Guyver Armor: KAP-2

Chapter 13 Battle: The Hidden Danger of Armor Going Out of Control

Inside a warehouse on the outskirts of town, the fighting continues.

"Vimoa—! Damn it, Cape!"

A piercing roar echoed through the empty warehouse. Kureg's bloodshot pupils were fixed on the dark yellow figure in front of him. The two-and-a-half-meter-tall, burly body had bulging muscles that looked like cast steel.

He watched helplessly as his teammate died, and the rage instantly extinguished his reason, making him completely forget the disparity in strength between the two sides.

"Awooo—!"

Kureg suddenly bent down, his back muscles bulging, highlighting the huge, metallic horn on his forehead.

He charged toward Kep like a runaway rhinoceros, his massive weight causing the warehouse floor to tremble slightly with every step he took.

At the same time, the claws of the other two Ramochus suddenly shot out, flanking from both sides and joining the attack from the front with Cooleg's charge.

Not far away, the last Ramochus arched his body, his amber beast eyes fixed on the battlefield, his limbs slightly tense, assuming a guard position.

Facing this three-pronged attack, the KEP-2 stood firmly in place, with the sensory metal on both sides of its head rotating rapidly up and down as if it were alive.

With the super-precise sensing system built into the Guyver Armor operating at full speed, every move of the Zoan soldiers was clearly reflected in Tsubasa Kamino's mind.

He deftly sidestepped the impact of Kureg's giant horn, and his left arm shot out a high-frequency sword like lightning. The pale blue, high-frequency vibrating blade emitted a sharp "hum" sound.

With a slight twist of his wrist, Jinno Tsubasa used the momentum of his sideways movement to send the high-frequency sword tracing a smooth yet deadly arc, precisely slashing towards Kureg's side.

"Crack—" The high-frequency sword easily severed Kureg's thick right arm as if cutting butter, and dark green fluid mixed with broken biological tissue gushed out.

Before it could even scream, the KAP-2's knee rose like a hammer and slammed into its chest.

The sound of bones shattering was clearly audible. The enormous impact sent Kureg's massive body flying backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily onto the metal frame of the warehouse with a loud bang.

Having repelled Creg, before Kannagi had even fully landed, a flash of blue light appeared at her elbow, and the high-frequency sword on her right arm suddenly shot out from her elbow.

The moment he landed, he swept his arms out to the sides, and the pale blue shadow of the high-frequency sword left two afterimages that did not intersect in his vision.

Before the two Ramochets flanking from both sides could even get close to the body of the Captain 2, they were precisely cleaved in two by the slashing blade.

The ultra-high frequency vibration of the blade instantly carbonizes the biological tissue at the wound site, leaving the cut charred and smooth.

The two Ramochets paused briefly, still in the posture of raising their claws and pouncing forward, seemingly unaware of what had happened.

As his upper body slid to the ground, the two halves of his body began to convulse and scream in agony before finally losing all life.

The whole thing took less than ten seconds.

In front of the shelf, Kurreg struggled to prop himself up, his eyes filled with horror.

Unwilling to entangle with him any longer, Tsubasa Kamino shifted her feet and suddenly lunged forward in front of Creg.

He slightly raised his right arm, his right elbow high, and the sharp high-frequency sword lit up with pale blue patterns along the tip of his elbow again. As he pressed his arm down, he suddenly thrust it into the center of Kureg's head.

"Thud—" The blade pierced through Kureg's hard skull without any resistance, precisely destroying its brain.

The high-frequency oscillation instantly turned the brain tissue into a paste, and the broken brain matter mixed with dark green tissue fluid slowly oozed from the corner of Kurreg's mouth.

Its arm, which was supporting it on the ground, suddenly stopped, then fell limply to the ground, lifeless.

"Captain!! It's...a monster...run..."

The only surviving beastman on the scene, who had survived because he was the last one standing, was terrified.

After witnessing the overwhelming combat power of the KAP-2, it completely lost its will to fight. While roaring irrationally, it abandoned the corpses of its teammates behind it, opened the back door of the warehouse, and turned to flee in panic towards the distant woods.

"I can't let you take my information back like this. Now is not the time to expose the second cyborg."

Tsubasa Kanno calmly watched the fleeing Zoan soldiers ahead, the eye sensors of the Guyver armor already locked onto them.

"Sizzle—"

Two streams of hot air shot out from the heat dissipation vents on both sides of the head armor's cheeks, stirring up the dust accumulated on the ground. This was the result of the bio-engineered armor releasing excess heat and metabolic waste accumulated in its body during combat.

"You can't escape." Amidst the billowing smoke and dust, the radiant ring controlling the metal of the KEP-2 appeared and disappeared. He suddenly exerted force with his feet, and his figure shot out like an arrow.

The powerful leg strength granted to the host by the Bio-Armor Armor allowed him to catch up with Ramoch, who had escaped outside the door, in just a few steps.

At that moment, Ramochus had only run about 20 meters out of the back door of the warehouse and hadn't even had time to show a look of relief when the high-frequency sword, emitting a faint blue light, pierced through his body from behind.

Its body stiffened, and it turned its head to look at the bright yellow light in the eyes of the KEP-2, its face, filled with fear, frozen in a final moment of astonishment.

The moment the blade pierced the body, the high-frequency vibrations directly destroyed all the vital internal organs.

As Kamino Tsubasa retracted the extended high-frequency sword back to his elbow, Ramochus, having lost his support, collapsed heavily to the ground and died instantly.

Tsubasa Kamino turned back to look into the warehouse. The sensors above his head activated again, confirming that all threats in the vicinity had been eliminated.

"This person, and the one on Jing, is the same thing..."

Inside the warehouse, the Segawa siblings, who had witnessed everything, mustered their strength, helped each other to their feet, and slowly walked over.

"Thank... thank you so much for saving us!!"

With trembling voices, Tetsuro Segawa, holding his sister's hand, bowed deeply to the tall, dark yellow figure before them at a perfect ninety-degree angle.

"We will definitely keep this a secret for you and will absolutely not tell anyone."

But there was no response from ahead.

When the brother and sister straightened up, they were astonished to find that the tall figure that had been standing in front of them had vanished without a trace, as if it had never been there at all.

Only a few scattered remains in the warehouse proved that he had been there.

"Kap's gravity control system is really useful... um..."

KAP-2, which easily left the scene thanks to the gravity manipulation capabilities of the Guyver armor, suddenly stopped in its tracks.

The germ cells on the left side of the waist and below the cyborg suddenly began to proliferate violently, twist and swell, but the next second, they were quickly suppressed back to their normal shape by the flashing of the control metal.

This was not his imagination; in that instant, Kamino Tsubasa's brain felt a jolt of electric current.

The area below my waist suddenly felt like it didn't belong to me anymore; I couldn't control it and felt waves of intense, ant-like pain.

"Is this what it means for a bio-armored creature to go out of control? This feeling of being eaten by something is terrifying..."

"It seems we need to find time to test and resolve any potential issues..."
