Chapter 256 Three Xiu Ens, Three Ivys, Local Area Network Not Interconnected

The gates of Wayne Manor were pushed open from the inside.
Two more Xiu'en emerged.
One of them, Shuen, looked even more radiant, emanating a pure, luminous glow from the sun at all times.
He held a war bow in his hand that shone with a golden luster. The bow seemed to be forged from sunlight, and even without a bowstring, it radiated a terrifying heat.
The other Xiu En appeared more ordinary, but he was playing with a uniquely shaped metal short arrow, which was wrapped in a gentle white light that made everyone present feel inexplicably at ease, a light formed from countless prayers and blessings.
Clint's eye twitched.
One was already quite energetic, but now there are three!
Is there any chance this can be fixed?
Let's just destroy this world!
"Oh, you're back so early."
Shuen, who was with the Clint family (let's call him Mentor Shuen for now), greeted the other two versions of himself.
"Did you get everything?"
"Got it."
Xiu En (the Divine Bow Xiu En), holding the golden bow, nodded and handed over the bow without a string, as if showing off a local specialty he had brought back from a trip.
"This thing is called the Bow of Apollo, a weapon of the sun god. It tastes very pure, like concentrated orange juice without any added sugar. It has a crisp texture, but it's quite potent."
"Mine is too."
Xiu En (Star Arrow Xiu En), who was playing with a silver whistle arrow in his hand, also came over and handed the arrow to them to see.
"This thing was used by a space pirate named Yondu. It doesn't have much of a smell, and its hardness is just average, but the arrow is imbued with the blessings of countless dead children. I think using it will improve your mood and be helpful to the New World."
As he spoke, he even glanced kindly at Nate, the youngest son of the Bartons, who was hiding behind Clint, which frightened the boy so much that he quickly buried his head even deeper.
"I see."
The instructor, Xiu En, commented.
"One provided the bow (main material), and the other provided the arrows (additional attributes). Not bad, this time the efficiency was very high."
The three Xiuens huddled together, analyzing the sample in their hands.
"Hey, this time I didn't mess things up."
The sunflower on their mentor Xiu En's shoulder boasted to her two companions through telepathic communication that only they could hear.
Come on.
The sunflower on Shen Gong Xiu En's shoulder mercilessly pierced her.
[You idiot, you almost ruined someone's life with your healing! If you hadn't intervened in time, the festival would have been ruined.]
You've got it all figured out.
The Sunflower Unit 3 on Star Arrow Shuen's shoulder spoke with lingering fear.
The guy I'm following is helping some idiot named Star-Lord fight his planet's father. Do you know how much trouble it is to appease a whole bunch of kids whose souls just came out of a god's belly?!
The three sunflowers chatted amongst themselves, occasionally slapping each other with their leaves and sharing the strange pollen they had collected from different universes.
Their tea party was clearly much more interesting than the three of them discussing the taste of the ingredients.
"So, all three of them are you?"
Kate, a wealthy girl with a higher education, felt like her CPU had burned out.
She pointed to the three identical Xiu Ens, then to the mentor Xiu En who had brought them there, and stammered a question.
"You can understand it that way."
After thinking for a moment, the mentor, Xiu En, decided to explain it in a way that they could understand.
"We are all the same person, just employees assigned to different project teams. Now that the project is completed, we're back for a debriefing meeting."
"Three of you, three of flowers..."
Clint pointed to the three sunflowers that were also chatting.
"Theoretically, that's correct."
"So, are you able to know what the other is thinking?"
Kate pressed for more information.
Mentor Xiu En shook his head.
"No. To prevent receiving too much clutter while working on projects, we shut down our local area networks before the business trip, only maintaining a one-way connection with the mainnet."
He glanced at his two colleagues.
"In other words, if they hadn't told me themselves just now, I wouldn't have known whether they were on vacation or saving the world these past few days."
This explanation led Clint and others into a kind of thinking called "Gods slacking off at work."
"Alright, now that all the core components of the festival have arrived..."
Mentor Xiu En clapped his hands, drawing everyone's attention back.
"Now, only the final assembly step remains."
He turned his gaze back to Clint.
"You, Clint Barton, wielder of the Divine Bow."
Then, he looked at the divine bow-wielding Shuen, who held the golden bow. Shuen understood and gently tossed it, and the stringless bow, shining with the light of the sun, flew automatically to Clint's front and hovered in the air.
He then looked at Star Arrow Xiu En, who was holding a whistle arrow.
Star Arrow Xiu En also threw out the silver short arrow in his hand, which transformed into a longer divine arrow.
It hovered quietly beside the Bow of Apollo.
"Take them."
"Mentor Shuen said to Clint."
"Then, under my guidance, let us fire this arrow that everyone has been waiting for."
This time, there was no refusal on Clint's face.
Then, another anomaly occurred.
The radiance of two suns intertwined on the horizon.
One of the golden suns, representing Xiu En's true form, cast a beam of light even more dazzling than the setting sun, enveloping the open space in the center of the lawn.
A figure descended from within that pillar of light.
He wore the same trench coat as his three clones, but the starry lining on the robe made it seem as if the real universe was flowing.
Xiu En's true form has arrived.
Beside him, a softer, more vibrant green beam of light descended.
As the light faded, Ivy's figure appeared.
"Welcome back, Xiu En."
Ivy's gaze remained fixed on Xiu En from beginning to end.
With the arrival of the main body, the three clones of Xiu En, who had been comparing themselves to each other, simultaneously stopped talking.
Their bodies began to become transparent, turning into points of light of varying sizes, as if drawn into Xiu En's main body.
With each fusion of a point of light, Xiu En's golden eyes shone brighter, and his aura became more human, becoming more rounded and unified.
The three sunflower clones also underwent changes.
Two of them (carried by the Divine Bow Xiu En and the Star Arrow Xiu En) were originally energy bodies simulated by Xiu En using the Great Sun Projection Technique. At this moment, as the host dissipated, they transformed into two streams of life energy and actively merged into Ivy's body.
All that remained was the sunflower on the mentor Xiu En's shoulder.
It was separated from Ivy and is not under Xiu En's jurisdiction.
The little sunflower looked to its left and saw that there was no one there.
Looking to the right, all that remained was Ivy's true form, with a half-smile.

It paused for a moment, seemingly to fit in, and then symbolically shook its flower head. Afterward, the entire plant transformed into a ball of natural energy and happily threw itself into Ivy's embrace.
"Alright, now we can get down to business."
"I've already chosen the location, it's behind that mountain, where the leyline nodes are most active. If we go there now, and we're lucky, we can finish before sunset. Don't worry, it'll be quick."
Clint was still reeling from the scene of the Trinity. He stared blankly at the bow and arrows in front of him, momentarily forgetting how to react.
"etc."
Ivy interrupted Xiu En's impatient plan.
Ivy walked over, her eyes fixed on Xiu En.
"Our guests have come from afar, is this how you intend to entertain them? They haven't even had dinner yet, and you're already dragging them up the mountain to be chilled by the wind?"
"We can eat after the ceremony!"
Xiu En defended himself.
"That would be a victory celebration banquet, which would be more ceremonial."
"Let's eat now, it's called a welcome feast."
She's right.
A classical Chinese font dominates the system.
[The proper etiquette must be followed and should not be neglected. When a state has guests, the host has a kitchen. This is both etiquette and the way of Heaven.]
"Even you say that?"
Xiu En muttered to himself quietly.
Xiu En eventually compromised.
"Okay, okay."
He reluctantly put away his bow and arrows, and shrugged at the bewildered Clint and the others.
"The process has changed, everyone. Please follow me. I guarantee you will taste the world's finest cuisine."
"Alfred—!"
Xiu En shouted in the direction of the manor.
"Guests have arrived! Time to eat! The best of the best!"
An elderly butler, dressed in a sharp tailcoat and with his hair neatly combed, appeared on the steps at the entrance.
"Welcome back, Mr. Shuen."
Alfred bowed slightly, his gaze sweeping over the crowd on the lawn.
"And welcome, distinguished guests, to Wayne Manor."
"Dinner will begin promptly at seven o'clock. Before that, I have prepared guest rooms and a steaming afternoon tea for everyone."
Faced with Afu's service.
The Barton children cheered and rushed toward the kind old man who was serving tea and snacks.
Clint watched all this and decided that for the rest of the day, he would pretend he was sleepwalking.
After all, the idea of two suns witnessing the union of gods is generally an absurd dream, right?
Dinner at Wayne Manor.
It was so abundant that anyone returning from the battlefield would have the illusion that this was paradise.
The time after dinner is always exceptionally leisurely.
Laura had urged the children to go to the guest room to rest long ago, and they fell into a deep sleep almost as soon as their heads touched the soft pillows.
The crackling of the burning firewood in the fireplace brought warmth and light to the large living room.
Xiu En felt that this might be a good time to conduct pre-job training.
He sat down opposite Clint, who was also holding a cup of hot tea and in a state of deep contemplation, with a cup of hot drink made by Alford in his hand.
Kate and Maya sat on the sofa next to them, like two primary school students listening attentively to a lesson.
"We will depart promptly at eight o'clock tomorrow morning."
Xiu En announced it bluntly.
"The entire ceremony will last about thirty minutes and won't interfere with your lunch."
Clint looked at Shuen in front of him: "So, before I shoot an arrow with myself, can you tell me what my target is?"
Having witnessed the Trinity and the two suns descending from the sky, he felt that even if Shuen told him now that Afu was actually God himself, he would probably just say "oh".
"A target."
Hugh thought for a moment, trying to find a word that Clint could understand.
"You can think of it as a filthy thing filled with rotten tomato sauce."
Kate nearly choked on her own saliva.
"There is a dimension filled with evil and chaotic energy. Its name is the Crimson Dimension."
Ivy leaned against the fireplace, providing supplementary explanations for Xiu En.
"All you have to do is use your arrow to poke a hole in that rotten tomato."
Shuen nodded, indicating that Ivy's explanation was spot on: "Yes, the ritual will open a temporary passage to that dimension. You don't need to think about anything, just shoot the arrow in and pierce it. Just like when you shot that big guy Kingpin in New York last time."
"And then what? What will happen? Will the world explode? Or will some strange, tentacle-like monster jump out?"
Nothing will happen.
Xiu En shook his head.
"That arrow, imbued with the power of the sun god and his blessings, will create an unhealable wound in that dimension. Spring will then begin to grow from that wound. This is a release for the souls of the dead in that world."
Seeing Clint's still bewildered expression, Shuen gave up trying to explain.
"In short, it's safe, good for your physical and mental health, and it's also a good deed. All you have to do is shoot arrows."
Clint rubbed his temples.
He felt like he was participating in a large-scale cult pyramid scheme.
"Fine, I'll shoot, okay? Just let me get home as soon as possible."
"Then it's settled."
Xiu En was satisfied and stood up.
He felt it was essential to eat a few cookies to celebrate the successful completion of this collaboration.
He walked happily toward the kitchen.
A few minutes later.
Xiu En walked out of the kitchen empty-handed again.
His face bore the expression of someone who had just discovered their name wasn't on Santa's gift list.
Ah Fu didn't bake any new cookies; he couldn't find anything.
"Are the cookies gone?"
"Not a single piece left?"
"What's gone, Mr. Shuen?"
Alfred looked up and gave a kind smile.
"Cookies! The batch of mini cookies you baked yesterday afternoon!"
Xiu En emphasized.
"Oh, you mean cookies."
Afu's smile remained unchanged.
"It should be on the cooling rack. I remember it was yesterday afternoon. I distinctly remember baking enough for you to last until the next century. Could it be that some dimensional thief has infiltrated the manor without our knowledge?"
Shuen did not tell him that he was the thief.
He just looked at Afu.
Ivy turned her face toward the fireplace, feeling her face burning.
Alfred shook his head helplessly.
"Okay, okay."
He went to the kitchen.
"It seems my baking skills will have to engage in a never-ending race against your digestion speed."
No matter how bizarrely the cookies disappear, as long as Shum wants to eat them, his oven will never go out.
