire building to groan.

Tony Stark followed closely behind.

His thrusters spewed unstable flames, and he staggered a few steps in the chaotic landing site before regaining his footing. The golden gas reactor in his chest, a gift from Xiu En, was frantically warning of overheating.

"Pots! Get away from that big guy! Blow up the roof!"

He yelled at Pepper, who was hiding behind the control panel, but his voice was a step too slow.

Amidst the ruins, the massive mech, which appeared to be completely destroyed, suddenly lit up with a scarlet auxiliary eye.

Obadiah is still alive.

Not only did he not die, but the Iron Monger, who was no longer recognizable as human, actually managed to stand up, pushing aside the rubble covering him.

The massive robotic arm swept across, instantly forcing Little Chili, who was trying to get close, back.

"You really think you can beat me with those little tricks?! I can build as big as I want!"

Obadiah laughed wildly, and the Iron Monger's right shoulder popped open, as anti-tank missiles locked onto Tony, who could barely stand.

Although its left shoulder was gone and its armor was cracked from the cold, the MK3, with its remaining health depleted, was still incredibly vulnerable in the face of pure firepower.

"Young people these days rely too much on clever tricks!"

Before he could finish speaking, his radar went off the charts.

"What do you rely on? The speed of food delivery?"

A golden beam of light, almost turning night into day, descended from the sky and melted a large hole in the floor in front of the Iron Monger.

Xiu En walked out from there.

The golden light emanating from him would likely appear as an erupting solar flare on a SHIELD weather satellite image.

He glanced at the Iron Monger who was gathering his strength, then at Obadiah who had swallowed his harsh words because of his appearance, and gave a regretful look as if the dish hadn't cooled down yet.

"Your left shoulder does taste pretty good, but the industrial, synthetic flavor is too strong. Now, shall we talk about that blue donut on your chest?"

They didn't give Obadiah any time to react.

Xiu En raised his hand and gently hooked his index finger.

The metal was completely under Xiu En's control.

The six anti-tank missiles, which were originally in a launch standby state, suddenly seemed to have a mind of their own and turned around in the launch pod, defying the laws of physics, with their warheads pressing against the Iron Monger's own neck.

"You...you're a monster!"

Obadiah's fear overwhelmed his killing intent for a moment. He frantically tried to manipulate the fire control system, but every servo motor responded to the golden man's will.

At this moment, the metal betrayed its controller.

"I don't like eating this kind of filling with gunpowder, it's too spicy."

Xiu En snapped his fingers.

The missiles were instantly vaporized by a burst of golden energy, turning into six dazzling steam fireworks without even exploding.

Next came the major disassembly.

Amid Pepper Potts' horrified gasp and Tony's gleeful, amused gaze, the Iron Monger's armor plates peeled off piece by piece, as if being ripped from an orange by an invisible giant, accompanied by a twisting sound.

The exposed interior was laid bare in the night wind, and Obadiah, like a hermit crab stripped of its shell, huddled in the cockpit, shivering.

"This looks much better. Peeling it makes it not only more hygienic but also easier to eat."

Xiu En took a step forward, his figure flashing like light and shadow, and the next second he was already standing in front of the Iron Monarch's exposed breastplate.

His palm, wreathed in golden flames, pierced the still-powerfully operating core slot amidst the sizzling heat.

"No! That's mine! That's my future!!"

Obadiah let out a desperate scream, as if watching his soul being ripped away.

"That was my initial design, a palladium rotor structure. Don't make things up, it's really outdated."

Tony chimed in from the side, and although it was a lame joke, everyone could tell he was relieved.

Xiu ignored the noise.

He clenched his fingers, feeling the high-energy reactor tremble slightly under the overflowing divine power.

"Click".

Like picking a ripe apple.

The blue core that powered all of Iron Monger's insane energy was casually pulled out.

The massive steel body instantly lost its last vestige of life, crashing to its knees and turning into true scrap metal.

Xiu En held the heart, which emitted a faint blue light, and smelled it.

It has a strong smell of ionized ozone, mixed with the bitter aroma of metal.

"It is a bit rustic, yes. But as a souvenir from this otherworldly journey, I'll reluctantly accept it."

He glanced at Tony, and the smile on his lips widened.

Jin Guang surged again.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, the hardcore reactor that looked like it could only be controlled by the technological side rapidly shrank under the refining of the golden fire, and finally turned into a wisp of pure and clean blue-gold light, which he swallowed in one gulp like a whale sucking in water.

"belch."

A burp, accompanied by a slight electric spark, rang out.

Ivy fanned the air in front of her with a leaf in disgust, as if it really smelled awful.

After absorbing the energy of the entire reactor, Xiu En's Great Sun Projection Avatar solidified its previously slightly illusory edges as if cast from divine gold, and even the texture of its clothing became clearly visible.

He patted his belly and waved at Tony, who had a "this works?" look on his face.

"Thank you for the treat, Mr. Stark. It seems you're not as fragile as I thought."

The wind was strong on the top floor of Stark Tower, which dispersed some of the smell of gunpowder, but it couldn't dispel the tension of surviving a catastrophe.

Pepper Potts' hands were still trembling, her adrenaline had subsided.

She took out Tony's treasured champagne from the surviving bar refrigerator, perhaps to celebrate that everyone was still alive.

"This is Tony's treasured possession, and I think it deserves this moment."

She poured a glass, the amber liquid shimmering in the crystal, and handed it to the glowing man who had just dismantled the Gundam with his bare hands.

Xiu En accepted the wine glass.

He glanced at the delicate bubbles rising in the glass, frowned slightly, and then tilted his head back to take a sip.

The next second, he subtly pushed the exquisite crystal glass back onto the broken marble tabletop.

"It smells like sour, rotten fruit peel, and there's a pointless filling of gas."

Hugh made no reservations in his review of the wine.

He reached into his trench coat pocket, rummaged around for a while, and pulled out a small round biscuit that he had just gotten his hands on on the other side.

"Crunch."

The sound of chewing drowned out the long wail of sirens in the distance.

The cookies made by Alford are still the best.

Xiu En chewed with satisfaction, his expression a hundred times more vivid than when he was drinking champagne.

"Ah Fu's cooking is still more substantial; only the accumulation of carbohydrates and calories can soothe the stomach."

Tony Stark was sitting beside the pile of rubble, having his armor removed by a robotic arm, when he saw this scene, his brilliant mind quickly processed it.

This strange person, who might even eat missiles like candy, clearly has a taste system completely different from that of carbon-based humans.

Do you prefer something harder? Or something with higher energy density?

Tony pointed to the still-functioning reactor on his chest, though dimmed, his tone carrying the shrewdness of a businessman and the relief of a survivor.

"Although I don't have any stock right now, I'm the boss of Stark Industries. As long as the production line is up and running, I can make you a dozen of those glowing blueberry donuts, which are the old Arc Reactor cores."

Xiu En stopped chewing the biscuit.

His eyes turned to Tony, a gleam of interest flashing within them.

"Blueberry flavor? And the kind with an electric arc texture?"

"Describe it however you like. As long as you promise not to use the load-bearing columns of my building as chew toys in the future, I'll give you my fill."

Tony spread his hands, making a grand promise.

If he were to trade that little bit of energy for a friend who could crush an Iron King with his bare hands, it would definitely be the most worthwhile deal he'd ever made.

Just as the two sides were about to reach a cross-dimensional dietary agreement, an uninvited guest arrived.

Several black, streamlined fighter jets hovered quietly outside the building, their searchlight beams politely but forcefully locking onto the platform.

A group of agents dressed in black suits and wearing sunglasses slid down the rope in perfect unison, clearly treating cleaning up messes as a routine job.

The leader was a middle-aged man with a slightly high hairline and a professional smile on his face.

Phil Coulson.

He glanced at the wrecked Iron Monger, its skin peeled off, and merely raised an eyebrow slightly, as if it were a pile of illegal trash on the roadside.

"Mr. Stark, it seems we need to talk about tonight's fireworks display. Director Fury is very interested in your energy readings, especially that glowing gentleman."

Coulson's gaze passed over Tony and landed on Shum.

His sunglasses reflected the golden figure, who was clearly assessing something.

"I don't care what your one-eyed chief thinks, but if he doesn't provide me with something better than a sandwich, I'll dismantle his ship."

"Yes, of course, we can provide you with long-term meal tickets."

Xiu En patted the biscuit crumbs off his hands, and the crumbs were vaporized by divine power before they hit the ground.

He turned to look at Tony, whose golden sunflower, Ivy, lazily draped its leaves over his collar, seemingly not wanting to look at the agents.

"Since you have that promise of a long-term meal ticket, I'll reluctantly go with you."

Shuen's body hovered slightly, and at Coulson's gesture, he floated toward the Quinjet that had just opened its hatch.

He acted as if he were returning to his own backyard, and casually commented on the materials used in the fighter jet.

"The wings of this plane are too thin."

Tony shrugged and pointed to the fighter jet at Pepper, who looked helpless.

"Looks like we're going to meet that secret society. Don't worry, I'll be right back. I'll also see if I can get some S.H.I.E.L.D. funding for this benefactor to reimburse him for the champagne."
