The mountain behind Sakura High School is officially called Naruseyama. It is a continuous low mountain with dense vegetation, rugged mountain roads, and a muddy swamp at the foot of the mountain. Except for the occasional student skipping class or camping, it is usually deserted.

After school, Tsubasa Kamino carried a backpack containing a climbing rope, an entrenching tool, a first-aid kit, and night vision goggles, and rode the motorcycle left behind by the original owner to the mountain behind the school.

This was the seventh time he had walked this route in recent days.

On his first visit, he only roughly narrowed down the area to the straight line between the school and the Akira family in Fukamachi.

The second time, he discovered the pool of water large enough to submerge Kepp, confirming the detail in the original work that "Saki Fukamachi fell into the water and completed her first transformation";

The third time, he found a natural cave hidden by vines on the west side of the pool, large enough for an adult to hide in.

The fourth time, he found an abandoned wooden hut on the north side of the mountain, which was just the right place to hide his motorcycle, serving as a backup escape point...
