Chapter 275 The little blue man is the little blue man, and the green lantern is the green lantern.

The latest update is now live and awaits your interpretation.

Xiu En's smile grew even brighter.

"Very good. The internal conflict has been successfully escalated, and the actors' emotions have been brewing for a while. So, it's time to give them a stage to choose from."

As he spoke, he snapped his fingers at the garbage bag.

"Smack."

The garbage bag shattered, turning into countless green specks of light that slowly dissipated.

The restraints have been removed.

The Green Lanterns who were trapped inside have regained their freedom.

But none of them, like Kilowog had done before, roared and charged forward immediately.

They simply hovered silently in place, heads bowed, like a group of marionettes who had lost their way.

Everyone's eyes instinctively turned to the figure with its back to them.

Kirowog.

This was the Green Lantern Corps' strictest instructor, most steadfast executor, and most loyal soldier.

He remained motionless.

No one could see his expression at that moment, but everyone could feel a terrible aura emanating from his body, a mixture of anger, sadness, and shame.

Hal knew how cruel the truth was for a veteran like Kilowog, whose very bones held "loyalty" and "honor."

Perhaps? He will choose to remain loyal to the Guardians.

Perhaps? He will take it all as a conspiracy by the enemy to bewitch people.

Perhaps? They are destined to fight again.

But in any case, Hal was prepared.

He had made up his mind that no matter the cost, he would make the Guardians give him an answer.

at last.

Kilowog moved.

When he faced the crowd again.

His usually rough, pink pig-like face was now filled with sadness and exhaustion.

Those small eyes, which always burned with reprimanding anger, also became cloudy and filled with pain.

Hal Jordan.

Kirowog spoke up.

This time, when referring to Hal, the word "rookie" was not used.

Is everything you're seeing real?

He asked.

"Yes, instructor."

Hal met his gaze and answered firmly.

"I felt them with my soul."

Kilowog closed his eyes, clenched his fists at his sides, and then slowly relaxed them.

This was repeated several times, as if something was being suppressed.

"I see."

When he opened his eyes again, the confusion in them had faded.

He raised his head, looking past Shuen and Hal, towards Oa.

This is the homeland he once swore to protect with his life.

"The first line of our legion's oath is: to fight for peace."

"We are not fighting for the guardians."

Kilowog turned to the group of his proudest students behind him, who had also fallen silent.

"You... believe me, or believe the Guardians' files?"

More than a dozen Green Light elites responded with action almost simultaneously.

They flew together behind Kilowog and formed a battle formation.

"Okay." Kirowog nodded.

He gave Hal one last, deep look, his eyes filled with satisfaction and approval.

Then, he looked at the golden figure who had been quietly watching the show from the sidelines the whole time.

"I don't care what you are."

I don't care what your purpose is.

"But today, I owe you a favor."

He gave his subordinates behind him his first order since the truth was revealed.

"Let's go."

"Notify all those still on missions: Squads 78, 143, 215... all the old guys I still trust!"

"Tell them!"

"We demand an explanation!!!"

After saying that, he led the dozen or so determined Green Lanterns behind him, transforming into streaks of green light and speeding towards the communications relay station deep in space!

He's going to call for reinforcements!

He was going to gather all those who remembered the Green Light Pledge and were still willing to fight for true justice!

Xiu En looked in the direction they had left and let out a heartfelt exclamation.

A decent group of people; Xiu En wanted to see what they would do next.

Shum originally only wanted to recruit Hal, but now he thinks the other Green Lanterns might be a good option as well.

"Wow, that's a powerful and determined statement. Your company's corporate culture is truly remarkable."

Shuen smiled and pointed in the direction where Kilowog and the others had disappeared. He then said to Hal, who was still somewhat bewildered, "I think it might be more interesting to see how the actors rehearse before watching the final performance."

Hal paused for a moment, then understood what Shuen meant.

"You mean we should catch up with them?"

"But with Instructor Kirowog's sensory abilities, we'll be detected as soon as we get close."

"Who said we were getting closer?"

A golden halo instantly enveloped him and Hal.

The next second, Hal realized that he and Shuen, along with all the light and energy fluctuations on them, seemed to have been erased from the universe.

He stood there, ignoring even the patrols flying towards him.

"What is this?"

"A little bit of stage magic."

Hal swallowed hard, asked no more questions, and followed Xiu En.

The two silently traversed the patrol network of OA, following the green trail of Kilowog, and arrived at an old-fashioned communications relay station located in the asteroid belt on the back of OA, a place that Hal had never set foot in before.

This is an ancient facility dating back millions of years, long since replaced by a new hyperspace communication network. Normally, apart from patrolling robots, no Lanterns come here.

Clearly, this is the location of a secret meeting.

Kirowog and his dozen or so solemn-looking subordinates hovered in front of the dish antenna, seemingly waiting for something.

Shuen and Hal observed from behind a floating meteorite.

Not long after.

Three streaks of green light, coming from different directions, almost simultaneously...

It roared in from the depths of the universe!

Hal's pupils contracted when he saw the three streaks of light!

"Thoma Ray, Salak, and Arise?"

He subconsciously uttered those three names.

The three most respected and powerful living legends of the Green Lantern Corps have arrived!

One of them is Thomas Ray from the planet Xudar. He has the head of a bird, with sharp and intelligent eyes.

He was the Legion's chief scientist and historian, known for his rationality and erudition, and was a recognized sage.

The other one is Salak from the planet Slyggia.

He has four arms and a face covered with compound eyes like an insect, and is known for his rigidity, strictness, and absolute adherence to rules and regulations.

He is the guardian of OA, responsible for managing all the Legion's archives, laws, and restricted areas; he is known as the walking Green Light Codex.

The last one is Arise Rabo from the planet Graxos IV.

She is a tall female warrior and one of the oldest living non-Guardians in the Green Lantern Corps, even older than Kirowog.

She is known for her courage, fairness, and protectiveness, and is a spiritual idol for countless Lantern Knights.

These three individuals represent the pinnacle of the Green Lantern Corps in terms of "brains," "law enforcement," and "force."

They are the true pillars supporting the operation of this massive military organization.

Kirowog actually called them all!

"Kilowog".

The first to speak was Salak, whose face was serious and whose four arms were crossed in front of his chest.

"You have summoned us here from our posts under the pretext of the Legion's highest emergency. If your reasons do not satisfy us, you will face at least three hundred years of confinement."

"Trust me, Salak."

"After you see this, you'll realize that our military regulations are nothing but a joke."

He simply raised his hand; he had learned this move without being taught when he was sharing it with Hal.

He shared the memory that Hal had just shared with him once again with the three pillars of the legion before him.

As a historian, Thomas knew more about the vague account of Sector 666 than anyone else, but he never imagined that the destruction caused by that simple clash of civilizations was such a bloody truth!

His wings trembled unconsciously behind him.

Arise's resolute face was filled with shock and disbelief. As a veteran who had fought for tens of thousands of years, she had witnessed countless killings, but she had never seen a one-sided massacre led by the justice she was protecting.

The veins on her hand, which was gripping her sword tightly, bulged.

Salak, a man who considered rules and order his very life, was utterly stunned. His countless compound eyes reflected the image of the mechanical hunters destroying everything. The Green Lantern Codex in his brain was being violently bombarded by this image.

Every clause about protecting life and upholding justice is crumbling.

"This is a fake!"

"This is an enemy plot! Kirowog! You've been deceived by that Earthling! By that golden monster!"

"cheat?"

He pointed to his heart.

"My ring, my will, my soul are all telling me this."

"This is all fucking real!"

His subordinates also lit up their rings, and those green lights, though still carrying pain, were incredibly resolute, forming a powerful testament to their strength!

Thomas slowly landed beside Kirowog, and gently placed his bird-claw-like hand on Kirowog's shoulder.

He closed his eyes, and his will connected with that of Kirovog.

A moment later, he opened his eyes, his gaze filled with nothing but endless sorrow and rage.

"The data matches."

"The emotional spectrum fluctuations that Kirowog sensed were exactly the same as the energy frequency recorded in the ancient archives when the first red light was created. Furthermore, I also detected an information blocking protocol imposed by the Guardians."

"They lied to us."

"They lied to all of us."

Salak's four arms hung limply at his sides.

Arise turned his head and asked.

"Kilowovog, what do you want to do?"

This is asking...

Which side should we stand on?

Without hesitation, Kilowog said directly.

"I demand an explanation!"

Over the next hour, one after another, experienced Green Light teams, summoned by the highest emergency response order, converged on this asteroid belt from all corners of the universe.

Among them are battle-hardened warriors, highly respected scholars, and administrators who oversee key departments of the Green Lantern Corps. Each of them is a pillar of the Green Lantern Corps.

Without exception, after watching the truth, filled with blood and tears, shared by Kilowog, they all fell into a long silence.

Then, they all chose to stand behind Kilowog.

Ultimately, a team of over two hundred veteran Green Lanterns was formed.

They followed Kilowog, as if attending a funeral, flying towards the green heart of Oa.

Shuen and Hal mingled in this silent group.

The Guardian's Hall, the highest power center on Planet OA.

This place is always pristine, with giant pillars constructed of pure light supporting a dome as vast as a real starry sky.

Twelve blue figures hovered in the center of the hall; they were the legislators and supreme arbiters of this universe.

Guardians of the Universe.

When Kilowog led his large inquiry team to the square in front of the palace gates in an almost coup-like manner.

Those twelve figures.

It was as if they had been waiting there all along.

The leading guardian spoke.

"Kilowog. You've gathered the legion's most elite forces and come here. Is this how you intend to repay the Guardians' trust?"

Kirowog took a step forward.

"We've come here seeking an answer."

Hal, along with Thomas, Arise, and others, stood beside Kilowog, facing the blue figures that had once filled him with immense awe.

"Guardians".

Hal spoke up.

"I want to know, what exactly happened to the destruction of Sector 666 of the universe, Planet Lake, and thousands of other civilizations?"

Clearly, the Green Lanterns still held onto a sliver of hope, wanting to hear what the Guardians had to say.
