American comics: Praising the sun, starting from Gotham!
Chapter 341 What should the Avengers and the Justice League be called in one place?
Xiu En waved to the geniuses who were so engrossed in their work that they didn't even bother to lift their heads, as a way of saying hello.
His figure disappeared in a flash of light into the information-packed office of TVA.
Meanwhile, under the ever-present warm sunlight of the Ximu Realm, the atmosphere of this grand party spanning two universes was reaching its climax.
The Flash, Barry, and Quicksilver, Pietro, ran around the sunflower field, stealing the last piece of Basque cake from Alfred's food truck. Hawkeye, being pestered by his excited children, was forced to perform a skillful archery demonstration, shooting nectar from a flower at a hundred paces, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Everyone temporarily forgot their troubles and crises, enjoying this hard-won peace and joy.
Just then, a golden light appeared out of thin air in the center of the party.
Xiu En emerged from the light.
"I'm sorry, everyone."
"The party is about to end."
The music stopped abruptly.
Barry and Pietro, who were running, nearly collided when they braked suddenly.
"What happened?"
Captain America Steve Rogers was the first to step forward.
"A war."
Xiu En's words were concise and to the point.
Clark and Diana immediately came over, their faces filled with worry.
"This is different from the troubles I've dealt with before."
Shuen's gaze swept over everyone present, from the core members of the Justice League to the heroes of the Avengers.
"Our enemy is a time empire that spans all timelines, possesses an inexhaustible army, and takes pleasure in erasing existence."
"They called themselves the Kang Dynasty."
Even the most boisterous Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, lost his smile. They were all battle-hardened warriors, and they could sense an unprecedented pressure in Shuen's tone.
"Alright, that's the bad news. Now it's time to clear the area."
Xiu En's tone suddenly turned into feigned impatience.
He emphasized his words.
"All ordinary people who have nothing to do with the fighting, like you."
He looked at Hawkeye and his family.
"And Peter's fat friend Ned, and the children from the orphanage! All ordinary people, go home now! Those who aren't ordinary people, go home too! But those who want to stay can stay!"
"This is not a war you can participate in. A stray bullet could wipe you out along with all the memories of your existence. I don't want to be distracted by collecting your corpses during the fighting."
Although his words were harsh, everyone could feel his intention to protect others.
A safe passage to their respective worlds was opened. Hawkeye's family, Peter's friends, and the ordinary Kamar-Taj mages and S.H.I.E.L.D. support personnel who had just come to the party, along with all sorts of ordinary people and their families, began to evacuate in an orderly fashion. Some were highly capable fighters, such as the visibly older Hawkeye, but Shun clearly didn't want this family-oriented man involved in the fighting and sent him home. Even those with mental disabilities, like Solomon, were sent back by Shun.
Soon, the vast sunflower field was left with only the two most central heroes of the universe, as well as Lucifer, an old man who refused to reveal his identity, and some other strange people.
Featuring characters from the DC Universe such as Superman, Batman (the original form), Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, Zatanna, Constantine, Alvin, Joestar, and more.
It features Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Spider-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also includes the other three members of the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Strange with a pea shooter on his head, among others.
Steve Rogers spoke again, his face showing no fear.
"Who are our enemies? What are their objectives? How much time do we have to prepare?"
Just then, projections of Bruce, Tony, and Reed appeared simultaneously in the sky above the party.
"Let me give you a briefing, everyone."
Bruce's reassuring voice rang out.
Over the next ten minutes, the three geniuses presented everything they had discovered in the TVA database.
The lies of the Holy Timeline, the composition of the Council of Kang, the principle of the Time Erasure Weapon, and the ambiguous strategy guide left behind by Kang were explained to everyone.
"A council composed of endless evil itself?"
Thor gripped Mjolnir tightly, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Odin's beard, this is a million times more troublesome than my good-for-nothing brother!"
"Huh? A weapon based on causality?"
"What is an endless army?"
"An endless, infinite universe?"
"Can we win?"
No one answered.
But no one backed down.
"Ha! He wants a war, so we'll give him a war."
Steve looked around at all his companions.
"We may come from different worlds and have different pasts. But today we share a common enemy, we fight to protect the same thing, we fight for the tomorrow of everyone!"
"The Avengers".
He raised his arm.
"For all tomorrows."
Thor and Hulk responded.
Meanwhile, Clark flew to Diana's side.
"The Justice League too."
"We will not let anyone steal our future."
"Well said!"
The ring on Hal Jordan's hand, the Green Lantern, is shining brightly.
"I can't wait to see if my ring can turn that bastard Kang's head into a green pumpkin!"
At this moment, two teams of heroes from their respective universes stood side by side for a common goal.
An alliance dedicated to protecting the multiverse was born amidst this golden sea of sunflowers.
A young, slightly nervous voice rang out.
Excuse me, could you spare me a moment?
Peter Parker raised one hand somewhat hesitantly.
Facing Captain America's resolute face, Superman's gentle gaze, and Thor's imposing physique, he felt his palms sweating.
"I just feel that now that we're a team, shouldn't we have a more memorable name?"
He quickly finished explaining his proposal, then added as if afraid of being rejected.
"I mean, look at the Justice League and the Avengers' temporary joint task force, that name is way too long to pronounce! We'd bite our tongues trying to shout it out on the battlefield!"
Barry Allen was the first to burst out laughing.
"Hey kid, you're right."
Tony's projection appeared on the screen, looking at Peter with an appreciative gaze.
"That's visionary! Brand image is very important. I agree."
He seemed intrigued: "How about I call it 'Ultimate Front'? Or 'Multiple Guardians'?"
"Too ordinary."
Hal the Green Lantern immediately retorted.
"I think the Spectrum Expeditionary Force is quite good, after all, I just finished dealing with the spectrum issue."
"Why not call it the Sunflower Guardians?"
Ivy whispered to Xiu En in a voice only the two of them could hear.
"This is my territory."
Xiu En nodded in deep agreement: "That makes sense, that's the name we should use."
I don't think names are important.
Steve Rogers rubbed his temples, trying to steer the conversation back on track.
"What we need to do is fight, not register a trademark."
"I agree with Steve."
Clark gently echoed.
"What we call ourselves doesn't matter, what matters is that we stand together."
"No, no, no, this is very important!"
Peter panicked.
"A good name can boost morale! Like 'Amazing Friends'! What do you think? It sounds friendly and gives off a sense of unity!"
"turn down."
Tony and Hal said in unison.
"That's so childish, little spider."
Hal retorted without holding back.
"It sounds like a children's cartoon on a Saturday morning," Tony added.
"The Web Weavers' Alliance?"
"You're the only one here who can spin silk."
"A crossover Avenger?"
"Your partner will protest."
Xiu En was getting a little impatient: "Let's just call him 'Glutton' then."
"ha?"
Everyone, including the three geniuses on the screen, wore expressions of disbelief.
"The enemy is Kang, we are against Kang. A good-for-nothing, simple, direct, and easy to remember."
"Don't you get tired of shouting a long list of names before a battle? Just shout 'Good-for-nothings, attack!' That's much more impressive."
Peter Parker even began to wonder if he had made a huge mistake by suggesting a name.
The others also began to consider Spider-Man's suggestion, which was better than the idiot's.
"Cough cough."
Finally, Bruce's projection coughed twice, breaking the awkward silence.
The latest chapter is now available! Book lovers, hurry back!
"Considering the nature of our operation and in order to integrate the resources and symbolism of the two universes, I propose that our alliance be named the Cross-Dimensional Guardians Alliance."
This name is neither as flashy as Tony nor as outrageous as Shum.
"I have no objection."
Steve was the first to nod.
"I agree."
Diana seconded it.
The heroes present looked at each other and all felt that although the name was simple, it was very fitting when compared to the name "Glutton".
"Okay, okay, although it sounds a bit like the name of an insurance company."
Tony has essentially compromised.
"It's better than being a good-for-nothing."
"Now that the alliance has been formed, we need a command center."
Bruce immediately moved on to the next topic, looking at Hugh and Ivy.
"The Ximu Realm is the only bridge connecting the two universes. I propose that we immediately establish a cross-universe joint command center here for tactical planning and logistical support."
"no problem."
Ivy answered for Xiu En. With a wave of her hand, countless huge vines and metal veins intertwined on a vast grassland not far away, beginning to construct a magnificent building full of life and technological beauty.
Cyborg Victor stepped forward, his electronic eyes flashing blue.
"I can build a quantum communication network that spans two universes."
"Leave the energy supply to me."
"Leave the energy supply to me."
Thor raised his hammer, and a faint rumble of thunder echoed across the sky.
"Just tell me how much electricity you want."
"very good."
"Tony, Reed, your technical team must immediately back up all TVA data to the command center's server. At the same time, begin developing targeted countermeasures based on Kang's strategy."
"Leave it to us."
Reed rubbed his hands together excitedly.
"I already have over a hundred ideas for time-stabilized anchors!"
"My anti-Kang armor will soon be ready for mass production."
Tony said confidently.
Steve looked at Diana, Thor, Hulk, and other top-tier combatants.
"We need to maintain peak condition and be ready to respond to the first wave of attacks from the Council of Kang. Barry, you and Pietro will be in charge of reconnaissance and information relay. Hal, I heard you mentioned having a group of Legion friends; can your Legion provide interstellar support?"
"At a single command, the green light will remain on!"
The construction of the joint command center proceeded at an unimaginable speed. With Ivy's will and Cyborg's assistance, a magnificent complex blending the mysteries of life with cutting-edge technology rose from the ground in just half an hour. A quantum communication network spanned both universes, and logistical supplies began to flow steadily from the warehouses of Wayne Enterprises and Stark Industries.
But an even more serious problem is facing the three leaders of the technical team.
I call it the delete key.
In the main laboratory of the command center, Tony Stark pointed to a holographic screen that was playing in slow motion an image of a Kangzhi Council soldier firing.
"It's altering the past. It's telling the universe directly: Hey, this rock never existed here."
"Weapon of the Law of Cause and Effect."
"An attack at the level of laws. This means that all our physical defenses and energy shields are useless against it. We won't even feel the impact; we'll be erased along with everyone's memories."
"A very difficult enemy to defend against."
"This war is unwinnable."
"Unless we can also manipulate the laws of nature! Since he can alter our past, why can't we put a lock on our present?"
"Existential anchoring theory?"
Reed immediately understood his line of thinking, and even thought it through more deeply than he did.
"Using an ultra-high-dimensional beacon, we can forcibly fix an individual's existence coordinates to the current time slice! Yes, theoretically possible!"
"That's right!"
Tony clapped his hands excitedly.
"The problem now is, where are we going to find a thumbtack big enough to pin Superman down?"
"N metal, vibranium, uranium."
Bruce immediately named three names.
"These are the three metals we know of, from different universes, that contain special laws. Xiu En has plenty in his food warehouse, cough cough, his material warehouse."
"Having the materials alone is not enough."
Reed shook his head as countless equations flashed across the holographic screen in front of him.
"We need to sample each hero's energy characteristics, biological frequency, and even soul fluctuations! This will allow us to tailor a unique lock for each of them! The computational workload is enormous; even with the three of us, it will take at least three weeks."
"We don't have three weeks."
"Perhaps I can help?"
A gentle voice came from the side.
The three turned around and saw Clark Kent standing there with an uncertain smile on his face.
"Oh, Clark."
"We know you're strong, but what we need right now is brains, not muscles."
Before he could finish speaking, Clark walked up to Reed's holographic screen, which was almost smoking from computational overload. He watched it quietly.
The red light representing thermal vision flickered in his eyes, but quickly dimmed, turning into a blue glow. The waterfall of rapidly refreshing data on Reed's screen was reflected in his pupils, but the speed seemed to be slowed down a thousand times.
"There is a tiny constant error in the string theory model for this part."
Clark pointed to a series of complex formulas on the screen that were giving Tony a headache.
"If we replace π with τ and introduce a spatial curvature compensation value, the computational workload can be reduced by 40%."
He then looked at Tony: "And your energy cycle design, if you change the main power supply line from a ring to a Klein bottle topology, the energy efficiency can be increased by 60%, and it can be compatible with multiple energy systems such as divine power, magic and gamma rays."
Several onlookers stared at Clark in disbelief.
"My God..."
"I always thought 'superbrain' was just an adjective..."
Bruce was the only one who didn't show surprise; he simply nodded in satisfaction. "Great, the tech team now has four people. Let's get to work."
With the powerful addition of the Superman supercomputer, the development speed of the armor has been greatly accelerated.
The heroes lined up to undergo physical examinations in front of a full-body scanner built by Cyborg, Reed, and Tony.
"Hey! Take that cold thing off me!"
The Hulk roared angrily, refusing to cooperate. Reed's octopus-like scanning probe was slapped away as soon as it approached.
In the end, it was Hugh who stepped in and pulled out a huge vine emitting calming pollen from his trench coat. He waved it in front of Hugh like a cat toy, which finally calmed him down.
Diana, on the other hand, was filled with curiosity about all of this.
"That's interesting, Bruce. Is this thing even better at reading people's minds than the Lasso of Truth?"
"It can only see through your energy composition, Diana."
When it was Thor's turn, he simply handed him Mjolnir: "Need me to recharge your crappy machines? Pure, unpolluted divine power from Asgard—one strike and your instruments will be burning bright until the next century!"
"Get it away! Get it away now!"
Tony was terrified that his precious instrument would be smashed back to its original state with a hammer.
Xiu En and Ivy sat not far away watching all this, eating the late-night snack that Afu had just brought them.
"Look at them, don't they look like a group of kindergarten children lining up for a physical exam?"
"A group of top-notch minds are burning themselves out to save the world."
"Yes." Xiu En nodded, expressing his deep sympathy.
"Therefore, we should eat more and eat their share too, so as not to waste food."
Ivy: "..."
Just as a tense yet optimistic research atmosphere filled the laboratory, a red alert sounded!
On the main screen, all the data being analyzed was instantly covered by an emblem representing Kang.
"What's going on?!"
Steve Rogers rushed to the control panel.
"It's a backdoor program in TVA!"
"It's the Council of Kang! They used the path we took to invade to pinpoint our coordinates!"
Loki's slightly gloating voice came through the communicator: "Looks like you guys made quite a commotion when you were breaking into the safe. Good news or bad news, which do you want to hear first?"
"explain!"
"The bad news is that a vanguard fleet of Kang's forces has already reached the outer space of the Ximu Realm through the time storm, numbering around fifty ships."
"And what's the good news?"
"The good news is that this fleet doesn't belong to any of the main Kang forces we know of. They're from another Kang variant that's currently at war with the Conqueror Kang Prime. They only found this place because they stumbled upon our large temporal anomaly while hunting down the remnants of the Survivors."
"Simply put, we were just a nest of ants they happened to be passing by and wanted to step on."
Before he finished speaking, the sky over the Ximu Realm darkened.
One after another, silver-white warships slowly emerged from the crack. Their prows were perfectly aligned, radiating a chilling blue glow.
